I'm still building a follower base...but as this blog has been attracting the largest online audience when compared to standard brick-and-mortar business owners following my content...or even affiliate marketers wanting to know how to set up a successful Internet infrastructure... business online boils down to one concept --

You put your name online (not your company)
You write from your heart
You attract an audience
You find ways to communicate with that audience
You interact and build loyalty
You close the deal.

Internet Marketing...Is Online Advertising...That's All It Is

Here's where I've had more challenges working with different people from all walks. They're operating from what they've been taught...not necessarily by family members (but that can happen)...but by what they've been taught from childhood by companies.

I'm not joking.

THINK BACK....

When you were a young child, do you remember seeing "all of the thrills and laughs" while watching your favorite T.V. ad selling "rock'em, sock'em, robots"? It looked like a great toy...until you got it home. Then.. it was most likely thrilling for about about 15 minutes..., playing with a younger or older brother or sister...who most likely didn't play it the way they showed you on T.V. ...., UNLESS you became a major fan of that toy, played within a network of same toy lovers like your friends (who actually cooperated and play nicely), but then you did have endless hours of thrilling interaction.

So what was the magic ingredient? The company moving the toy did 3 things:

1) They triggered your desire for "more fun"
2) They promised it would deliver
3) They said it would deliver...for a price.

What did they really do?

1) They promised you would have fun if you bought their toy
2) They said it would be majorly exciting if you bought their toy
3) They said it would be heavenly ...and that you would be popular with everyone..if you bought their toy.

See the pattern?

Whether it's your MLM...whether it's dating a long lost love..., or whether it's moving your MLM...or whether you're moving some affiliate product...or whether you're moving your own business outright, it takes work to know and serve people. It's not really that sexy...it is massive work...but in the final end what you get is this --

1) Increased awareness or an expanded concsciousness
2) The thrill that you knowingly helped someone
3) Fulfillment for doing what you love.

That should be the highest essence behind anything you do.

So What's Affiliate Marketing? 2012 Update.

Hello. Happy 2012!

Thanks for visiting me here today.

While some of you are in a hurry to move your MLM, please allow me to share this reality with you. Take your time. Find out what your company is really doing. Set a monthly limit on what you buy from your MLM. Don't let anyone in your company pressure you into purchasing their 1) corporate websites..., 2) their systems...3) a garage full of products you can't yet move.

One of the biggest questions I get from a lot of people is this --

"Barbara..., So What's Affiliate Marketing?"

Affliate marketing is a way of putting the consumer in touch with a product. Affiliate marketing is one way of moving products, but there are larger numbers of people who use many different marketing methods. Methods vary based on the type of audience that's being reached...where that audience predominantly resides (how people tap into information), and how that audience will be grown by individuals/companies.

1) Affiliate marketing is NOT all there is.

If you are researching what affiliate marketing might mean to you, but you are confused about what it entails, keep your wallet on ice! Do NOT run a random search online because you'll be found by major gurus promising you the moon. Some deliver. Many do not. I touch on this core reality across my blogs...simply because there are people out there who want one thing from you -- your money.

2) There are offline marketing methods.

3) There are offline/online marketing methods designed to advertise...say a movie star or a rock star or say...a department store...or an individual. Their methods may/may not use affiliate marketing, depending on the way they're growing their businesses moving their wares. Mainly, those folks create their own products and they create their own affiliate systems to move their stuff.

Companies may not have full market reach so they pay other people online commissions for connecting consumers with products. That's pretty much the skinny.

4) Common ways of advertising what you most likely purchase happen through --

A) paid offline ads
B) paid online ads
C) free offline ads
D) free online ads

It's obvious...and it's not. If you are a frequent purchaser, and you have not operated your own business before, it can be tricky to shift your mind in owner mindset ways. That's because this kind of thinking usually has to be modeled and taught.

What you're looking at are ads. You stop purchasing at higher levels to just see what's happening.

5) To understand what I'm saying regardless of whether it's affiliate marketing...MLM marketing...or just paid ads, spend a year doing nothing but looking at these things ----

* ad copy -- the simple sentences you see on magazine covers
* ad copy -- simple content you see appearing in articles
* ad copy -- store signs
* ad copy -- book titles and book reviews
* ad copy -- MLM flyers and other handouts
* ad copy -- affiliate online headlines

Are you seeing something appearing obviously?

All purchasing is emotional.

So don't get roped into the idea that affiliate marketing is different from MLM marketing...or standard business advertising.

IT'S ALL THE SAME THING

I'll prove it.

How does marketing essentially work?

* You put your image (photo) online
* Go into the social networks
* Pick up a free blogger.com blog and start writing about some subject that really gets your juices flowing (it has to be something that keeps you very excited day after day...and no...I'm not talking about sex).

Your topic could be clothing...or shoes...or a specific vitamin regimen designed to alter acidic PH levels in the body...

Or...refortify calcium levels...

Or...reduce aging and sun-spots...

Or...make yourself more attractive to the opposite (or same) sex...whichever may be your preference....

Or...cure toenail fungus.

The Point Is --

Human beings have needs based on immediate problems.

No matter how you package it, a solution can be re-designed and re-stated...

but it's all the same in the final end... people helping people.

WHAT ABOUT SPIRITUAL STUFF?

That's another topic for another day...but if you sat in your heart for any length of time...you would eventually see that much of what we think is real in this world is actually an illusion....save for true love.

That is a topic that can only be addressed from within. As far as I know, very few human beings know what this is as long as they motivate from egotistical levels. Even then, if you master the mindset connected to this audience, you can move true love.

I'll stop there. There's plenty of content to examine, process, and understand.

In the course of locating any of my blogs, you will find content varying. Reasons for this have more to do with speaking to the direct of needs of any given audience.

Because we are now in the year of 2012, you will find many interesting and powerful people speaking out in earnest.

The purest hearts seek to connect to you to show you your true power.

The main assumption governing all communications will be to mirror back your grandeur for purposes of helping you find your true power.

The key to making this world a better place is to grab hands, work together, pull in many ideas, and find the highest solutions. In so doing, we turn on the metaphoric light switch to create the best solutions for all.

Here's what you're looking for whenever you tap into any online resource:

When you locate any of my blogs, try not to get lost in the words. Focus on the essence of what I am sharing...
Look within for your highest answers
Focus on your most positive side
Be loving to yourself
Ask for highest guidance
Sit in your heart
Ask for very clear answers that you cannot misunderstand
Use careful discernment in all matters
Trust yourself

When you do these things, you will magnetize to you wonderful people. They now appear more online in an effort to bring forth the highest reality.

As in all things, I will never encourage you to work a billion or trillion dollar blueprint. Pick a level you can sustain, enjoy, and share.

Money is energy. If you misuse either, it will be taken from you...not by others but by your higher self.

Work together.

Know that any content you access over time is replaced by better content leveraging a higher consciousness. As humanity evolves, so do business and personal ethics.

Be in charge of your life. Know that you create your reality by holding a specific set of thoughts, and by taking "right-minded action".

Diligence and a strong, steady belief in yourself are everything.

If you don't feel worthy about one or many beliefs, persist until you find out what the most positive statements will be. HINT: Take your negative thoughts and restate them in positive terms.

Why You Want Your Own Website, 7 Primary Considerations

Welcome Home-Based Business Owners!

Today's post covers something fundamental to building your home-based business. Let's discuss why you want your own website and what it will mean to you as a business owner. In quick and very simple terms -- a website can translate into success. There are more ingredients involved in building and managing a successful site, but let's stick with the 7 main reasons why you need a website. This is another conclusion to prior posts covering details about why corporate websites aren't best for you.

1) Google loves it when you have your own thing.

A website is no different. You don't have to be a techno-wizard to build something even for free so in this post, I will talk about what you want to look out for when you use free site builders like blogger.com and wordpress.com before moving into small or even massive website building.

You can start playing with content in a niche of your interest and choice. Make certain that whatever you promote, you really love doing it.

* If you start with Blogger.com, keep in mind that Google owns this domain so any content you post here will not be exclusively owned by you UNLESS you later transfer your best content over to your eventual website.

NOTE: It's better to take action than to stall. You can always apply your efforts elsewhere, once you get your feet wet with blogger.

2) Google loves it when you have your own unique content.

Because content is the driving force for your business, it has the power to draw people to you based on some matched need. They want something you have that you will later offer. When content helps people today, it carries real weight.

Building your own blog as a mini-starter site is a great way to get your business going online because it gives you early power over your publishing. This is where you can build your following, but I will tell you that it takes patience and lots of work to see first results.

Many online businesses publish their own content because it's also a great way to connect to inquiring audiences, give Google what they want (unique content), and pave the way for what will later be your published website.

You want a following in place by the time you get your site running...because there are some smaller costs associated with maintaining a full website (hosting and domain name registration).

3) If you use a corporate website for an MLM or for an affiliate program (online), the day will come where you will want a customized site. This is true because you have full power over what appears and doesn't appear on that site.

If you use Wordpress.com (FREE)..., keep in mind that Wordpress owns this domain so any content you publish here falls under their ownership. That doesn't mean that you can't transfer your best content over to your later website.

4) You want to be careful not to hit people over the head with too many offers whenever you're using these two free sites because Google and Wordpress have the ability to cancel your account in the event you violate their publishing rules.

Be certain to read the terms and conditions of what you can and should not post over inside of blogger.com and wordpress.com. That way, you can still test early content, get your publishing feet wet, build a starter following, and later alter your articles to reflect your most current ideas (and know-how).

It is for these main reasons that you want to consider owning your own website. It is about positioning yourself as the sole authority, marketing freely generic products/services appearing under your name, and building a longer-term business. You can do this with your MLM as long as you don't violate trademarked services or mention specific product names. I've talked about this fact before.

5) It's easier to include links to affiliate products and MLM items on a website of your own when you write the content yourself. You can also hire people to write content for you, but whatever you do, you will first have to set up a general domain targeting the niche of your choice.

EXAMPLE:

Network Marketing With Barbara.com

That could be one domain name. It's general enough to keep your domain open so that you can place various products/services under that domain, but it's not so specific that you're only targeting a narrowly-focused niche showcasing only 1 or 2 products. That's one school of thought.

If you are new to online marketing, it's best to start with 1, 2, or 3 basic products for starters. If you're marketing your MLM, then you would place no more than these 3 items on your eventual website. That is another school of thought that works very well for beginners.

If you are using the free blogger or wordpress, you can talk about some of the things network marketers will want to read about like how to set up a winning presentation, or you could talk about how to get your own free conference line.

You can keep blogging content general, but remember to reserve and protect your most sensitive content for your website (self-hosted) because this is the place where you'll directly be paid.

6) WordPress.org

As I've mentioned WordPress in prior blog posts, WordPress.org is a popular blogging platform online marketers use today. The reason why that is true is because marketers of all types can get the ease of blogging but build business benefits from the look and feel of the website -- hosted under a private domain.

7) When you have the ability to publish content appearing online under your name, you have the ability to now generate your own following.

This is the biggest reason why corporate websites will NOT work in your favor. Corporate policy (whether it's network marketing or affiliate marketing) limit you to what you can and can't do. Most of the print you read on these sites is set. You might be able to alter your profile a little bit, but if you ever leave your MLM or major affiliate, you want the flexibility to include other products/services while carrying your list along with you. It stands to reason that you won't have the ability to add other things to a corporate site pre-determined for you.

The bottom line is this. It's ALWAYS in your best business interest to build your own following separately from what corporations do, and you can do that best by owning your own website. Besides, the top dogs do this so why shouldn't you?

Why Corporate Websites Aren't The Way To Go: 3 Follow-Up Insights

First off -- I'm thrilled you're here. There's nothing more profound than writing the ultimate truth about why you are already powerful. My job is to kindly mirror it back to you so you can realize what I SEE. I can do this because I spent 23 years guiding 6,000 senior instructors in the martial arts under my acting collar. So...yes...this is about masterful living while working your own business (lived on your own terms).

Secondly -- Companies are wonderful when you know precisely how to leverage their power, BUT...for the vast majority of wonderful people out there, they have no idea where to begin. I'll clarify.

Follow-Up Insight #1: Have you ever heard of affiliate marketing?

Here's what it is...and it fits into network marketing in ways you've not been taught.

You see...in your network marketing companies, you're taught to market THEM in very specific ways. This is fine if you're seasoned and you have your own large following..., BUT if you're absolutely new to the online world (or you're even new to the concept of MLM offline), you will most likely NOT know where to begin. It's even the same way if you're working as an employee for a company, and they're pushing you hard to build THEIR LIST.

And.., it's not your fault.

WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW WORKS AGAINST YOU

I will tell you more.

You see...aside from network marketing companies who do manufacture some astounding products, there are ...department stores that have affiliate marketing departments. What this means for you as a potential "work from home business owner" is that the world can be your oyster.

It can.

But...there is a learning curve. It's the learning curve that holds many people back, and naturally so.

It doesn't have to be that way.

With great love, care, research, and 5 years of my own intensive work, I have learned that you have more options at your fingertips.

FOLLOW-UP INSIGHT #2: YOU CAN ENTIRELY GET PAID RIGHT FROM HOME

People don't know that this reality is true if they haven't been taught how to properly harness technology. That's a major challenge for ...say...99% of people who even know how to basically use a computer. But..., the good news is that there are more tools online that can take the hassle out of creating a website! 5 years ago, it was a real struggle.

So if you adore your MLM products, you:

* can move MLM if you want...,
but you must have a solid system in place needed to build that organization and manage it
* can move products from almost any store that has it's own affiliate program
* can do a combination of both
* can pull in other paid strategies online
* can use various mediums to get the word out

I cite Facebook, videos, to name a few

BUT...,

That's why traditional corporate MLM websites and even regular firms managing their workforce from an under-utilized perspective are not necessarily operating with your success in mind. They serve themselves, have done so, and will always do so. Proof is now in the pudding as Americans are asked to look hard at the GDP (gross-domestic product and output). For every dollar we borrow to buy imports, we own less than .41 cents outright. That means that we're consuming more than we output as a nation...and other nations are not necessarily guaranteeing that they're going to reinvest fully in us -- China for one. Sure...China participates...but not at the level our government is asking (as I cite global agreements). This is today's news as our government is asking China to step up further to the plate. They're resisting..., you could say.

HERE'S MORE

If you head over to Commission Junction, just Google it. It's one of the largest affiliate networks online. This network moves tangible products...like things you can hold in your hands. There's Google Affiliate Network. There's Link Share. Pull in the power of these 3 major sites, and you're leveraging the power of these networks to advertise your site!

SEASONED MARKETERS KNOW

If you learn affiliate marketing...and some basic Internet marketing, plus toss in a blend of other marketing techniques you can later add to your websites, you'll make far more profits than if you were just working a corporate site for a very small commission! I cite the meager % MLM's and even some affiliates offer.

Never accept less than 65%. You're gonna work like the dickins to earn it!

But..in the event you're still not sure about what I'm saying here.

HERE'S MORE PROOF

See if you can Google one of your most favorite department stores. I work in one for weekly fun and for continued cash flow while I work the Internet marketing for my ultimate passion. I'm building an infrastructure to support greater business online and it's not going to be a nosebleed site. Think NETWORK of sites you own! So you could say that my ultimate passion fits into department store work...BUT NOT AT THE LEVEL YOU'VE TRADITIONALLY BEEN TAUGHT. Sure..I build the department store list (database)...but they don't even have the courage to pay employees what they're really worth! Databases generate millions a year. They won't even pay an associate $1.00 for every name they capture.

But..., Here's HOW you can become an affiliate...going beyond nosebleed commissions.

Think about ...Cabella's.

Chances are that they have their own affiliate program.

AFFILIATE MARKETING IS THIS

By pure definition, affiliate marketing means that you put up a site either in your own alias name (not your real name) or in a domain name that markets ...say..."cabella's for less".

The products that are not moved by traditional department store sales make it possible for marketers online to move reduced cost merchandise!

Did you know that?

It's taken me several years to really understand how this kind of marketing works.

BUT....,

FOLLOW-UP INSIGHT #3: YOU OWN THE SITE...AND YOU KEEP MOST COMMISSIONS

In affiliate marketing, all you have to do is drive traffic to your generic site showcasing Cabella's discount products for less. It sounds easier than it is. Whenever you're learning something new, it can be like pulling out your hair, one strand at a time.

BUT..., anything worth having means working for...and you're the one who can do it!

So in affiliate marketing, you become the source who connects people to what they're already looking for and ready to buy.

You get a bigger cut when you send traffic (inquiring minds) to your site. They read the content that gives them access to "product comparisons", "reviews"....and more.

It's simple content designed to connect the consumer to whatever they're looking for at a good cost AND to the store that would otherwise not move past season merchandise.

If the store isn't moving the merchandise, you're doing it through their systematic feeds. They sell some of the tools...like data packs (that help you get your site up and running and optimized by Google's standards). You find the traffic.

BEST PART IS

In some affiliate programs, you can get paid anywhere from 65% - 100% of the commissions!

Are you starting to see other possibilities?

I hope so. That's why I am here.

IF I CAN HELP HARD-WORKING PEOPLE GET WHAT THEY WANT FROM HOME....WHAT COULD BE SWEETER? So...yes...there are hard-working, honest, ethical people online training ahead of you to help you get where you want to go...because we know by NATURAL LAW...that if we do the right thing for all involved, everyone will be that much more profitable...sooner.

It is the honest-to-goodness truth.

How you know that I am telling you the ultimate truth is that your heart will remain open.

If I falsify ANY information, your chest will constrict.

So...I am here for profit. You are here for profit, and it SHOULD BE that way.

We don't just move affiliate products.

We layer our marketing to do much, much more. Never before in the history of mankind have we had such an opportunity! This is true because the Internet IS levelling the playing field for individuals...and yes...large companies are a bit nervous.

If corporations haven't served the public from the best of places, they know who they are. There are also companies who have done their level best to uphold the public good. They know who they are.

BUT...as New Economy business unfolds in this year of 2011..., there will come a time where companies not really helping individuals all too well will begin to feel the affects of their choices. I say this with care and respect.

It's the Law of the Land....Cause and Effect at Work.

Call it a time now fast approaching where individuals will have more choices available to them then ever before.

That's why your traditional network marketing companies aren't the hottest choice for you.

I'll explain a bit further.

You see..., if you haven't been shown how to build a small site and write content the public will be clamouring to read, it's gonna throw you for a loop.

That's because you have been trained to view life in specific ways...pretty much since childhood. What I'm suggesting here is that ALL of us have been trained to view life in certain ways...consistent with what large corporations have programmed into us... to ensure their high profits.

So...as individuals, if we don't ever question all that we've been raised with, we can't see the forest through the trees.

POWERFUL INDIVIDUALS QUESTION EVERYTHING

Now...I will NOT suggest that we're creating anarchy. That's not what New Economy business is about.

It's about....1) companies collaborating for greater market reach and profit..., 2) it's about companies getting real about training their people better..., and 3) it's about everyone profiting much more handsomely than ever before!

Think about it.

If you had the chance to level the playing field more honorably (where many people could benefit from their hard-work), and you cut out much of the greed-based decision making, what would that do to corporations?

Yup. It would have to mean that people on Capital Hill will have to stop running government the way they have -- which has been really crazy and representative of only the key players (who have the gold). Mark my word. The time will come where politicians will no longer be able to distort the content to fit corporate need. We're already seeing a shift along these lines.

So..., I"m sharing powerful, powerful information here with you to say that corporate decision-makers know what I'm saying. They're going to have to clean up their acts if they're going to transition into business another 50 years. They just don't teach what I'm saying here.

But..., if the playing field dropped just a bit (at CEO and upper executive levels)...in order to better serve the masses somewhat more completely...watch for it. It's going to have to happen if we're going to pay for our houses these next 20 years and beyond. So...yes...you'd see a drop in the profitable standard of living for the ones who've been at the top for so long that it's no longer even laughable. We have a very tiny percentage of MLM'ers who make obscene $$ every month...more than you could make in a lifetime..., and they're worried that their old business methods are working less and less.

You may not know it exists...but it does.

Billionaires know --- GET EVERYTHING FOR NOTHING!

They actively teach it. Yeah -- they give you gold watches for 20 years of service. They give you parking spots when you become employee of the month. They give you certificates for good performance..., and just once...I've asked even the multi-millionaires..."stop expecting people to give you the moon" when you should just pay individuals "only a little bit more". It's not going to kill these people!

But..., if they've been living largely in fear..., they're not going to let go of a foothold they've long held. They won't.

FOLLOW-UP ~~INSIGHT~~: BONUS

So they fear you learning what's needed to "BUILD YOUR OWN CLIENT LIST"...because you will no longer need to live your life according to their game plans.

I will apologize in advance if this post reads a bit too harsh. That's not what this is about.

I'm just saying...."Enough is enough!" "Slavery was abolished a long time ago, folks!"

IT'S YOUR TURN NOW

So...if you easily accept (and swallow) the corporate programming they've been jamming down our throats for a very long time, you will eventually begin to lift the blinders.

You will eventually begin to view life in a VERY different way.

The only reason why I can write this content is that I KNOW IT BY HEART...AND BY DIRECT EXPERIENCE.

I have learned in franchising...by operating my own martial arts school that the NATURAL LAW ALREADY SUPPORTS YOU!

That means...that if you take your power...and find the courage to become your own business force in the world, no company on Earth can prevent you from creating your success! They cannot.

This includes any department store that would not openly tell their associates about affiliate marketing.

Why Corporate Websites Aren't the Way To Go

Welcome Fellow Online Entrepreneurs,

Happy New Year, 2011 ! It's been sometime since my last post (September 2010). I have been publishing a lot of online marketing content assisting other aspiring business owners at the e-commerce level. In today's post, I'm going to talk about 2 things:

1) Why major corporations DO NOT share what they do.

2) Why corporate websites are NOT in your best interests as an online business owner (showcasing the company on their behalf...at your expense).

Let's start with point #1 -- Companies Not Sharing What They Have Long Mastered

I publish content like this every week inside of an Internet marketing university so I'd like to give you "insider secrets", and no...I don't cut/paste someone else's content. I write to you through my very own fingers with no other voices dictating what should have been shared long ago. We now move into 2011 and into 2012...where old leaders fear new ones (that would be you as a potential). So...by knowing what large companies do, you are better empowered to embrace your fears in favor of active, forward, successful movement.

Rule #1: Never Use the Corporate Site

I've hammered this concept into fellow MLM'ers I dearly love before. The corporate site does one thing.

It takes your money. That's about it. It's like a dead horse lying in the field unnoticed by traffic. I'll apologize if there are any horse lovers in this audience.   I'm only using a metaphor to describe what these sites do for you..., the hopeful entrepreneur online.

These are called self-replicating websites and there are a million of them out there. Ask yourself this Q..., if you're not sure what I'm suggesting.

If Google loves fresh, new content that's regularly updated..., appearing on websites that are varied and different to bring consumers exciting new ways of consuming whatever they need, then these sites are not the cat's meow. They don't even come close to delivering the uniqueness you need in order to get noticed. So why would you want to pay for a corporate website that will only appear in hundreds and hundreds of other distributor hands? Think along those lines and you'll be ready to learn more.

Self-Replicating Websites Are Like 100,000 Images of the Same Photo (Appearing Online)

Google gets this. So what Google does is rate your site only according to the value of the corporate site. If the main corporate site gets major traffic, your site will move traffic to that site anytime your prospects click on your site. You have just positioned the company unknowingly.

So... what these sites do...other than look the same from distributor to distributor is:

1) Again... showcase the corporation -- NOT YOUR E-BUSINESS...

2) Showcase the main players -- NOT YOU. It's their true loss but they refuse to look at you as a "future powerhouse in development"...

3) It showcases their products -- NOT YOURS...

4) When these sites involve your name in small, limited print, you're spending your hard-earned money promoting them. They get virtually FREE advertising If you write any articles publishing the company name, you have just moved prospects to their site.

So the goal here is to get you into the mindset CEO's maintain. CEO's DO NOT give their power away to anyone! Not a single soul.

YOU ARE YOUR OWN SPECIAL FORCE IN THE WORLD.

YOU DO NOT NEED A CORPORATE WEBSITE TO BUILD YOUR OWN CLIENT LIST.

Rule #2: Build Your Own List

I've hammered this point out many times. I hope it's coming out of peoples' ears because I really dislike seeing individuals rubbed out of profitable competition "simply because they cannot know" until the truth is fully told. That brings us to the point of --- WHY major corporations DO NOT share what they know.

Ask yourself --

"What's the most valuable stuff any business possesses"?

Wouldn't it be the contact list?

Okay. If you like that idea. Now fathom what would happen to your life if you could learn to build your own list without giving those names away to some other CEO sitting at the top of a major corporation?

Consider major department stores, for example. What's their "quiet secret"? It's proof sitting right in front of your very eyes every time you buy something from an online department store site. What's on that site besides....products? Isn't there a place for you to leave your contact information?

Yes. You've got it.

Here's the insider secret. Get ready. So if you're an individual coming online and you're sincerely willing to work for what is part of your own Divine Right (to health, wealth, and full life), who says you can't build your own list?

No one.

You got it. There's no law against any individual building their own contact list, and NO..., you don't have to get permission from any company to do this. As long as you stay neutral from naming specific branded products, you can market a product based on the merits that product will bring. Consider weight loss. If people like to lose weight before they get married or before they go to some 20 year reunion, they'll be interested in hearing what you have to offer.

So why would your major MLM say, "the distributor can't go online to promote their business"? Well...look at the fine print. They will tell you that you cannot directly name branded products/services or use trademarks. That's true, but what you can do (using all of your Constitutional Rights) is to market the bennies and offer the value. That's what any CEO will do.

So why does your MLM still object to you marketing yourself online?
They are deathly afraid you'll do what the few at the top have long done -- apply this marketing for yourself.

New Economy Awareness (2012 and Beyond) states, "All will be that much more profitable in the long run by collaborating and sharing industry secrets with other firms", (MBA, University of Phoenix, 2005).

Is it possible that major firms FEAR your success? Well..think about it. With every person showcasing their talents, there's a group of willing buyers for every person out there. And.., there's no shortage...but there is greed.

Ok. So enough has been said along those lines.

Now let's talk about WHY you would be powerful if you really learned what companies did behind "the scenes". AND..., yes...it is a secret.

A) You decided to build your own list

B) You decided to work that crummy job long enough to learn, invest in online learning, and then apply more

C) You'd probably become competition for the ones who should have taught what they knew worked but didn't.   It happens. These people are protecting their hill of beans because they are heavily invested in many losing so they can justify their solitary success (or worse....prove that their lives have true meaning).

I'm sorry this reads tough, but in order to get real and successfully active, we have to look at the dirt we've been sweeping under the carpet for too long.

D) As long as individuals DO NOT question what's being touted as "permissible"..., we silently give major profits away to a small percentage of very wealthy folks...while you continue to struggle. It DOES NOT have to be this way!

E) So what are you going to do differently in 2011?

Will you put off your changes another year? Will you reconsider what you've been doing (that hasn't been working)? Will you look for real and viable alternatives already serving those who've bridged the gap?

It's happening....and we're here online...waiting for you to make up your mind so you can actively join us.

Family Meeting True Family

Fly High With Eagles Instead of Being Pulled Down By Turkeys

I will tell you about something that is taking place, and it's happening at lightening speeds. People are not sure who to believe because information is changing so fast offline...and online too. Online -- you'll see websites carrying content dating back to 2005! Major industries rely on websites that don't even build their client lists! These pros don't necessarily know what's involved because they're still using snail mail and of course...they are busy running their businesses.

Current Content

Look for content that is being written NOW..in 2010 and 2011. Masters are emerging and they are demanding that many systems now change to include comprehensive marketing, thorough education, and something integrated we can use to more easily build our web work without killing ourselves over years and years of complicated coding.

Trends Toward Online Work, 21st Century Work

This trend is real.

I don't care how many people offline tell me, "You can't make a living online". There are 2 types of people who live online. The first type -- know you can build a sustainable business online because they're already doing it..., and the second type haven't proved the first hypothesis is true yet...(which is theory for those in the 1st group). They are MLM'ers, affiliates, and hybrid marketers (who do both).

The trend now is that companies are saving $$ by moving employees back into the home environment
Individuals are working from home because they want to spend time with family
They're tired of long communtes
They're wondering who in the heck they're working for now
They're tired of feeling "disenfranchised" (meaning they don't know where they belong within the company)
They want more out of life in terms of the things they can actively create
When you create, you love your work!

The Masses

Long-term unemployed people are 45% in number
50% are educated and are still searching for work
Uneducated people are struggling in major ways
If we are employed, some are underpaid
Some are overpaid and they represent a very slim minority who gave themselves bonus payouts at times where the public was feeling skinned alive. Yup. Wall Street and the bankers really messed up because they didn't care...but what the hay...they skimmed our investments right down to the bone ...not just for 1 or 2 years...but easily for 10.

There Is Good News

The good news is -- if you think along straight business lines, then we're no longer gambling on "unpredictable financiers". Wouldn't it make sense to take matters into your own hands.

Would you consider pulling in some online marketing? That means that there's major opportunity available for you online, if you want to consider it.

You're Online -- Now You See A Ton of Sites

So a lot of people are searching. They're searching for solutions and they are feeling overwhelmed. Now I'll offer you a review to tell you how you may protect yourself. A lot of marketers "scare you to death" and then "promise to fix your problem". I'm not suggesting it has to be this way because these marketers know that if they can get your heart pumping and your emotions charged, you'll run for your wallet. But...ask yourself...is that really what I need right now?

Internet Gurus

These folks are adept at asking you to buy every slice of cheese available in the cheese and dairy case. You will go much further by finding out what's really needed...as you take a bit of time to see what's out there. Please... put your $$ and credit cards in your safety deposit box, in the meantime. Put it where it's going to take time to get to it, so you can be sure before you make some wild-eyed purchase hoping it will get you to the moon.

I can tell you -- by getting everything housed under one roof, you will fare better online.

Find a system or a blueprint that's proven..., seek out the most qualified people to help. If you're searching for your magic beans by trusting a guru, again...I am in touch with marketers who are just plain, honest, caring people. We support a "No Guru, Guru" Mantra. Take heed. I've studied more websites online than I'd care to admit... and you truly don't need to do this. If you are willing to invest a small, affordable sum in your marketing education, you will fare much better. I am not saying you should join a traditional university program only expanding on what came before. Yeah -- they're doing this even at the MBA level. Universities -- WE WANT TO KNOW HOW TO DIRECTLY CREATE A LIVING OURSELVES. We don't want more theory, and we don't want to be dependent another 35 years on a company spending our promised savings.

21st Century Work -- Part Of An Ongoing Shift

Now...if you're still here reading these messages, I will apologize in the event I've stepped on some bankers toes. I'll do the same if I put a dent in an investment planner's system. This is not an "us" VS. "you" thing. This is about taking back our power.

So if you are one of us who have moments where you feel as if you're living in quicksand, Americans are facing major changes at all work levels. I'm not talking about "end-of-the-world" stuff. Companies have automated, and individuals need to take care of number #1 before our gov't spends our tax $$ elsewhere.

Our Information Age means we'll all have to switch gears, and we (you) can address your dread of change by telling yourself daily, "I am capable of abundant change"...and "I now go beyond my fears and limitations"... and "I now move beyond the fears and limitations of others". Things will begin to settle and make more sense as you pull in new learning and lots of help. Those who I am connecting to online are part of the supportive system. They believe in you and they are here to genuinely help without feeding you baloney.

Never run out of help!

2012 Approaching

Old times talk about unhappy things. I say...forget gloomy, doomy days. The pulpit bangers have been doing this since the dawn of mankind, and we're tired of seeing the old "end of the world" date shift.

There is good change coming.

If we're moving slowly, OK.

For some, that means they must now look at things in a different light
For others, that means altering the way they live life...
And for others...it means facing radically new change...
Please keep telling yourself that any change you choose to face will be very positive change... and you will experience that reality without any injury to you, your family, or your friends -- it will be!
Stay away from negative people
Remain as independent as you possibly can
If you're searching for online work to do magic for you, there's no secret spell or incantation
There's no substitute for you applying yourself or caring for others.

What I Know, Firsthand

You're looking for a system that will deliver more of the time than not.

Watch Out For Lofty Promises

When new people come online searching for something, that run into the deluge of gurus who tell you that you're missing out on something when, in fact, you are not. They scare you into thinking that one thing is true...when it is not. They ask you to buy X, Y, and Z...when all you really need is an honest assessment.

True marketers put themselves out there first
They give to you before they collect from you
They offer content mixed in with many products/services..and that content has to be of big help to you. (I cite one of my personal mentors who spent $70,000 online hoping to find his big break. The break came when he stopped buying everything guru's threw at him..., and when he began to study people like Dan Kennedy and Perry Marshall, his success took shape. It did not happen until he took his own direction.
The same will happen to you if you are dedicated to your success...and you help others succeed
This power has always been a part of you and it resides from within
No one can activate this power for you.., only you can do it.

Online, Showcase Your Name

You do not need to spend $3,000 - $5,000 to get what is already yours. You need a domain name (mydomainname.com) for $12/year...the costs have risen on that end...and domain hosting (web hosting..for about $8 - 12/month). Inside of your web host, you will find major solutions

Trend Toward Online Work Increases

We have a deluge of people coming online, and they want part-time or full-time work. I recommend you avoid the "Nigerian Bank Scam" or filling out surveys...or even shopping for pay, as fun as it sounds.

The Powerhouses Now In Training --

Actively Assisting One Another

1) Network marketers who want a better way

2) People who want to do something else

3) Affiliate marketers...

4) Professionals who are tired of the 80-hour week grind...

5) Franchise owners who are beat -- I did that and have the old shirt.

1 Out of 2,000

1 out of 2,000 people will actually do something.

If you are here..., you are most likely the 1 in 2,000 who wants a business that will last, but you may not know that trial and error is unnecessary. That's where you want a system that will show you how to place your name online, find people who want what you offer, and so on.

Google, The Major Search Engine

Google demands we educate ourselves further, and it's naturally pushing marketers hard.

To Grow A Massive Enterprise

Your blueprint must span the Internet, and it will involve massive action.

You're looking for predefined targets so that you can work your way into a new reality. You do not need to hit those targets every single day because there are up's and down's in business... as sure as there are changes in seasons.

Beware of the Biz Opp

If you add a business opportunity to your web presence, Google will shut you down.

You must pull in other ways of advertising yourself without coming across in that way. One way is to pull in your Free blogger.com account. It is a start and it keeps you independent when you market MLM + affiliates, or one or the other. I've talked about this step in many of my prior posts.

Blogger gives you the chance to link your blog to other blogs, thereby building your web work.

When you are actively seeking marketers you want to join in trust and in active unison (without any baloney), look for the ones who are actively growing on a regular basis. These are the ones who will provide group and individual guidance. Whew! That was a lot to say. I know you've gotten this jist! We're looking forward to meeting you very soon. And..., maybe you are...but what you get are ZERO organizational results using that method.

Barbara here. I'd like to offer some interesting news. No matter what you're experiencing, hang in there. Stay tuned to this blog for more updates.

Home-Based Business Is Lagging

The news I'm sharing here may be along lines you already know. Whenever you have other industries lagging, a few willl lead but the vast majority will follow the major trend. Here's why. Whenever there's an economic downturn that happens twice in a row, it takes time to rebuild an economy. Since the 1930's, there have been 3 double-dip recessions.

What's happening in the U.S. economy looks worse than it actually is.or in the very least, many of us are feeling the same way -- when are things going to finally stabilize? Good question. Well.... we are in the middle of a profound SHIFT. By that much said, I mean to suggest that the way we do things is being scrutinized.

Those who haven't been as honest as they should be are getting pounded. And..yes...old industry is rearing it's head because it refuses to make the changes the public demands. It's as if we have some weird old industry entitlement mindset prevailing. Let's just call it human ego run-a-muck.

As a result, the gatekeepers (bankers and regulators) were scratching their backsides..., and we've hit a double-dip recession.

U.S. companies are sitting on $1.3 Trillion in cash assets and they're not hiring, despite gov't pleas.

That's tough news for a lot of very good people.

But guess what's happening online?

There are a few types of revolutions unfolding. It's good news, but you have to know where to look.

People are buying tangible goods.

People are paying for "pet goodies of all types".

They're not traveling as much as they did even a few years ago.

THE SHIFT IS HERE

#1) You have a clash between old and newer business mindsets, and sure... it's very real. I've talked about this before. It's so old we've beaten the dead horse to death. Apologies to horse lovers. I'm one of them, but I'm just using a metaphor here.

#2) You have more individuals who are no longer willing to "work for less". Heck -- why should they?

There are people are in need of work that will bring them a far better outcome. For some -- that means operating their own business. For others -- maybe it means striking a compromise between older and newer world values. That's ok too.

#3) We have more companies outsourcing to countries other than hiring people within the U.S.

Is it a flaw in U.S. economic and political thinking? Maybe so. Maybe not.., or maybe it's a combination of endless factors. The reality is that we had a lot of wealth in 2008. Many of us are watching our 401K's dip down further. Some are doing ok and haven't been impacted. Many have no safety nets.

BUT...there are industries that are raking in a lot of gold! You have to think oppositely to what most people are doing. They're not spending as much as they did going back to 2008. They are regrouping assets, and they're reducing their debt as they can..., when they can.

#4) We have more people hopping online, and they're looking for legitimate business opportunities.

I will tell you that it's getting hot in this Internet kitchen. We've had a lot of people online take advantage of newcomers, and they should have known better. That's ok. Google shut them down -- 100,000 and still going as far as I can tell. I'll tell you more so read on.

There are legitimate business opportunities. You just have to know where to find them. I'll give you a hint. You won't find them in the newspapers. You will attract them to you! If you consider yourself a willing, steady, honest person with very high integrity, then there are opportunities awaiting you online. I will tell you what some of them are NOT.

Forget the Loser Opportunities

I'll give you a rundown of specific businesses I've evaluate these past 4 years, consistently.

* Forget quick fixes -- they take your $$ and give nothing back.

* Watch out for gov't scams claiming to offer new businesses loans. Unless you're directly in contact with the Small Business Administration (SBA), many gov't agencies have hit big reductions in fed'l funding.

* Remember -- If something is too good to be true, it's usually connected to a scam.

* Forget "fast overnight cash websites". Whether it's MLM or affiliate marketing, be careful. Many claim to be what they are not.

* Forget filling out online surveys.

They do one thing -- take your $35 and you'll never see it again.

* Forget ponzie schemes. If you're not sure what this is -- just think about Wall Street's last fiasco dating back to September 2008.

* Forget gifting programs of any kind.

* Forget gambling or playing the lotto unless maybe you want a one-time, cheap Friday thrill.

* Watch out for MLM's who are NOT billion dollar companies -- if you choose to work any.

Some of these companies are altering their payout plans when the big guys retire. Some aren't delivering what they originally promised. Some do deliver. Find out who they are, if you can.

* Watch out for online gurus claiming to have the next best thing. If they did, they wouldn't be selling their cruddy products. About 50% of the time, these products/services are junk.

* Consider Internet marketing education. Yes -- it is = to a 4-year university degree..., but stay tuned for more information forthcoming. Best of all -- you can work your mlm online harnessing this education...and NO -- you're not working for a company unless you really want to. In that case, then have at it. At least you're in the driver's seat.

To Pull in 21st Century Marketing, Work On Teams

Welcome Back Fellow Home-Based Business Owners!

Today's post is a repeat of yesterday because I'm expanding on the need to alter the way in which we often think. I'll stary by talking about the Internet. From there, we'll move into reprogrammed thinking (in positive directions giving you what you want most out of life).

So as you know, the Internet has hugely altered the way we conduct business. In prior times, we didn't have access to information the way we do now. I'd like you to think in "instant fingertip publishing directions". This part is key and it totally relates to your success, no matter what others say.

We see in public sectors..., a lot of tension appearing as the result of companies perhaps not listening to what consumers are saying. And..., we see gov't officials who still "somehow have their heads in la-la land"...even when we tell them, "We want this". Well..., let me clarify something very important for you. It may shed more light on what's happening these days.

Did you know that if you FOCUS YOUR ATTENTION ON WHAT'S WORKING, YOU'LL GET JUST THAT? Let me explain further. What you focus on attracts more of that very thing. So..., the old vanguard is not about "me VS. you or them". It's about recognizing the light and dark thoughts we humans think.

Now separate yourself from you for a moment and indulge me in this exercise. I'm going to show you how you can see that your thoughts contribute to a larger reality impacting us all. If you focus on what does not work and you consistently do that, well then.., you live in a very harsh reality. You get precisely that result.

What would happen IF --

People worked together in real trust and through clear intention to achieve a common goal!!! It means that they would have to actively tell each other what they want most, repeatedly if necessary until it clearly sinks in.

If you like what I'm saying, read on.

This blog is about attracting people to each other so that they will work well together. Beginning to see why this blog exists? It's not just taking up space.

I've give you proof. There's a network of 10,000 people online working together in one active forum, but you can't seem them because you don't know they exist until someone tells you otherwise. Well, now you know.

Drop the individual differences we usually emphasize, and know that we're more alike than different. Then..., REFOCUS ON WHAT WORKS MORE OF THE TIME. When you do this, you activate the LAW OF ATTRACTION AND CONNECTEDNESS DIFFERENTLY (AND MORE EFFICIENTLY).

"What you think, you realize". And..., it happening within a period of hours and minutes now.

If you feel -- life has to include hard work to get what you want most, it will yield that result -- HARD WORK for no pay!!

Instead, change your underlying thoughts to include the idea that a happier reality exists and is free to appear simply because it makes sense. Then pull in the "I'm already worth it" saying but don't doubt what you just put out there. Then ALLOW.

Still want more proof?

Ok. Think about the Laws of Attraction some more. If you can accept the idea that the Universe mirrors back to you the thoughts you hold as true, then you get that reality as the direct result. Kinda tricky, isn't it? It sure is! But.., no matter how you look at something, please pay close attention to the thoughts you hold during any given day.

Then...segment your thoughts into "snipet-it's of living".

Take your first segment. It happens when you first wake up. Chances are -- if you step away from what you've been thinking as it result to "the old mental tapes from days gone by replayed", it's old news. And.., it really doesn't have to apply to today. Those thoughts may be connected to what someone should have done but didn't.

Now..., stop yourself.

Ask yourself, "Would I really be happier if that other person did what I thought they should do"...to then be happy?

No.

You can be happy regardless of what that other person is doing. Just alter your thoughts.

Here's how.

When you find that you're thinking a negative thought. Stop. Refocus on something fun. Now notice how you feel immediately. Chances are -- as soon as you altered your thinking in reverse (for the better), you probably started feeling better.

Well it's the same way in the Universe. It gives you precisely what you think.

This laws applies to other people too. You can create your reality, but no one can create it for you. In a team setting, you can co-create together by spoken and unspoken agreement. In many team settings, they usually go through a lot of difficulty because they didn't specify what they wanted...or if they did, some team member who wasn't going to deliver did just that -- didn't deliver. That's ok. There's always more waiting in the wings to join you. Sift and sort and go through the numbers until you get precisely what you're after.

When you are all thinking in the direction of a specific outcome (such as everyone getting paid for work they love doing), you will get that result. But, you must communicate that intention to people on your team over and over again until they can recite it moving forwards, backwards, and in-between. Write your individual and group team intentions down on paper and look at them daily.

Then.., to attract people who value doing the same, the intention of this blog is to ATTRACT people who want to earn money readily without killing themselves over that work, and then the goal is to give BACK to people the things they say they want most -- it would include tools, skills and knowledge that will make the happy end result appear (solid pay, time off best spent with family, plus a team that's highly functional, motivated, and willing to do what's necessary to build that solid business). That's the intention spelled out in fine print. If you find at any time that your team is "forgetting", tell them again in fine print. E-mail is great for that purpose.

To get specifically what you want, you must communicate specifically what you want. So..., if you're after profits in 1 and 2 years, you must state in print... "In one and two year's time, I will have a very profitable and sustainable business I can enjoy." Or..., if you believe you can do it sooner in less than half the time, then restate your intentions to reflect those beliefs. Just keep working in those directions.

Pull in enthusiasm and great spirit. Always work to help the other guy/gal get what they need, and also work on your behalf. Try not to create for the other person the things they're already creating. Sometimes, for some people, it means NOT doing their work for them. You can guide them and offer alternatives, but in the final end, it's up to them to tackle what's needed.

Balance the need to support yourself with what the others need too.

NOTE: As soon as you set forth your intention, you must be careful not to spend too much (if any) time spent in negative thought (self-doubt, disgust, frustration, judgment, or impatience). Those are negative realities that attract more of those specific end results....pushing people away to yield exactly what you're thinking.

If you find that your mind is wandering along those lines, distract your mind immediately. Stop that thinking. Then..., refocus in positive directions. Stay positive in your thoughts, your actions, and in your wording. Keep it going daily, weekly, and monthly.

Then.., see what happens. You should notice that you'll start attracting positive people who will do the right thing at all times, they'll be in the game not only for themselves but for others, and they'll create the success the entire team desires.

I will stop there because it can take at least 4 months to catch yourself in these thought modes.

The goal is to create new, 21st-century "mad marketers" (not being mad but working like mad to make it happen without doubt or question)... in an effort to create those who know what they're doing 5,000% of the time. There is NO trial and error if you get the right stuff in your hands. And.., it's available for far less than you think. Business and marketing whether it's MLM... or affiliate marketing (online) IS absolutely about giving you specific concrete actions you can take NOW without wondering, "where in the heck is this stuff going to take me"?

My promise to you is to put you in the driver's seat where you edit your content, you own your own website, you build your own list, and you own your own list!!! Forget the sponsor in your MLM. He/she may be the greatest thing since sliced bread cause some of these folks are my very best friends online, but I highly doubt that this person offline is the true "sponsor" this word suggests...UNLESS they specifically teach you what they are precisely doing. If so -- hats off to those folks because they are blessings! But.., more commonly than not, most sponsors face heavy pressure to build their downlines so you will essentially have to find other alternatives. Getting off that rant cause this is about you.

Let's get back to where you actually live.

Nowadays, add technology to the mix. Please think along those lines.

It doesn't matter where you live as long as you have 3 things:

1) A computer with fast Internet connectivity

2) A sincere willingness to learn proven marketing

3) Fingers that do the typing.

It Starts With Proper Education

You'll like this. You don't need an English degree! Can you cut/paste and reword? Anyone can do this.

Furthermore, here's the true reality. MLM's have massively miffed people off so they're now coming online! Small wonder.

I'm working with people all the time telling them, "Don't hit yourself over the head for having had these troubles because there are so many of us who've been there"..."The key thing is to move onto happier times ahead" and let the other folks alone.

I'm not saying all of this to stir up trouble. Truly not .... because I believe all human beings are designed to live life fully and completely -- without tremendous worries and hassles. Right? Absolutely. There's a reason why some folks are afraid of 2012 and what it could involve. They know that the power is shifting! It's moving back into the hands of those who will do the right thing at all times, even when it temporarily means they're "building business that will pay". And we're not talking nickel and dime paychecks.

How do you know I'm speaking an ultimate truth?

I speak to you from my heart. And...no.... there hasn't been ANY cutting or pasting...or using software to "find articles I can publish fast".

In any given moment as we're visiting here with each other, your success boils down to a few things:

1) being so passionate about what you do that you can't sleep at night

...but, I recommend that you take good care of yourself because you'll need everything you have and more.

2) getting solid, accurate, powerful information so that you'll be so greatly valuable to people that they won't be able to sleep at night

...because they too are moving forward, experiencing real, sustainable growth (and success)...just because they're building real businesses from home that they can truly enjoy.

You Know This Content Is Real Because

It's about time. We don't need more leaders "telling people what they think they want to hear".

It's time to restore balance to many powers.

Feel the emotions in your gut and heart. No matter how silly these works may appear, anytime you constrict in your gut, your most powerful self is saying to you, "Maybe this content IS NOT meant for me". That's what you'll feel if ANYONE feeds you baloney. Feel your gut emotion. Listen to your heart. It cannot lie.

If you feel open, relaxed, and maybe even safe and peaceful, I'm am telling you the absolute business truth as I know marketing best -- at any given point in time. The Internet is changing so we have constant updates happening everytime the major search engines alter their algorithms (affecting how people search for information online).

My job will always involve telling you "what works" and "doesn't work".

I won't have you running all over the place to "hand out fliers and DVD's"...unless they are your own.., copywrited with your own content and advertised under your name"!!! That's actually a good thing but it takes most of us time to reach that goal (advanced marketing).

HERE IS WHAT YOU MUST DO

1) Get a domain name of your own and get web hosting.

(I'm not going to give you a domain registrar or hosting service yet until you know "How to get the right domain". Getting the right one gets you indexed fast. Getting the wrong one puts in on page 10,000 where you'll never be seen...so please stay tuned. I'm writing accurate content as fast my fingers can do the typing.

Do I Need A Website Of My Own?

Ok. Here's the thing. I have addressed this in prior posts..., but NO..., you don't have to own a website to start off with! You can pull in things others have already created..., but PLEASE..., before you buy anything, leave your comments here. There's so much out there that you don't need -- it's a terrible game online. I have 29 blogs scattered throughout the net designed to do one thing -- PROTECT CONSUMERS. Some are more complete than others, and some are still developing. Soon, I will have 1 website pulling it all together so ...again...stay tuned for that link.

NOTE: Please DO NOT pay for an MLM self-replicating website. I did this twice and had nothing to show for it until I got smart and picked up the right education ...like getting my own domain and web host...(Internet marketing).

AND BONUS: Get a FREE blogger account here and start your own web presence. It's blogger.com.

2) Then..., decide what you're marketing

If you're not sure, a TON of people online are marketing MLM, affiliate marketing, and more do both.

Please know that it's very common to not know which direction to take.

Again.., I have stuff in the works to answer all beginning online marketing questions but have a few work-arounds to tackle before it's all integrated (so it works for you).

SHIFTING GEARS

I will let you in on a BIG secret.

The most powerful people online don't set foot outside of their homes!! i''ve talked about this in prior posts so you don't have to search through archives. And.., they're powerful. They're working quietly at home while their neighbors are twittling their fingers, worrying about when they'll hit the "layoff, pink slip list". Forget that. That's why this blog is here -- to give people credible options and legitimate business plans.

Furthermore, the folks on the net are ALL website owners. They build their own lists. They don't give names they have away to companies offering double-talk. When these site owners ever walk into an MLM, (and it's pretty rare nowadays), they scare networking top dogs because ....1) they know what the public demands..., and 2) they're wiling to deliver (like...maybe that a private website we've all been screaming about for about a decade now). Always give the public what they demand or they'll just go elsewhere..., but you won't know why you're "bleeding bottom line losses". I say this carefully so that you'll give people what they need to succeed...so that you'll STAY IN PROFIT.

So For Good-Hearted Folks Such As Yourself

Pick one direction and work it until it's working smoothly.

Work in a team setting.

If you don't know what that direction must be for full success, stay tuned. Submit your questions. Yes. You can do that here and you'll get a concrete answer.

HINT: You don't have to work alone.

HINT: Ask for help but don't be shy.

HINT: Please do not assume that because you are a seasoned MLM player that you know what Internet commerce is all about -- UNLESS you are moving your own product at your own level. Then if so, congratulations!!! This is a different beast than what you're accustomed to tackling. If you've had any Internet marketing at all and you've still hit brick walls, you haven't been given the TOTAL truth. Then.., if that's true, please stay tuned. My content is designed to tackle beginner, intermediate, advanced, and product creation levels.

I'll let you in on another secret.

You know the "fear" that's been spread about not trusting people online? It's a ploy. That's fear coming from people "who haven't yet tried to get the information online"...or it's fear related to "not yet coming online and most likely won't"..., or it's fear related to "why you shouldn't"...or it's fear about pay-per-click advertising". Let's kill the fear related to the last challenge. I will certify people in pay-per-click one day. It's happening already. For now, I'm certifying..., but you set a budget daily and you control that budget daily..., and you never go over your daily allotted amounts. That's logic. So look at the fear by filling that fear in with logic. Stay tuned more along those lines. What's coming forth is really big.

Another secret -- those who succeed online work with one another and boy do they work.

Guess how we're working? We're working to help one another! Novel concept. We don't cross-recruit one another though because we don't have to.

HINT: Put the numbers in your favor so that you don't have to cross-recruit. It's not necessary.

Subtle Differences Between You and MLM Millionaires

Welcome Back Fellow MLM Folks!

Today's post talks about the subtle differences between you and your top MLM Millionaires.

Subtle Point #1)

They have sincere enthusiasm. The are tops at what they do.

You just need a booster shot offered from proven realms.

Find those who have hit their real mark. I'm talking about someone who absolutely already knows how to honestly generate a million. I am not talking about someone who lies through their teeth by "suggesting they've done it while they charge their lives on credit". HINT: The "real deal" is very quiet because that person is busy working to get the needed know-how and to attract huge numbers of people willing to learn and apply. It is a sorting game.

HINT: These people learn to operate under the radar. They are NOT the ones standing on stage.

Subtle Point #2)

They have very developed skills. You can actually acquire these skills.

Subtle Point #3)

They get accurate knowledge. You can get it but be prepared to work for it. Don't expect to learn it over night and don't expect to get it by purchasing that experience. You have to acquire specific skills by "learning and applying directly".

Subtle Point #4)

These top producers invest in themselves to hire certified and/or mastered expertise. They don't rely on FREE. Remember, there is a big cost for using FREE. You lose time, money, effort, family togetherness..., and lost opportunity (missing those who have done well because they get the skills others need and demand). By going through "paid doorways", you access the real experts.

HINT: You won't find this person working online from his/her parent's dusty basement room.

Real story -- I met a gal a few years back at an MLM corporate meeting. I was there with another traditionalist who actually "did make some monthly income". She was standing on-stage. I was sitting in the audience.  Afterwards... I was introduced to her, but at that time, I had just finished 2 years of grinding graduate business schooling, 20 hour days, 6 days/week research...and sure, I was a bit proud.

She asked me what I was doing? My answer -- direct response marketing, but I just finished an MBA to add additional support to this marketing endeavor. I figured that people would want more from me.

Her claim to fame? She said that she had earned her "MLM MBA the hard way" through the school of hard MLM knocks. Sure -- formal education isn't everything and no one likes to be a perceived "smarty pants braineac"...(...and...I would hope I don't seem this way). So...I figured..."hang loose..., listen and watch". She talked about "going here and going there..., flying all over the country-side...,contacting 11 people/week on her list...but while she was onstage, she mistakenly mentioned that "she wasn't religious about doing this on a daily basis". Hmmm. RED FLAG.   My thought was -- "Where does one find the time to fly everywhere cause I've been busy working..., figuring out what people want, need and will pay for"?? So I hope this gives you a few clearer clues.

The ones who are top producers will tell you they work like dogs. They're spending huge amounts of time prospecting, forming relationships, putting themselves out there first by offering rich content ...and more. And yes.., they're spending decent amounts of cash building themselves for others!

So...when you're sitting in a crowd somewhere and you're not feeling the greatest, don't take anything that you see "as real". You can use your eyes to look at physical appearances, and while you can't judge a book by its cover, just let your common sense be your guide.

What do your top producers look like? Are they driving smoke, spewin' cars? Probably not.

In this story, the point is not to say that one marketer is better than another. I am saying -- "get the best information you can get".

After that meeting, I was feeling a bit low so I called up one of my marketing coaches and trusted friends. I asked, "what's up with that scene"? He remained quiet because his intent was "not to bash anyone" but to suggest -- "Stay focused and keep working. More will make sense as you apply". He was correct.

Biggest Point Of All

My most substantial point about any marketing is -- if someone who claims to be a "top success" and your intuition tells you otherwise, your first impression is more likely "right on".

HINT: There are others out there who can help. These people are not always visible. You can find them online, but they must have an old domain that's at least a few years old. Otherwise, you're still finding people who are piecing things together.

You can become the hunted AND it won't have to cost you as much as you'd think.

EX: Stair step your way into help. You won't get these pros for FREE because they're paying out some real blood, sweat, tears, equity and personal money to acquire their expertise too. These people will be top producers but they won't be buying into MLM qualification (spending $500/month to do it).

If you have a small amount you can afford for personal marketing education, this is a very good start. It's like any business you initiate. There will be some early costs involved. And.., you don't have to buy corporate advertising stuff. You don't have to pay $10,000 up front. If something is important, you will find a way.

What I did -- I gradually paid out (over time) the smaller increments so that I could hire the true pro's. Watch 'em for a while. Let them show you what they can offer.   Make sure that you're getting quality information. Head to the phones at night ... many nights/week. Take weekends off to spend with family. If you're working on your marketing...take 1 full day off/week. Take your holidays off.  Ask a ton of questions. Bug them. E-mail them. Call them..., but stay on that dinner list with family and friends.

Hit High Marks

Above all, aim high. Aim at a precise target. Be proud of yourself, but kindly don't pass along "junk". Get the best information you can possibly afford. Master it...and share it. Go for the top, top producers. If you hop online, you can check them out. These marketers should have a good history, not one that's riddled with underground, black hat marketing... -- translation -- taking other peoples' commissions under-handedly). These people eventually get shut down by the major search engines (Google and Yahoo).

Subtle Point #5)

Master these things: the written word, harness techology, develop some skills that pay, and consider incorporating the Internet.

Sure, the Internet is not an "end-all-be-all", but it sure beats belly-to-belly marketing!

Social Networks Are Great UNTIL

One of the greatest services you can offer as an "ethical marketer" is to protect individual rights online. Sure -- we all like the social networks. It's what helps us connect and identify to those we'd like to work with most.

Facebook, MySpace And Other Social Site Activity

Social sites are great until "Facebook, MySpace and various social sites started sharing names, user IDs, and other information sufficient to enable ad companies such as Google's owned DoubleClick to identify distinct user profiles", (Wall Street Journal, May 24, 2010). Word in cyberspace reports, "Facebook has now stopped this practice". You'd think their 27 yr. old hoodie wearing CEO would bolster site security and stop this practice..., but being a multi-millionaire eccentric never prevented anyone from doing the right thing.

Let's kill the promise you heard when you enrolled in your very first MLM.

We were all told we could, "Work From Home".

I'm here to tell you again..and again..and again...it can happen !! It can be profitable in ways you'd never imagine, but you're going to work for it. There are no shortcuts.

Start By Tackling Your Success But Get Real

I know you know this part intuitively so play along with me.  If you're going to make true progress, you have to get honest...real honest, and stop justifying everything. It gets you nowhere. Once you do this, you can then formulate real alternatives taking you somewhere. This is assigment #1 I explain further at the end of this post.
Let's assume you had no success in your MLM..., or worse, you put in a lot of time, effort and money into your business and you're reaping limited results. Yeah -- you're even standing on stage and you're not getting the results the 1% "other guys/gals" are getting. There are reasons for this reality, but they're not your fault. You've done what they asked you to do with zest.

Ok. So maybe you found that you can build an "ok residual" using the methods they taught you ...and..., you'd still like to get your hands on the blueprint delivering what it promises.

Hint:  You must identify your true self and then eventually market ONLY yourself. Sure..., you can use your name everywhere on business cards and websites galore, but what makes you valuable is your leadership.

Solution #1 --

Don't even pay $35 for the chance to fill out surveys for money online. Those are scams.

Solution #2 --

Avoid hands off marketing systems and stay away from any greed-based opportunities you see when
you enter "Work From Home Online".  Those programs do one thing. They take your $$, but you can't even get a return on it.

Solution #3 --

More people spend their hard-earned $$ buying everything your upline or your company tell you to buy. Don't, no matter how hard they press you.

Truth is -- I've talked about this before -- the ones who are "seemingly ahead" of you in your company are the ones who still haven't figured out what a million dollar template entails ! So..yes... we have the blind leading the blind...., most of the time. In a few rare cases, we have exceptions to the rule.

Solution # 4 --

Don't market everything under the sun written by someone other than yourself. Sure -- you don't have to reinvent the wheel, but you DO have to put your name on it.

Cite it, publish it, UTube it, advertise it offline too, but just use your name. That's it! Take the time to do it. You'll be glad you did.

Solution #5 --

Wrap your hands around a information that makes good, honest business sense. Does it make sense on the front end? Does it make sense on the back end? If not, leave it behind. It wasn't meant for you.

Whatever you choose -- that information has to meet those 2 primary ingredients....on the front end and on the back end. There is nothing misleading at all. Full disclosure is one golden pathway to your success.

When you find this information you're looking for, ask yourself -- "Will it be something many others want and pay for? That's also key because some systems that worked 20 years ago aren't working so well today..., no matter how much others "talk it up".

All informational systems require periodic updates to reflect changing times.

If the information you're following dates back to Methusela, you're in trouble. You'll most likely get "medieval" results...or worse, you'll be laughed out of court.

So... find information that works for you (and countless others) more of the time than not. If you find information that "dead ends"..., chances are that this help hasn't yet incorporated the changes people are demanding. That realization helped me hugely.

If the information or system(s) you've been using haven't been working well, find out precisely why.   Do it even though everyone else around you says, "NO", that's a red flag. Use your common sense.

This finding will put real answers into your hands. The ones who say "NO" are afraid of 2 things -- 1) they'll lose you...and worse, 2) they'll lose your business.

Then.., find out who you are even when you're standing in huge opposition. So..yes..., find your true self separately from whatever your ego tells you ...like...I gotta make money NOW at all cost...even at the expense of others. Don't. In the end, you're hitting another dead end and you're not acting in alignment with highest reasons (which actually give you what you desire most -- a solid reality).

You want to create a business you can sustain.

Then.., find a system that teaches you what's absolutely needed to make a strong go of it in business. It should match your true self. Take as much time as you need. When you do that, pair that system up with true marketing education and guess what will happen?

You'll be unstoppable.

Forget Self-Replicating Websites

Ok. I've talked about this problem before. Ask yourself, "Should I still use my corporate website"? It appears to give me everything I need to work a profitable business".

Look for these 2 things:

1) Does the website help you build your list or the MLM's?

If it's the company, you can't carry this list with you no matter what others tell you. The company owns the list.

2) You want a system that will position you.

I will admit that I bought many things under the MLM sun and got very poor results -- 5 companies total.

This part is important.

YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE. Again.., that's your ego's way of "puttin on a big show", but it's not who you are.   And..., the people who told you this in one way or the other are often lost in their stories.

Don't flier parking lots.

Don't pass out fliers to people in malls.

Your business success is a human process.

So..., ask yourself this question. If you've gotten everything you "supposedly needed in your MLM" like hands off marketing systems or opportunity-seeking leads saying "NO" to you, then ask -- ""Why am I still struggling?"  I'm asking this question to help you move beyond what's keeping you stuck. Hang onto your hat. Are you sitting down?

Solution #6 --

You've been positioning everyone BUT yourself.

When you do this, you lose credibility (even when you're a true powerhouse). Beginning to see a bigger picture? I hope so. That's why I'm here -- to make a real difference in the lives of others. So you wouldn't be the first one who made this mistake because we've all been there.

What Top Guns Do Without Fail

Here's what top brass do, company after company...and they're cleaning up big time. They adore showing up for work -- or better -- working from home...and even better working on the go (cuz they can write off their vacations during a few hours of work! Man. This is what business should be -- in a NOW AGE.

The smartest ones eventually get the resources, education and skills (mostly this part) to place their stamp of approval on anything they move. Why? A lot of humans like to follow the leader. It feels safe.

Here's something you've figured out if you're seasoned.

Being a True Leader Means Breaking New Ground

Being a true leader means breaking new ground. Now..., here's where things get interesting. When you're first launching your business, sure, you have to promote other peoples' products. That goes without saying...., offline or online. That's just how it is.

Over time, as you obtain more mastery and working capital to keep your business afloat, you should be striking out on your own. The world needs you.

You don't have to be a millionaire to do this. You don't. You have to be motivated, willing to continually learn and then apply what you're learning. That much is true.

For Seasoned Players

Now...,  fast forward into the future.

Let's say you didn't get what I was saying in this post...and 3 years later, you find out that your head is still touching the glass ceiling. And.., let's say that you can't seem make that breakthrough and you've even gone so far as to hop into the social networks. Do you know when it all happens?

It's not because you're doing what "they're telling you to do".

It's not because you're buying everything under the sun.

HINT: Use paid advertising in small slices and pair up that effort with free advertising ! Bingo. Learn "how to create and move traffic".

Then..., apply your natural drive and determination (for the right reasons) to honestly improve peoples' lives significantly and profoundly (first including your own).

You have to include "right-minded action". That means, in every situation, you must always do what's best for the other person. It's Universal Law.

Your Success Appears When

You act regularly. Let go of outcomes. Share information sincerely. Motivate for others and self, in delicate balance. Then.., find a way to put your true essence out into the world because others want it and demand it. Again.., it is that simple.

It takes time and processing your human side to figure out what these hints includes and don't include..., but if you focus on finding out who who you are aside from your ego, your true self will attract solutions, people and more to you!

When you know beyond all doubt who you are -- you will attract and retain people who mirror similiar attributes back to you. That's when business IS profound.

Ok. This part is what I promised you at the beginning.  I'd like you to spend 20 minutes of time to seriously addressing this task. I'm going to give you an assignment...and there's no pass or fail.

This is something designed to make your life clearer so that you can take the action that will change everything for the better.

Assignment #1

If you're going to move from point A to point B, you've got to get clear about what you intend to do so that you can align your greatest talents, skills and assets with clear-minded actions and right-minded thinking.

No -- you don't have to dial through cold calls.

I want you to list the things you've been doing that have been holding you back. List things like:

1) buying everything under the sun without using common sense
2) not questioning matters -- hint -- instead...you can use your local library for free
3) not seeking alternative resources
4) stop passing out samples
5) stop passing out DVD's and fliers designed to do only 1 thing -- position the company
6) hitting up family and friends
7) chasing anyone with a pulse who might happen to listen to my pitch
8) fill out your contact information in confidence to get my insider's newsletter

where I talk about more. Only those appearing on my list get the advanced stuff doing only one thing and one thing only -- positioning only you as the expert!

Mastering the Law of Attraction For Fabulous Business, Cont'd

Welcome Back Fellow Network Marketers...

and Home-Based Business Experts too! May this day find you healthy and productive.

This blog post is dedicated to Timothy, a fellow associate marketer.

One of the biggest questions I hear from fellow network marketers is, "How do I get into profit fast"?

In all matters, there's no secret trick other than focusing your efforts consistently. When you do this, you will accelerate towards an outcome. If you move in directions of what you want most -- like profit -- you will draw people, events, information, and systems to you!

The biggest part is implementation on a daily basis by taking direct action, no matter how small. When you first start out in anything, you'll blunder and stop. If you want something greatly enough (such as working from home or working for yourself), you'll get there. Again...the more intensively and smartly you work, the more focused you become, the faster you will see this new reality emerge. You can't be afraid of it because it is something that you directly create, believe it or not. Enter The Law of Attraction, continued because here's where it fits in best.

Law of Attraction Is the Law of Love At Highest Levels

What happens when you consistently hold a thought and then follow that thought up with right-minded action? By right-mindedness, I'm talking about doing what's best for all concerned.

What you get is something precious. It's you in a new but in a far and more developed form.

It doesn't matter what you're marketing. People will want you. So..., you must use your highest truth and your greatest sensibility to attract active people to you. You will have to sift and sort. You will have to release, connect, and reconnect. You will have to work with some for a little while, and eventually you'll find the 'real team'.

I call this Masterminding. Sure.., players come and go, but the real team forms as they stand the test of time. These players help one another so that the ball keeps rolling whether you're sick or well. These people mirror back to you the things that you cherish and value the most -- your grandeur, appearing in the form of steady, daily energy. So if you take your energy and translate it into product or service moved, you get profit. Money is energy and that success will always leave a trail of evidence. That's when your business will really take off.

Would profits involve finding a system?

Sure. You can absolutely find a system that will propell you forward. I cite -- picking up the skills to speak to people well..., finding out what to say while saying it best. Above all, you have to fuel that system with positive (not negative)energy. Positive energy draws proactive people to you. Negative energy pushes them away from you. You're then left with finding a solid way to speak to the masses using many communication mediums. Makes sense? Or..., is it still clear as mud?

Don't worry.

You have many opportunities to view my posts and you don't even have to hit the archives. In all posts, I offer nuggets of success. I incorporate all aspects of mastered business residing at the highest levels of life. I don't just talk about being a millionaire, I show you how you must BE to build millionaire wealth. Sharing this knowledge off the top of my head because this is what I inherently know and have done. RULE 1 -- you do become a servant of the public. RULE 2 -- you don't hold onto outcomes. RULE 3 -- you never push a decision. RULE 4 -- you hold the other person's needs in mind. RULE 5 -- you raise the consciousness of those who are willing. So..hang on some more with me.

I'm here to tell you that your success involves many aspects involving your "sum totality". I am speaking in spiritual terms here, but I am also speaking in real life, profitable terms. People are drawn to you because of your inherent power. It's not a draw because you're marketing X, Y, or Z. Clearly explained, you are the sum total of many parts including: your history, your successes, your failures, your gains, and your relationships. Above all -- your relationships account for much of your success if you're willing to give and take, help and ask, implement and learn, share and accept, grow and nurture, instruct and follow. It's a combination of all of these things -- applied using many elements.

Here's something important. Human beings are multi-dimensional. They require input and steady aid. They are complex but free-willed. So...yes...your relationships matter.

Here's something that took me a while to really know. You can't hit a target by working alone, i.e. the residuals or building a business you will enjoy. You also can't grow if you're doing everything by yourself.

Leverage everything and everyone around you.

Now, I've noticed a lot lately that many people think success means making a fast buck. Well..only if you want to be a "flash-in-the-pan". Success never has and never include a fast gain just because human beings function best whenever we form lasting relationships (with them). That's a given.

What about using laws like the Laws of Attraction to create this successful reality? YES. Note the big yes.

You'll have to spend a fair amount of time meeting people: social networks are one way (Twitter, UTube, MySpace, Facebook, Linked-In), and paid means are another if we reference the Internet. If you're working your business offline, it's going to take you years to grow your client base. But.., think about what happens if you harness the power of the Internet? Notice how the old systems have been plodding along, resistant to new methods of communication forming? Consider publishing, for example. Publishing by it's very nature once involved only those who passed some stringent test we'll call "the publishing houses". Not so today. Truth-be-told, online publishing doesn't have to cost you money. It costs you time and effort but it doesn't cost you a dime.

Again...enter Internet.

That's where the Law of Attraction comes in handy.

Here's why. You'll need to put the numbers in your favor and you've got to find several ways of attracting other people.

You must follow the golden rule at all times, even when no one is looking.

If you put negative energy out there, like attracts like.

If you put positive energy out there, like attracts like.

Never take shortcuts by saying this at the risk of sounding too repetitious. In many of my posts, you must never short anyone out of their hard-earned money.

Now here's the neat part. When you put yourself 'out there'..., just as I am doing here, do it consistently. Do it daily and weekly. Never mind whether or not people find you TODAY. Do it because you love people and you truly want to help, and do it because you know that they (and you) are worth millions today. This reality has nothing to do with the size of your wallet. Your money doesn't define you, but it can sustain you.

Keep publishing. Keep sharing information.., and people will slowly trickle in. Pretty soon, you'll set off an avalanche you can't even handle. It's good to be busy!

I'll share more by quoting Rhonda Byrne. She says it best and better than I can say it now. "Love is the highest power we possess..., (working)in complete harmony with the law of attraction". Okay -- this isn't a 3-Dog Night show, but read on. "The more love we feel, the greater our power will be. The more selfless about love we (are and feel), the more unfathomable our power."

Here's what many don't know or embed. You have to feel this stuff in your tissues and you have to breathe it daily. Rhonda adds, "The law of attraction has been called the law of love, because the law itself is a gift of love to humanity. It is the law by which we can create incredible lives for ourselves. The more love we feel this love, the greater our power is to create a magnificent life of love, joy, and harmony."

Perhaps you're saying, "but how does that get me paid, how does it keep me qualified, and how does it pay my electric bill?"

Good question.

If you're going to build an organization of your own, the living masters have long confirmed that you won't do it on emptiness. You also won't sustain that downline long if you can't develop and sustain your relationships. That's because..., once you find a system that delivers consistent profits (hint)..., you'll need the Law of Attraction to draw the real powerhouses to you.

Trust me. If you take action, this will happen. There's no doubt about it.

Q & A For MLM'ers

I'd like to address a big concern many network marketers face when growing a downline.

Q & A For MLM'ers

Some ask me, "So if only half of my downline has a personalized website, what do I do for the other half?"

I'm going to tell you two things:

Self-replicated (corporate) websites do one thing and one thing only for your MLM.

1) They position an upline
2) They edify the company

(Bonus) --

3) Oh yes. They make the company big money.

That's pretty much it.

Think about it.

If you've got the same "players" (who look mighty good onstage) appearing over and over again in some flashy, printed magazine, what will that do for you and your business?

Probably not much.

You see -- when it comes to moving any product, service or even your business opportunity (not that I recommend you start out by doing this), it's all about one thing.

Customers, whether they are suspects or prospects, want one thing and one thing only. They want to you, and they want to be like you.

So what do people care about if they haven't belonged to an MLM (or worse, they've belonged to 3, 4 or 5)..., and you're fast approaching them?

They only care about what's in it for themselves.

So...lead with your product and tell them what's beneficial if they consume your flagship product.

And...forget the replicated corporate websites. That only burns a hole in your wallet.

That's it.

MLM Script & Owning Your Presentation

Welcome Back Fellow MLM'ers,

Today, I bring you a second post that's very important.

First, I talk about the use of a proper prospecting script and tell you specifically why it is so important,...

Second, then I bring you a FREEBIE. This freebie is attached to creating your own presentation.

You see..., when you're starting out, you don't need heavy, starter costs.

You do need time to formulate business plan you can live by (like what kind of a business entity will you become: Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) or an S-Corporation or a C-Corporation..., where will you principally conduct business (your office or basement), and what do you need to set up your business without going broke? It's basic things like that.

Well -- it's no different when you're planning your earliest messages. You need to find a way to bring people to you...instead of chasing them.

And..., this is the part that stumped me a decade ago. You need to know HOW to talk to people.

What I mean by that is, you need:

A) A Solid Prospecting Script

If you're entirely new to MLM and you really didn't get a chance to build any MLM recruiting skills, that's okay.

A script does a few things for you: 1) it keeps your communication very smooth, 2) it allows you to specifically measure precisely how well you're talking to people from person-to-person...,and 3) it's something you can use to develop your own targeted message.

You want a script that will only talk to a certain group of targeted people. Forget about addressing the entire world. In business, 1% is the target average for any audience, regardless of whatever the product or service will be.

B) You Need Your Own Presentation Call

C) You Need A Way To Record Your Call

Let's Get Down To Brass Tacks..., Chances Are:

* you have scripts already
* the scripted message doesn't position YOU
* these scripts position the company or some big whig 'other than yourself'

If you don't have any scripts in hand, see if you can't get your hands on some corporate material you can roughly adapt...say... from a fellow MLM buddy. You need to be able to basically modify that script, telling people who and what you're basically about.

EX:

Hi..., I'm so-and-so calling you from my home office. Is this a good time to visit with you for a few moments? Well...I see you're like me, a fellow joint pain sufferer. I've been an athlete most of my adult life, and I can say that not being able to take care of my children or grandchildren very well isn't very fun. That's why I've come across something so amazing that you'll never guess how easily I was able to replace my regular joint cremes or joint meds for less than a cup of tea per day. Your script could read something like that.

Then your script has to draw them further into your message to do a few additional things.

In your script, you want to avoid things that:

1) Position anyone other than yourself

Just take out the name of the person the corporate office put there.

2) Send prospects away from you

If you see a corporate number listed in your script, just take it out.

You want to include your contact information, number, and place where you can be reached.

3) You want to tell people about one prime benefit your product or service will do.

Is it credit relief?

Or..., it is relief from those joint aches?

Could it be paying less for travel?

Pick a main benefit people will really want to know more about, but stick with one benefit to keep things simple. That way, you're not giving away too much information and you're not losing your audience.

This benefit (not to be confused with product features) must address a current pain or need.

Then Include --

4) A.I.D.A:

Your script must include A.I.D.A. in order to work.

It must...grab their attention...long enough for you to figure out whether they would qualify for your product/service...

And..,

It must hold their interest long enough for you to give them a next step --like going to a recorded or live call. That way, you can stimulate their interest to move them into decision.

This decision would involve getting some type of commmittment from them such as joining you in a corporate presentation where they would meet you there for product exposure ONLY so that you can close them on the deal.

Warning -- Only take yourself to a corporate presentation when you have a prospect accompanying you. That's the only real purpose for using this approach. Otherwise, skip these meetings. You really don't need them if you're especially interested in the idea that you can move online.

Warning -- Don't lead with the opportunity because more prospects have been lost that way, and don't turn your prospect over to an upline. Just give that prospect time to experience your products, and let him/her choose from there. If they use the product for 6 months and they find that they're crazy about its usage, then they may approach you on the business opportunity. At that time, you're then armed.

Be sure to tell your prospect what they can reasonably expect to receive benefit-wise when they look at and purchase your offering.

Your script is sort of the same thing. It should inspire a decision to head...say...your recorded presentation call! Yes..., I'm not kidding here. Hang tight until the end of this post and I'll give you a FREEBIE as thanks for giving me your precious time.

This presentation should tell the prospect how they can cleary obtain more information about this amazing chance to heal ...say ...joint pain, and it should mention how they can get back in touch with you to start 'joint pain relief' today.

Make your call memorable by encouraging that prospect to follow up with you now because you're only taking the first 5 callers who call you back. You see?

And..., if that prospect happens to be the 4th or 5th final caller, you'll toss in a free 30-minute consultation. You've just added some FREE incentive for that person to take action with you.

Avoiding Scams Online -- Consumer Fraud

From time-to-time, I post reviews on various products and services most related to MLM business-building.

I post commentaries addressing all aspects of business most related to building a long-term, successful, sustainable MLM business.

As part of that ongoing effort, you can never be too careful about building relationships. Always be picky about who you ultimately trust.

Rule 1: Whenever it comes to making any business decision, never make an impulsive one. Time IS on your side, even if you are ever made to feel as if it is not.

Rule 2: Always conduct your research online before joining any new MLM. Some companies are great. Others are not. I will post more along these lines -- what to look for in choosing the best MLM for you.

To satisfy rule 2 today, I found a link that may be of interest to you.

I will always try to refer you to advocacy-based sites which aim to protect your rights as a consumer. Sometimes links are not always as they seem, but in all matters, look for information that sensibly empowers you (i.e. LEGAL Internet marketing information, staying independent online, and and more).

I will always tell you the ultimate business truth as I know it best, at any given point in time. This is stated with care because the Internet is always changing. I've talked about this fact in prior posts, but I will always add more.

What worked well (and ethically well) two years ago may not work as well, today. This is true because MLM's must keep up with changing times. This is true of any business, online or offline. More so, I would site -- Google worked so differently five years ago than it does today...thinking about pay-per-click advertising (displaying your business ad online).

Gratitude -- The Golden Master Key

Have you ever met someone who wanted to learn from you but they carried a clenched fist? It happens. We give our best but the match doesn't work for whatever reason.

Here's the thing. If you're open to others offering their best, one of the things you must do is reach out for help. Do it with an open heart and mind. And.., if you can, do it with courage. You don't have to agree with everything someone is imparting, but you can obtain a greal deal of helpful information by sifting and sorting through that information. This is true because you are a unique individual and the world has a special place for you. Your challenge is to find your highest truth in the information others would share.

That brings us to this thought...,

You Have the Power To Create Anything You Want

There is a Law I've talked about in prior posts. It's the Law of Attraction. Sure..., you've most likely read about this law before, but here's the master key. To bring this law into full force and effect, it carries an energy. The thoughts you hold on a daily basis carry their own effect.

Like attracts like.

Practice thinking and feeling and saying the word 'thank you' as often as you can on a daily basis. No matter what you're moving through, use this word often. Feel the word and emanate gratitude from your very core. This power is what draws other to you. Then..., blend thank you and the feeling of gratitude with love. Others will begin to appear because they'll want to feel what you know.

Gratitude is powerful. It has a way of magnetizing people, events and information to you.

If we go back to the analogy where any person who walks through life carrying a clenched fist, that person is NOT receptive.

And.., if you were the one who could deliver even a sliver of powerful information to that person, would you want to approach him/her standing near you presenting only closed fists? Of course not.

One could say that the Universe operates in the same way. I'll take this law one step further.

If you're busy being angry rather than receptive, why should Spirit bring you information you'll only reject? I say this with care.

So the very words 'thank you' have a way of opening those fists even if you're one who'd like to keep them closed. I'm speaking from personal experience so you can know that we're standing together wanting something more.

Here's the Tough Part People Can't Always See

You have been given the ability to create the life you want through the use of that natural law called attraction. It basically states that you're worthy of receiving anything your heart can conjur or desire.

This Law Is Unlimited

The law of attraction is unlimited. Did you know that you can't put a limit on energy? Think of this law along those lines...where the energy is unlimited.

Perhaps it's time to challenge your inner-most thoughts.

After all, thoughts come from beliefs and beliefs sculpt an outer reality.

If you imagine that this law really does exist, "...Make a promise to yourself that during 2010, it will be the year where you'll take the brakes off your thinking and your imagination, ...believing that everything is possible", (Byrne, R, 2010).

In prior posts, I talk about the Law of Connectedness. This is the law some masters forget to consider or learn more about because this law is usually under-taught. It's the law that helps you put the Law Of Attraction into play. Stay tuned. I'll offer more in the days and weeks that follow!

Welcome Back Fellow MLM'ers and Affiliates,

You've heard it said that, 'Several heads are always better than one'. Here's part 2, and I'll share some interesting facts with you. If you'd like to check out part 1 of this article, it's an earlier post published minutes before this post. Just scroll down for that article because it preps you for this content.

The New Breed Marketer

Shifting gears a bit from the many heads which are better than one -- I call you guys 'the new breed of hybrid-marketers'. That's because those who are learning Internet marketing techniques now will eventually make the 'old hats' look like the 'horse-and-buggy generation'. I say this much with care and respect because the old hats anchored us long enough to grow into who we are now. So.., our earlier predecessors are to be honored and thanked. They are still very important to the evolutionary changes new marketers will face.

In part 1..., I talked about putting yourself in the F16 instead of using a horse-and-buggy marketing system, but those differences are appearing more often because the Internet is still advancing. It is changing the way we access and buy information, services, and goods.

Now Some Say the Internet Is Not An 'End All Be All'

Some say that the Internet is not all 'end all be all'. Well... from a face-to-face standpoint, there's no comparison in business. That's your most powerful close with any individual, but comparatively speaking, the Internet can involve massive exposure within a relatively small amount of time. One may obtain major exposure if this tool is properly harnessed. That's a key ingredient. You have to know what you're doing.

Then add a few tricks of the Internet trade to bolster your numbers and you've got someone calling you up for 'a radio interview'. This kind of an occurrence might take years if you use a face-to-face approach, not to mention how much money you'd have to dole out if you had paid for massive offline advertising...newspaper print, radio, or even a TV spot. Anyway, what's the radio these days? It's fast becoming 'an old shoe' if you get into MP3's, IPod's, streaming videos, or even UTube. But.., let's get back to the skinny at hand.

New Breed MLM'ers And Affiliates Create Their Own Leads

Taking you behind the 'quiet scene', there are marketers who are working 24/7. Some work 6 and 7 days a week. I'm not saying you have to do this. I am saying that you'll need to at least apply yourself during your first few years because the learning curve is significant.

We're here to tell you that --

* New Breed MLM'ers and affiliates generate his/her own leads without the use of a downline.

What? Is that correct? I'm sure you're blinking your eyes to recheck the print. It's true.

The downline...whether they exist or not is less of an issue when it comes to attracting people to a business. it's about flow, content, delivery, availability, consistency, and quality. And no.., I'm not talking about using some crazy hands-off lead generation system producing leads who have no interest in what you'd have to say.

You New Breed MLM'er And Affiliate Can :

* Sculpt their own messages using the written word...,

* They can find people who are already 'in the mood to buy'...,

* They can move these folks to the feeding frenzy...,

* And they are working quietly....right from the convenience called home.

Sounds too good to be true?

It's real..

It takes work. It takes consistent, dedicated, kick-your-rump everyday work. This work doesn't come cheaply. You have to either invest your own time, outsource the work, or tackle a combination of both.

Will These New Breed MLM'ers Be Powerful?

So would these New Breed MLM'ers be powerful? Heck yeah.

What about the affiliates now appearing? If these folks 'hang in there long enough' to build a decent skillset (like the MLM'ers), they'll pound some offliners. No kidding. There will be no comparison to 'old' VS. 'new'. The old won't know what happened and if you're one of them wondering why business is dwindling, it's not because these people are stealing your business. Please consider..., this information is meant to help and advance those who'd like to propel themselves forward. It's not about one group dominating 'or winning' against the other because let's be honest, things haven't been working the same way they once did.

However..., this New Breed marketer has been going about their online marketing in similiar ways that affiliate marketers do. They're studying the marketing. They're connecting the dots. Breaking Down Marketing Into Basics

If you break marketing online or offline..., the skillset you deliver will have to be more sophisticated than it has been. People don't want old information and they don't want junk. The proof is in the pudding. We have a ton of MLM'ers and affiliate marketers hopping online everyday looking for some magic fix. The truth is that their real fix will appear when they stay focused in their work.

This New Breed Is Using An Infrastructure, Breaking Marketing Down Into Discrete Components

Consider -- if you could break down your marketing into basic components...published and hosted online, you would have to find a way to assess a prospect's/client's true needs, listen to their changing needs/wants/desires, then look for effective ways to deliver on their demand. If you did that through systematic means, what would happen? For one -- you wouldn't have to work a 15-hour day. Eventually you could work a shorter day, but the marketers who use systematic means will have exponential results.
Using Social Circles To Test Content

Our New Breed MLM'ers test the social circles to check for 'fit' and 'alignment'. Many are seeing 'that the social circles form a testing ground' for information which must be evolving, but they're surmizing that some paid advertising will be a good way to proceed in business. Now..., if you're someone who's starting out fresh with a very small to a very tight budget, then you're looking at quality networks delivering on an informational need, firsthand. That's how you get from step A to B...., from networking to generating qualified, quality leads.

Here's What's Really Impressive

So the hybrid marketer is very amazing. These folks in number are facing big challenges. That's because the Internet isn't operating the same way it did back in 2002. There were some folks who did pretty well back in 2004, but by 2005, we had a fair number of entrepreneurs quit the Google network. They then went to smaller search engines for more affordable advertising.

The New Breed Marketer Has To Be More Sophisticated

You can't offer hot air on your calls when you're sponsoring your people. You've got to offer solid content, helping others build their skills. If you're a superaffiliate, the excellence with which you deliver that content determines how extensive the downline (or organized affiliate force) will be.

The new breed MLM'er (or affiliate) has a bigger wall to scale than marketers of early 2000 did. Marketers who put up their 'wares' during 2002 - 2006 didn't necessarily have to possess an extensive skillset. Some put up banners called ads, and then they began to drive that 'traffic' to a few smaller, specialized sites. Then...bam. They made sales. I'm kicking myself to this day because I saw it then, but I didn't yet realize how significant the Internet would become.

The Time of Easy Online Money Has Long Passed

So thinking about those happy Internet times where a few people made a lot of money..., or in the very least, did it with far less skill is over. Everyone is hopping online, and they're hitting the social networks hard (Facebook, MySpace, Linked-In, and more), but it's not enough. They're killing themselves in the midst of the 'noise'.

The trick is to head in directions where others are not. This is very important. Try to remember this point because it's going to help you solve your biggest marketing challenges.

Saavy Ones Pay For Advertising

If this news isn't happy for you right now, it's a reality. This is the fastest way to go from zero to multiple thousands in less than 3 years, but you can't do that on a zero budget. You have to start small and then build. Saavy ones pay for advertising, but they build the skillset BEFORE going live. It's necessary to spare unnecessary losses online. So you've got some stiff competition ahead of you..., said with care. This is not meant to discourage you but to give you genuine insights as to what you might additionally address.

It's A Big World In Cyberspace

It's big in cyberspace, and we need a ton of marketers who will move their wares. Companies are tripping over affiliates by setting aside annual advertising budgets. They do so because they can't get enough help. They need saavy people who will find the niche market they haven't yet dominated. I've talked about these basic realities in prior posts so I apologize if this information is a bit redundant. It's meant to show you that there's room in the pond for more successful people!

Sharing A Story For Further Insight

Let's shift gears a bit by talking about my post, "Several heads are better than one, part 1". If you think about going back to kids who 'knew how to advance' with much less effort by joining specialized circles designed to meet their highest needs, I'll take you back to a nephew who's in the Navy. My nephew was an underachiever during his earlier years, but apparently he's a a very smart cookie.

Think Back To Your Earliest School Days

Do you remember when you were in school? Think way back -- think about those times where you were first learning to read, write, and tally the math. Did you ever notice the little groups' called 'enrichment circles'? These were inner-circle kids who especially needed 'a bit more' challenge. My nephew is in one of those people. When I heard that news, I thought to myself.. hey.. I'm in a group like that too!

You Don't Have To Be Special To Join -- You Have to Be Motivated

Here's what scared me when I first hopped online: I read, 'You've got to be very motivated'. It's not that I wasn't ever motivated. It's just that when I first read these words, they scared me to death. That's because I had no information in my hands yet tangible or structured. I didn't know how to get the current information I could trust simply because my network was so new.

So If You Don't Have A Network

What do you do if you don't yet have a network? Here's what I discovered. If you're willing to apply yourself, the inner circles already exist. That's the good news. The key is to find the one network that fits your needs. That means -- if you like the idea of becoming an elite person (should that be one goal), you're looking for an exclusive network that will give you completely accurate information. That way you can become the master of your life. If you want to start simple, you start with general information and you won't yet have to be the 'best of the best'. You just have to enjoy helping people.

It Takes A Dedicated, Willing Spirit

In short, working alongside others who are highly-motivated but who also strive for excellence is what's required. If some of these people like to use the word FAILURE..., that's their reference point.

Move Beyond The Word 'Failure' To Move Beyond All Limitations

This information is meant to empower you. Let's tackle the word 'failure' in an effort to remove a major stumbling block... for a lot of marketers. Personally speaking, it should be kicked out of the Webster dictionary and our English language, but it you view failure as one of two things -- consider that it could be an illusion. If you think about the school kids who joined the inner circle of greater challenge, it wasn't because they had anything over you. They worked and worked and worked. I talk about this inner circle in part 1 of this article.

Furthermore..,

Consider that because your steps forward (and backward) happen to every entrepreneur, one could view positive and negative results as real signs of progress. That is true online because the work that you do now works for you later on. Results online grow with time as you put yourself in different social space, in blogs, on websites and more. You don't have to be a techno geek to get this stuff down..., but your forward and backward movements might be better viewed as cobblestones building your success.

Setbacks are indications that your brain is processing new skills while you're growing. You're digesting and filling in more gaps. When you do that consistently, the magic begins to happen. People start contacting you...so that you'll be sorting and sifting to get to your true audience. When that happens, it's a good indication that you're evolving. And..., as you grow, your business will grow. That's always been true for any entrepreneur...., online or offline.

Play With The 'Failure' Illusion Further To Test Your Progress

If you totally believe in failure, that's okay. What works for one person may not necessarily work for another, but if you like to think that failure is not an option, then that belief serves you. Kindly keep in mind that when you're motivated, stay motivated. When you hit frustration, pull back, process...and give yourself time to figure out what's missing. If you have fear, that's only an indication that you require more information to fill a void. When you fill the void with solid information, the fear will dissipate (subside).

Find The Network Where There's Heavy Involvement

In order to hit your progressive (kick-rump) stride, consider a network where you can readily and easily compare findings with others. This business approach will accelerate your learning and save your life. You've heard it before -- 'Don't reinvent the wheel'. Apply the Age of Information now. Don't reinvent the Internet or the marketing which has repeatedly worked (and will continue to work) online. Too many people have lost their businesses that way.

Massive Involvement Means Massive Exposure For You

That brings us to the community involvement part...at massive levels, once you find this network. So what would happen if you could access a community of multiple hundreds... or better...'thousands of individuals' who all have the same common goal, achieving a high level of success? Call this modern day think tank an 'island of light'. That's the kind of group you start with.

Over time, you're pushing towards the inner circle. When you do this over a period of months and years, this kind of an involvement brings joys you couldn't formerly anticipate. It happens when you're actively involved, working and creating...putting yourself out there ahead of time. Within the network, you're not necessarily spending a lot of money on a monthly basis..., but you are proactive about your learning.

When you hit your brick walls, people will be there to help. You'll have to reach out frequently. You'll hit your stride as you continue to keep your work going strong. Then that's when things will begin to happen because you'll be using the Law of Connectedness and Interaction, pulling in The Law of Cause And Effect. You're not just waiting for things to happen, but you will be reaching out to others to see how you can help them. In return, they'll help you.

What An Inner Marketing Circle Does

This Inner marketing circle is known by some as millionaire mind. There's also a billionaire mindset, but these mindsets are important for your success because if you could step into the mind of a genuine millionaire, that person thinks in very proactive ways. He/she is always looking for better ways to help themselves/others. These people constantly assess what works and what doesn't work, but they tend to dump methods that don't work most of the time in favor of those that do.
In more elite circles, very elite inner circles appear when there are a number of highly-successful affiliates available. In MLM circles, these people are highly-skilled, and they've evolved their marketing know-how beyond what most usually imagine. These guys/gals make some of their other MLM'ers sound a bit disorganized, but that's only because these people have been students for longer periods of time and they have paid their dues. That's the only difference. These powerhouses have mastered their speech while they guide large groups, but they will educate people beyond what most typically know.

We Are --

* focused on building successful businesses using the Internet
* constantly raising the bar
* working together to push the limits to hit new 'zeniths'
* each day..., new ideas are flowing through a network of individuals dedicated to high achievement.

These networks of striving individuals...again... aim for high levels of success while teaching new people the 'tricks of the trade'.

So going back to the grade school analogy, you most likely learned to share knowledge and to work in groups because you then readily figured out that 'two brains were definitely more powerful than one'. The real key is to get to the advanced knowledge. This information puts you in the top 2%..., or better.

When You Finally Grew Up

Then..., when you finally grew up, you discovered that you'd like to keep all of that knowledge to yourself. Sure.., you'd like to excel ahead of the others by achieving success faster than those people but is that approach really in your highest interest (let alone all others?) Our economic reality is a direct reflection of that kind of thinking. Ask yourself -- what would happen if you spread your golden know-how? Wouldn't you then raise an army fit for a King? It has been long stated that the real master of life never made the journey alone. So naturally you can surmize that 'a thousand brains are better than one'?

So in my group, people succeed each and every day. "Success" is a daily thing. It's continually redefined by the community of people around me. If you think that success by trial-and-error is your best option, then remember back to those days when you attended grade school but tried to make the top grades by 'doing your work alone'. Think back to those seemingly 'lucky kids' who got to be in that 'special' group. They always seemed to have the upper hand, and their achievements always seemed to come easier. I don't know about you, but I certainly had to work just as hard to keep up with these kids. Furthermore, I knew that if I just had the chance to be in their group, I would succeed just as much.

The point of my story is that my nephew was being presented with an opportunity to be part of a small group of other people who could learn a lot more than 'just the basics'. They got to learn the tricks and techniques that others wouldn't or couldn't follow for whatever reason.

Several Heads Are Always Better Than One, Part 1

Hello Fellow MLM'ers and Affiliate Marketers,

First off -- there's never been a better time in history to start your own business. That statement is true if we apply the Internet to that thought. So..., to bring you 'the real skinny', the truth is that Internet marketing involves a significant learning curve. In short, you've got to 1) create the targeted and qualified leads you need to really hit your golden business stride; and 2) you'll need a network of powerhouses who do more than 'talk the talk'; and 3) you want people who will do what they say when they say they will deliver; and 4)you want to access a network of sensible people who are TOPS in what they do. You want the highest paid mentors, but they must be willing to show you what they do, precisely. This last bit of advice is important.

Then What?

That brings us to the biggest part of your business. Leads. You need and want lots of them but you have to find people who will be drawn to you. Forget the arm twisting or feeding off your downline because those methods only work so long.

And...,

If you can't get the leads you need to create the success you want, you're facing a very common problem. Let me reassure you that you're not alone. The biggest challenge any business faces is...; 1) lead generation..., and 2) targeted lead acquisition. You don't want tire kickers. You do want people who are already motivated and dedicated.

Futhermore...,

It costs companies a lot of money to create loyal customers. This is the number two problem for most companies ( one -- being working capital and two -- customer acquisition). Companies spend millions addressing the second challenge.

If You're An Individual Business Owner, Then What?

So if you're an individual business owner, what do you have to do to get your name out there affordably and regularly? How do you solve this challenge without losing your wallet and your life? I will tell you that if you think in terms of the Internet, it's a powerful medium. And.., you must know what you're doing. Don't head into paid advertising if you haven't been certified in this skill.

Then..., use your creative saavy to find that hungry audience wanting to purchase what you have to offer. In order to service those needs, you have to pick one thing and become very good at doing that one thing. For example, if you're great at talking on the phone with other people, that's a very good skillset. If you're great with computers, there are a ton of people online who need your help. Those are the two most common examples of what you can offer. Let's move forward.

How Do You Figure Out What You Must Absolutely Master?

It all begins by finding a group of people who are hard-working and dedicated to their marketing. If you're in MLM, you're looking for your most successful people out there. Don't wait for them to seek you out. Just start talking and finding. Then bug the person who will first listen and help. Ask a ton of questions and don't worry about being a pest. If you are a pest, they'll tell you so. If they're truly worth their weight in gold, they'll help. I've talked about these earliest steps in prior posts because you're after solid expertise you can readily access. This action leads to another person...and another ....and so on.

You must take the action...to attract to yourself the information you most readily desire but it always starts with the singular action.

Then, Find A System That Works

Then.., you have to find a system you can implement..., and it has to be one that totally works most of the time -- not just part of the time. You're looking for a comprehensive system that will -- 1) help you find ways of generating targeted and qualified leads..., 2) with that system supporting you in the recruitment of those people efficiently..., and 3) then measuring your results for consistent improvements. A schedule works well. Numbers help, but the network and the system will be your golden finds!

How I Found My Network

I'll share these findings with you, without inserting baloney. It took me about 1 month to find my network. It took me several years of working with these people to know that they were genuine. It takes time to align yourself with others who make sense to you -- then comparing those results within your network. Results will differ from person-to-person. However.., the kind of trust you want is trust that lasts for years to come. Build quality relationships you'll carry with you for at least 5 to 10 year's time. That kind of trust only appears when you find someone you'll repeatedly work with.., in unison with others in the network. It takes a team to build your business. That team will involve a group of separate entrepreneurs that won't be acting separately. That way, your business is moving forward whenever you need a real break.

Trusting Others Requires a Process of Testing and Learning

To show you one network of what MLM'ers and affiliates are accessing, I'll tell you where I hang out. You have to test the network to see if you first fit in. If you don't, continue your search. It is that simple. That's the most caring advice I can offer.

My network is extensive. I do have about 5 specialists I consult with regularly, but I hang out with thousands of people who are actively sharing their knowledge by collaborating, networking, and constantly staying miles ahead of those who just don't know about us. I'll take you back to an old adage. Have you ever heard that several heads are better than one?

How This Group Keeps An Upper Hand

1) They access intensive information...
2) They access updated information...
3) They access information that is supported by research, numbers and current facts...
4) They supplement their marketing education with people who truly know what's involved...
5) They access a network who applies precisely what they do online...
6) Avoid those who say one thing and do another because they'll steer you blind unknowingly.

You don't have to learn it all, but you can find the things you like to do most. Then, exchange your services and skills with others to get set up online. Pay for some help and share findings with others. That's pretty much it. Head for the most active networks out there and find out what they're doing.

1 Surefire Method Doubling Your 2010 Productivity Now (Rather Than Tomorrow)

With information overload these days (e-mails, phone calls, etc.), it's more imperative than ever to look at how you tackle your workday.

Yes..., you could create a to-do list which runs on forever, but it's stressful enough to get your work done. If the to-do list works for you -- fine. If not, consider using my surefire alternative to doubling your productivity now. This very quick method works for me and many others who have also used this approach.

• Get yourself an inexpensive timer.

• Set it for 50 minutes.

• Give yourself the freedom to focus on one important task for those 50 minutes.

What you're aiming for by making this change means that in the 50 minutes now ticking, you'll voluntarily push aside everything else during that period of time. Allow yourself to address just this one task only.

• At the end of 50 minutes, take a 10-minute break.

• Repeat.

This method should double your productivity, but more importantly, it will transform the way you absolutely work.

Masterminding With Conviction

May you have a good day, today. In today's post, I'll touch upon a few different topics helping you empower yourself. I've talked about Laws of Attraction in previous post but I'll keep this law going strong, sharing different ways to do this very same thing.

Here's the context. Yesterday, I was working with a fellow who is considerably younger than myself in business and in marketing, but we spent an hour talking about what was needed to create a successful, lasting home-based business. I'm not talking about burning up your warm or cold markets... nickeling and diming people to death by selling them everything under the sky. That only miffs people off. I'm talking about building sustainable relationships you can potentially pull (not push) into your mastered teams -- the teams responsible for helping you and others progress in your MLM over 10 and 15 year's time. Let's call this team power masterminding. It's a very powerful business method and it's nothing new.

So ... going back to my story to explain more, this young fellow had his reasons why he was struggling. My response? He didn't fully know about masterminding (or how it worked), but I listened and grounded him. I told this talented person, "It's not what you buy or outsource (workwise) that will ultimately determine the success of your business. It's how you relate to each and every person on a daily basis that counts. Find out what people need, problem-solve it and then deliver. You have to make yourself available to do just that".

Adopting A Powerful Mindset No One Can Undermine

This story with the marketing friend essentially embocies adoption of an unstoppable mindset no one can undermine (with their lack of know-how or prior, unexamined programming). Explaining further -- sure, you can add tools you need to build your business, but do it in moderation. Consider -- the greatest business performers out there are doing something different from you so you have to keep your eyes wide open. Watch what they're doing! Your job is to find out succinctly what those business efforts and don't include.

The Top Dogs Think Differently Than You Do

It's possible the top dogs think differently than you do. They may have challenges teaching precisely what they inherently have learned over time, but these people are using proactive thinking. So find out what this is without giving away your first born or your full retirement (assuming it's not entirely under water).

These people continually reinvest in themselves by acquiring a proper marketing education and here's why. They hire experts to help them, but in this profession (MLM and hybrid marketing), you must eventually build a specialized skillset. If you're solely recruiting, you still have to be able to manage your downline. But...securing this education will be the most valuable thing you'll ever do. You have to BE the expert. So I'm not talking about listening to an upline exclusively who's going to work your warm market (to their advantage). Find at least 3 or 4 different sources helping you pull your information together. This effort is about being your own CEO. This is the mindset you must eventually adopt. Adopt it by putting yourself in the driver's seat, making your own decisions. Then, use your common sense to guide you in all of your business dealings. You can't lose when you hinge your business success off of a growing skillset. All MBA's know this. I'll give you another hint. Your business is YOU. It's about pulling your personality and life know-how into your business...thereby creating a unique entity no one else can copy. Competitors try..., and they aren't you!

To Help You Get Where You Want To Go (Now Rather Than Later)

So how do you get to where you want to go, now rather than later? It starts with setting forth a concrete schedule helping you manage your time. Sounds boring, but it's true. You can't juggle every choice without creating some type of roadmap for yourself.

You have to set forth a concrete, daily schedule you can live by. If it's part-time, that's fine. If it's three-quarters-time, that's fine. Whatever you decide, put it on paper and stick to your schedule, if even you're at first scratching your head. Write down every small thing you have to do for your family. Write down your errand time. Write down exercise time, but don't forget to build into the earliest part of your day time to connect to new people. There is no substitute for taking this action. If you hit a wall, don't give up and over time, slowly begin to identify the places you can use (usually starting for free) to put yourself ou there and then identify the skills that really pay. Even if the MLM traditionalists using 20th-Century marketing ask you to use their methods, you have the power to decide what you'll implement. Yeah -- you'll hear, "Until you're a millionaire, then you can create your own business blueprint"! Mule muffins (adding humor here for fun). Truth-be-told, there are affiliate marketers online who create their own products using a combination of sweat equity, outsourcing and direct asking (of consumers).

If you're not sure what you should use in your MLM efforts, you can try some things the 20th-century marketers recommend...., but slow your burn rate of MLM monthly expenditures. Forget paying $400 a month to "stay qualified". That's a recipe for personal disaster. You are the boss of your business. You determine who you hire and fire. Then, blend your business efforts with adoption of this unstoppable MLM mindset..., overcoming all ostacles, minor or large.

Eker Says It Best

"You can choose to think in ways that will (either) support you in your happiness and success... instead of (thinking in) ways that don't", (Eker, T. H., 2009). It is that simple. Stop yourself when you're talking to someone else in a complaining ways. It wastes precious time. Then immediately redirect your thoughts in proactive directions usually related to problem-solving and taking direct action. When you take baby steps to advance yourself, you'll spend less time worrying about what you should be doing. Remember -- worry is a substitute for action.

A Proactive Attitude Draws People To You, Without Exception

A proactive attitude draws people to you, without exception in knowing (beyond doubt) that others will have a need and definite want for what you have to offer. It's knowing each day that your attitude triggers internal power others see and want (but don't necessarily know how to get). Often, you'll see this power misdirected in negative ways but when it's used powerfully, you'll see that you can't get it from external places. Sure, you can study books and business methods all day long, but other people will associate with you when you're focused, steady, consistently positive..., hitting your daily and weekly targets.

How Do You Think More Proactively?

Shift your daily thoughts away from negative information...again. That focus only sucks you dry. Catch yourself often and refocus. Do it so many times a day that you won't forget.

Then.., kindly stop making excuses pertaining to why you can't do something and look for sensible information supporting your daily progress. It won't be perfect, and you won't find a turn-key system doing everything for you. Business ownership is nothing more than honest, smart, challenging work. Work like a dog to make things happen for yourself and others. Then remember... nothing or no-one can hold you back even when you're determined.

It is that simple.

Hey There Fellow MLM'ers,

I sincerely hope this day finds you well.

In today's post, I'd like to share 4 tell all MLM rules entirely designed to sink your MLM ship. It's a given fact that your MLM company doesn't share what their top folks had to do to get where they're at now. It wouldn't make for a dramatic entry into many MLM's this week. So, they excite their ball room audiences with grandly embellished details (here and there) to make their stories more interesting. I'm not saying these people are bad at all. I'm merely painting a more accurate picture as to what usually goes on in these presentation rooms.

So why don't the heavy-hitter, Top Guns open their kimonos to show you what they really use or know? Well they do - indirectly but you have to be open enough to see everything (right in front of your very own eyes). That kind of discernment comes with knowing what to precisely look for, so that you can sift myth from powerful marketing facts. Let's just call these marketing facts the 'actions in advertising that do work', time and time again regardless of what you're promoting.

In reality, the traditional MLM methods are designed to do one thing -- that is... to promote the company itself. Now, that's entirely fine if you apply it to the modern context called corporate enterprise. But take those same methods and apply them to individual levels. That's where the marketing begins to go awry.
Ask yourself -- okay ....so I see that a few guys and gals are making a ton of dough, but I just continue to spin my wheels. That's not a fine reality if I am sitting in confused sectors of what should be an all-encompassing abundant industry. Right? Isn't that what you upline says..., "there's plenty to go around"? So if you feel really confused, you are not alone. It's not your fault. I've been there. I know where you're at.

So..., if you're not yet a seaasoned or highly-skilled distributor yet, what do you do? The truth of the matter is that you need specific skills to really make the business jump. And..., I'm not talking about purchasing yourself into wealthy appearances, just for the sake of managing a faulty MLM show. Yes. There are people who have done this very thing but who would be proud of that reality? So.., they don't advertise what they paid time and time again to create the illusion of wealth.

That means -- you have to identify the powerful players who are wealthy, not just looking wealthy. One hallmark quality of true, inherent wealth is that you'll see genuine confidence (and humility) in this person. So...much of what has been taught (for nearly 7 decades now) has been designed to promote your networking company, exclusively. Look at everything they give you. It's about the name of the firm, the name of the President, the name of his wife, the name of his home and the name of his dog. You get my drift.

As a final point, this method works. It works extremely well..., but my point is that you're not featured in any of these articles or publications. Now how does that look to your list of friends? They don't care who Joe Blow or Jane Blow (the amazing uplines) are. Your contacts will enter into this company by directly knowing you. That's it. So what can you do about 'the spinning your wheels' reality?

Be The Expert

True and lasting success truly begins with market positioning. This is true because consumers buy in the presence of genuine expertise and real business know-how. They can always spot the geunine article!

Now.., what your company may not tell you is HOW or WHY you're limiting the growth of your business.

Forget these mainstream methods for the time-being because they generally don't involve 21st-Century marketing -- at least on your end when we start with buying a self-replicating website (the corporate site they give you) or they ask you to showcase your efforts by purchasing their 'bugged out' leads. By saying that much, I'm talking about getting your hands on people who already want what you have to offer, not accessing a list that's had 25 distributors call them already.

MLM Has It's Advantages

Let me point out -- I have great respect for the industry and my fellow distributors (or else I wouldn't be here). This is still the best place in the world to create a residual income... but..., unless you're one of the distinct and proven few who have been given blessed corporate permission to use their Internet marketing system really bringing in new leads), what are you going to do? For clarity's sake, let's highlight the fact that a very miniscule number of people enter into this inner circle. Notice -- how they use their videos and ads to position themselves? That's two hints. But.., they do a lot more than they might openly share with the common masses. After all, why give away corporate secrets especially when you're sleeping and bathing in dough? Right? No. The New Economy now upon us is about total corporate transparency. That brings me to my next point.

Here are 4 Tell All Corporate Strategies Designed to Absolutely Sink Your MLM Ship --

Maybe it's conscious...and maybe it's not...when you're told to hand out those DVD's and more. Ask yourself what's true for you? If you've done everything they've said but you only recruited 3 people (the industry average before a distributor drops out), then listen to your intuition.

Notice -- if you feel a rock sitting in your gut, that's your greater self saying that 'something isn't 'true for you' Something is amiss. We've had a lot of supposedly 'honest' business people across several realms make up whatever rules, raising the bar just to hit their multiple, multiple millions and billions.

I apologize in advance if this statement reads harsh, but let's get real. Case in point, this last economic meltdown has a lot of people naturally disgusted with the high echelons displaying outright, contemptable greed. After all, isn't it about time we asked ourselves how much is enough? How often are individuals going to give away that individual power (taking the words to heart as being real when some numbskull claims he/she knows the exclusive way)? I'm talking about learning to how generate your own leads. In the world of business, there is always another way to skin the [erverbial chicken. Please read on about how you can preserve your sanity and your business without entirely losing your shorts to buy into that bill of goods some upline fed you..., unknowingly or otherwise.

Begin By Affirming Who You Are -- State Your Name Out Loud

"I am (first name and last name)". Say it with convinction. Repeat it 5 times and repeat it firmly with each repeat saying. Then feel the power in that statement. What does your name say about you as a person and as a business entity? You're not chopped liver. You have thoughts, ideas and actions unique to you as an individual residing on this Earth. You are important. If anything else -- this last statement tells you what our absolute and ultimate truth is separately from what another human being says. If you weren't important, you wouldn't have an upline hanging around your neck during the time that he/she is accessing your network! Word of advice -- don't open your network. Don't. Those people are your relationships and no one elses. Preserve your name and reserve it for the invitee dinner list your friends and family will extend.

Rule #1: Never Promote Anyone Other Than Yourself. (Heck: You don't see the Top Guns doing this.)

Rule #2: Forget 3-Way Calls..., Unless You're Hosting Your Own Teleconference Live. Even then...you don't need these.

Rule #3: Belly-To-Belly -- What's That? This approach only gets you into hot water with your warm market, and worse, it builds someone else's organization. NICE.

Rule #4: So They Told You To Buy Their Corporate Flyers, DVD's and More, Did They? $10,000K In Debt? Have a Downline of Only 7 Griping Reps? (It's no coincidence these companies are raking in heavy dough. They make the Wall Street traders look like angels.)

What you really need is the marketing information they should have told you in the first place. That's why I'm here. I was fed up with the baloney they fed me 5 MLM's later. I even prospected one MLM CEO directly and she had the nerve to tell me, "Now why do you think I'd be interested in your MLM"? That question (or should I say answer) spoke volumes. This CEO knew exactly what was happening in her industry -- targeting directly people who don't have the means or prowess to operate their own businesses. And, we both know that's not true. If people were properly trained by the companies in power, we'd all be in a much better economic boat altogether.

Truth-be-told..., there are a lot of people working quietly to support your real business needs but you can't always tell who or what they are. Always look at the actions and forget anything someone tells you. If a leader is always working on your behalf to help you improve your lot in life, that's how you'll know you've found a golden resource. Let's move on.

Today's post shares ethics in business. Sure, I can share a lot of "How To's (and I do in other communications). Without ethics, nothing else will do. I'd like to believe that many of us are doing our best during these challenging economic times. There's also a lot of funny business going on. This lack of sensitivity warrants a continued need for persistent ethics training. Call me naive. It's true. You can't change a criminal mindset or help someone who's mentally unstable, but you can help good minds realize what's essential.

I'd like to talk about the importance of building sound relationships. Even if you're under big pressure to deliver and profit, what's the real price you paid when negating the connection people truly want to feel? Should you continue to fall short in this arena, you certainly can't blame your prospects.

All Too Easily Forgotten..., Ethics 101

I'd like to talk about growing your business any other way. I'm talking about the importance of forming concrete human relationships. Ethics seems to be a grey area for most folks because you CAN teach the importance of doing the right thing, but you CANNOT enforce what should be a given. I've seen some folks tout principles they EXPECT others to uphold, and in the same breath, they'll misapply identical ethics to themselves by excusing outcomes they'll never logically defend.

Enter Hotel MLM

Several years ago, one could literally put together a few hotel MLM business opportunity meetings, make a list of their warm market, and likely generate some great results with their business...and quickly too.

Enter Internet

Well…then the advent of the Internet came along. Talk about altering business. It didn’t take long for central “players” to appear. They immediately began testing direct mail campaigns. Now, using the Internet as their primary medium for communicated messages, Corey Rudl was one of the first who started using squeeze pages (data capture pages) to generate data. He wasn't the only one but he was early in this effort.

Enter “Planet Technology” And The “Quick Buck” Mentality

Enter "planet technology" and the quick buck mentality. It certainly didn’t take long for this medium to skyrocket in its popularity. Internet marketers, affiliate marketers, direct sales associates, and even network marketers sworn to uphold business meetings at all cost, quickly fell in love. Who wouldn’t, right?

The Internet was a quick way to engage an audience and solve their problems inexpensively. Thinking about the early days, it only cost a few hundred bucks a year to host and maintain a website -- a far cry from where we’re at, today. For under $5.00 a month, someone can establish an Internet presence.

A Critical “Link” Gets Lost In the Shuffle

A critical "link" gets lost in the shuffle. A lot of people lost their tails -- big time. They lost their vehicles, homes, prized-possessions, and more when the late 90’s hit. If you recall the "dot bomb" era, people were literally putting their family’s livelihood on the line, including life savings. So with this new advent, lives were changed -- many for the better.

Since then, the Internet has created a massive amount of millionares and “new money”. It also cost countless others practically everything they had (and much they didn’t have). Throughout this time, many, many people entirely forgot something that makes most businesses tick, grow and build. This was true, especially in network marketing. I call this, "The most critical link of all". Without this link, an organization cannot flourish.

Enter “Loss Of Fundamental Essentials”

Now enter (the) "loss of fundamental essentials". Many people forgot about the power and the significance of “relationships”. You see it now on a daily basis -- where tens of thousands of network marketers out on Facebook, MySpace…Twitter, are still in this run. As marketers, we must remember one component at all times..., regardless of how we choose to communicate our message, building a relationship is a MUST. You can't build a sustainable direct sales or network marketing business any other way. When we build a relationship, there’s a sense of trust…a trust level they’re the consumer is ultimately “buying” into you, your expertise, and your leadership. You can't blame this reality on other people because this is a fundamental element which is hugely required.

Skip a step, refuse to communicate with those who are reaching out to you, and you get what you get. Zip. People don't easily forget. They'll even spread the word. Not good. So marketers must balance their time and their needs to generate greater profits with those they must serve. It's not an easy thing to do when you have to hit your monthly marks.

Whether you’re communicating your message via teleseminar, video, email, website, direct mail, or beyond, the truth is - you're in control of the % of prospects who become customers or distributors. The better the relationship, the higher your closing percentages will be.

When we don’t properly establish our authority or use Facebook (among others) to scream -- “Buy my stuff from me” - it all backfires. We quickly have our hopes set ablaze…NOT because the medium doesn’t work, but because we didn’t use the tool properly.

If you were a carpenter, would you use a hammer to do the job of a stapler?

It’s not just about the tool…it’s absolutely ALL about the marketer, their skillset and their ability to use the tool properly. Whether you’re building an email list, calling targeted buyer files, or even using traditional networking methods, the more credibility you establish, the more business you’re you'll close.

It's Not About the Marketing Channel

It’s not even about the specific method of marketing or “channels” you’re using to communicate your message. It is about how you’re going to connect and engage your audience, repeatedly.
Never lose sight of what’s really important…building, molding and allowing the relationship to take place.

If you’re looking for the maximum number of closes, there are no short-cuts. It doesn’t mean we can’t or shouldn’t use “hands off” approaches, but it does mean that there are better ways to structure our relationships. This will account for much of the business you'll generate. It's about how you’re using these approaches to create a world of difference for yourself and others.

So if you lose sight of what’s important, would you buy from someone who visibly only wanted your money? Your prospects are no different. They want to feel important…not just like another number. Make others feel “valued” - as if they actually mean something to you.

And remember…doing nothing, even if it’s wrong, is far superior than doing nothing at all. Here's to better understanding.

Persistence Or Knowledge, An Ongoing Debate

Welcome Back Fellow MLM'ers!

Today's post brings you an extra-added bonus. In a prior post, I pose the age-old business debate, "Persistence Or Knowledge…? Which one is most important?

My thoughts on any debated subject would be -- first-off, who wants to tackle a debate, esp. if you're more interested in progressing in your business/your life)? If you're like me -- a true-blue, died-in-the-wool entrepreneur who wants hard-core solutions, debates spend precious time, and they usually lead nowhere.

So here's some food for thought.

There are a lot of skills that go into building a home-based-business. Let's talk about a few, integral components I mention in another post titled, "Common Attributes of Highly-Successful Entrepreneurs:

Persistence
Knowledge

Which attribute (or component) do you believe is most essential to your success?

No doubt…, you nailed the answer.

Money “Earners” VS Money “Dreamers”

Persistence is required when you're building a business. That's very, very big. Some would say it's paramount. I'm talking about tapping into an “inner drive” that keeps you tickin', long before you're kickin’ everything into highest gear.

Even after you have:

taken a lickin'
heard a 100 “No’s”
made donations to Google Adwords
or faced any other hurdle temporarily knocking you down.

What really separates money “earners” from money “dreamers” are those who use real persistence, day in and day out. It's that commitment to get back up after any event, to understand that battles aren’t won or lost over a short amount of time. I'm talking about those times where you're winning one success or even experiencing a failure.

***NOTE***

Failure in the book of masters only means one thing. It's an opportunity to begin again by applying greater intelligence -- that know-how better known as wisdom, garnered only after you've stepped through consistent action.

Failure may involve a setback, but it does not mean you're whipped.

If this makes sense, let's move forward.

Strong VS. Persistent - What It Means In Successful Terms

The strong and persistent people continue to get things done. They understand that doing something…even if it’s wrong... is still far superior than doing nothing at all.

Some Phrases You May Have Heard Before --

The weak look for reasons or excuses to not do something.
The persistent look for ways and reasons why they can get something done - EVEN WHEN THEY’RE CONSIDERED BY MANY (THE WEAK ONES) TO BE "DOWN AND OUT".

So don't set yourself up for a fall by rationalizing your way out of opportunities long before you know or comprehend what they might involve.

Case in point. When I stepped into my 4th MLM, I asked people why they didn't use the Internet? I was naturally thinking -- so here we have this powertool that only "the top people can use"...hmmm. Why is that so? And, why aren't most of us harnessing 21st-century technology? You know what I heard (other than crickets)? Well, the company says you can't do this. Right. It's because the top 1% formed agreements with the firm, obtaining this decree. It's because they will perform but the other 98% might not.

I also heard -- "It's too costly".

Hmmm. You'll see a ton of people going online, without corporate permission.

Seems to me that this is "rhetoric" (of why you can't do something is solely based on someone else's advice corresponding to a typical nightmare). It's really a whopper of failure no one wants to admit. This means that rather than telling another unsuspecting person, "I really messed up and didn't conduct thorough research"..., I'll still act like an expert anyway. That kind of advice comes from someone who went out there in cyberspace without consulting Internet advertising specialists.

I apologize if this reads harsh.

Never take someone else's word as a solemn answer, especially if another person loses big money (online) without knowing why. Find the pros who've been there and done that, repeatedly.

They will spare you unnecessary pain.

Want Proof?

You can pause any campaign you're running to stay within monthly budgetary constraints. That means, if you intend to spend $100, $200, or even $1,000 (on paid advertising), you stop there!

Better still, start with free means. People do it all the time, online and they generate their leads for far less than traditional players pay, never mind paying $5/lead. That's a post for another day.

I'm giving away a few trade secrets, but this is important.

OK - moving back on topic.

So why is persistence more important than knowledge? If you're going to build your business in a sustainable manner, let's assume...wouldn't you want to know how to get something done so that you can recruit more reps?

The short answer is a resounding, “Yes”, however - persistence is a precursor to that knowledge.

The money “earners” who have the willingness to do whatever it takes by using their unwavering “hunger” will find there are hugely-acceptable, industry standards. These standards have been and will continue to be repeatedly proven even as the Internet evolves. These answers help you gain the needed know-how without going broke.

Persistent people get what's involved in order to solve "that plaguing problem 98% of the others don't solve too well. So how do you get something done exceptionally well (not by just "making it")?

These are the questions others brush under the carpet, particularly if or when old answers don't fit the new codes (the Internet) or when new solutions don't appear so readily (again..., think Internet). See where I'm going with this?

When we’re recruiting others into a business, you want to heavily weigh persistence far more than knowledge.

Why?

People can be trained and taught to do certain things. I would talk about learning those things that aren't always taught in the traditional recruiting environments, like getting the proper phoning skillset, developing your mastery over conferencing and more. I'm not talking about tripping over your tongue. You have to know what you're doing but that means accessing people who know and do this all the time.

I would mention -- you have to learn how to script a compelling call holding peoples' attention, then propelling them forward to take specific actions based on what they tell you they need.

I'm talking about how you lead people to follow through on your recommendations when they'd rather sit on their dimes, not because of old fear but because they're following a trusted source.

I'm not talking about leading the lambs to slaughter.

I'm talking about serving a real need, based on repeated permission people clearly offer you, just because it makes good sense -- not because some on-stager said so. This is about giving people complete information before they opt-into your offers so there are no smoke or mirrors involved.

Now..., to develop the expertise I'm talking about, persistence is required. This is something that can't be taught.

A true entrepreneur must have a willingness or an unwavering desire "to do whatever it takes" to bring things about, without resorting to any trickery. That thought brings us back to focusing on something big.

Focus on Your Ultimate Reason -- Why?

What motivates you when the “chips” are down? This is the most relevant asset your business will possess. It's that part of you which permanently resides between your ears.

NO ONE can steal this, take it away or strip you of it. It’s yours…forever. So the only real question is… "What do you plan on doing with it?”

Definition of Due Diligence NWM Style

Hello Fellow MLM'ers,

From time-to-time, I offer definitions.

The purpose in doing so is to help you achieve some clarity.

I'm not interested in bashing MLM's because I have a lot of MLM associates who are solid, down-to-earth people. There are a few great MLM's out there.

The idea here is to protect consumers. Did you know that roughly $500 million consumer dollars are spent each year to join an MLM, or to purchase stuff never seeing the light of day? That's a conservative estimate.

Most consumers will never recover their money, unless there's a class-action lawsuit. If that happens, you might get $40 back, provided you saved receipts from all of your purchases which can be nebulous at best.

Today's definition is designed to get you thinking pro-actively but before I do that, hang with me a little longer. It's important to offer a few more helpful tips.

Never make a financial decision when you're stirred up or unclear. Many of us learned that lesson during the last financial panic.

Here's Why.

You'll often make the worst decision. Sometimes, when we're looking at business opportunities, when we're really blown out of the water by witnessing the sheer excitement of someone's joy - i.e. the distributor. It won't be ours.

Conduct the research.

Use your logic and math results to tell you what's happening. If you're not sure, post a comment and I'll personally contact you, evaluating the MLM firsthand.

Here's why.

Did you know that the average lifetime value of any MLM distributor will be nearly $5,000, or far more? That's assuming this person will purchase products as a user for at least 1 year's time, minimum.

That's also assuming that this person will buy a lot of MLM stuff on a monthly basis. I talk about ADR, or 'Automatic Delivery Rewards' in the later paragraphs because this offer really blows your budget, never minding the free points and products they'll give you). You're still paying for everything plus Mr. CEO's expensive cruise he'll happily post on some social site so that you can really feel depressed.

If you're pushed to pick up 'a neato-looking' corporate website from an upline, it's most often doing very little for the average Joe. Many MLM's aren't all they're touted to be. Some are legit and decent. Many don't even pass the acid test.

I will share definitions over time, designed to help you see matters more clearly.

If anyone approaches you on their business opportunity, "touted as a lifetime deal you simply can't pass up", think again. Ask the guy or gal promoting their company what the track record of its distributors have been. You'll usually hear, "Oh. You can find that information online". Press them for an answer and watch them squirm. You'll usually hear crickets.

If he/she hands you over to an upline, ask that upline ...or better still..., ask whether or not the flashy-dressed CEO uses 3-way calls? Don't be shy. Visualize me standing next to you as you do this. Ask that guy or gal, "Do you target your audience with parking-lot flyers or belly-to-belly marketing?" Sometimes, they'll say 'yes' to the belly-to-belly thing, but only after distributors have opened their warm market, dragged others to presentations (usually family to look good), and/or spent hoards of money. Most of the time they'll say, "Well...I built my organization the old-fashioned way". Sorry, SIR CEO. That's a Red Herring in my book.

If you must join an MLM, find one you can trust. If you can't do that, don't go for it especially if you can't put your finger on 'the thing that doesn't feel right'. Your gut is telling you 'no'. Follow that instinct.

Should a solid-looking MLM come your way, only purchase the distributor kit.

Don't spend your money on all of their DVD's, Audios or Flashy Books, up front. Most of the time, those items gather dust or make excellent door stops (for the ailing vast majority).

If you don't know how to recruit by closing 1 out of every 100 people (an industry norm) or don't know how to even put any numbers in your favor, don't buy the $1,500 or $3,000 executive kit. Just don't. You'll thank me later. I learned this lesson the hard way, after forking over $1,500 bucks to some crusty-old doctor (of all people) selling me a real bill of goods. How does he sleep at night?

Distributors touting "The biggest package is the fastest way to grow your business". That person is blowing smoke in your face, most unknowingly because he's doing what his upline taught him to do. These distributors are trying to move their dusty boxes in favor of 'GPN', Getting Paid Now. GPN is fast-becoming a popular online adage.

If the guy presses you too hard by insisting that you "Must get the top package" so you can fit in with the die-hards on stage or because supplies are flying out the door so fast that manufacturing can't keep up with demand, tell him..., "Well if you like it so much, then you buy it for me. Then maybe I'll think about testing these products firsthand"!

Experience says the guy will run in the opposite direction.

If you really, really, really have to buy 3 boxes of MLM X, Y, and Z "Supergusto, jet-propelled packet fuel" (which is better reserved for waxing your car), then get 1 box. Don't go over $250. Even then, I'd rather pay someone to shave my head. Truth-be-told, I have long hair I truly adore and even then, I only pay $23. That's still high.

Use the products for a while.

See how you like 'em, but don't do the 'You gotta have this ADR'..., or you're losing out thing! Some people call these ADR's, Automatic Delivery Rewards. I call it 'Adjust the Dickins from your Rent money' because it will most likely be zero. Just get 1 box and never mind the rest, even if the dude pads the offer with "200 free opportunity-seeking, best leads available, extra primo and extra good". Most of the time these leads are crap.

Hint: the best leads are product purchasing leads...or people who want to buy a product to solve a problem, call it designing a functional website (showcasing only you) or addressing a joint ache & knee pain..., or ridding yourself of toenail fungus. You get the idea. Finally, look at the company history online -- good and not-so-good. You owe it to yourself to keep your eyes wide open.

Sorry I'm long-winded. This MLM 'traditional' stuff either makes me laugh or it makes me cry, there's so much absurdity out there.

Due Diligence. 1) A term NWM distributors like to use to describe one who does a thorough investigation before saying "no" to a NWM proposition....and, (2) What a wife no longer receives from her husband after he joins a NWM program.

Fortune Cookie Wisdom - How To Create A Successful, Sustainable Business

Passion without competence won't make it.

Excellence combined with enthusiasm is always a winning combination.

Find what you do extremely well and then offer that skill to others.

People will usually join you on the basis of how well you lead others. They want a system that works more of the time than not.

In truth, people will want YOU.

Your products won't necessarily make the business, but it never hurts to offer quality, the right quantity, or even bundle products they demand, coupled with personalized service and consistent (reliable) delivery.

Treat your customer as KING and QUEEN.

Always keep the other person's needs in mind.

Work to fill market gaps.

Always be ethical. Do what's right even when no one is looking and never make exceptions to this rule.

Treat others they way they want to be treated. Even though people sometimes act differently, inherently they are smart and powerful. They only have to look the other way to find someone else who will help.

Then, when you do these things, you'll create a successful business !

MLM Summer Break

Hello Fellow Network Marketers,

If you're inclined to feel any pressures related to taking the summer off, I can assure you that it's far easier to hit burnout in a shorter period of time if you don't.

Here's why. As the CEO of your business, you have to pace yourself for the long haul.

Tip # 1:

Pay close attention to the seasonal ups and downs of this industry. You'll learn that the highest recruiting months generally coincide with the Fall and early Spring. September through October and February through May will mean that you really have to 'pour on the heat' (of your work efforts). When June hits, many people are planning their vacations.

Tip # 2:

Consider using the Internet as one source of your power. Did you know that you can put the numbers in your favor by harnessing this tool? Of course, there are specific steps involved, paired with some 21st century learning (i.e. the Internet). Don't worry though. You can learn some of this stuff yourself and you can partially outsource your work, too. I remember there was a time where I didn't know a thing about online marketing.

Tip # 3:

If you're in the early stages of MLM learning, take your summer break. Make sure you take actions to move yourself forward. If that means finding a mentor you can trust, then so be it. (That was my first step). If it means you need to expand your network of contacts first, then do that. (That was my second step). You can use the free networks online to do this. Most of all, be prepared to make some 'baby-step' changes because Rome wasn't built in a day.

I'll give you some more hints.

You can harness the power of the Internet to generate your own leads!! No kidding. I'm doing it as we speak, and I am not talking about buying a bunch of worn out, old geneology lead lists a bunch of other network marketers have already dialed..., and I'm not talking about using a corporate 'real-time' website or buying a bunch of leads from the top gurus for $5 each, especially when you don't know how these leads were qualified.)
You can use your phone. There are real ways to learn what to say and how to say it so that people will be interested in your product or service. No kidding. If I can learn, anyone can learn. I guarantee it.

Mockumentary - "Believe", Satyre on Network Marketing

Hello Fellow Networker Marketers (and Interested Affiliate Marketers),

Some of my blog readers have suggested, "Hey Barbara. I really like the humorous approach to your marketing". So in a sincere, ongoing effort to show business owners marketing and advertising stuff which really works, sometimes I talk about the stuff that doesn't work. In all advertising matters, you must always test all methods. When you get a decent response (at least 1% in any test group), then most likely that's going to be your central advertising medium. I will also say that no one specific method works all the time. You have to use a layered advertising approach to keep your name out there in businessland (both online and offline).

Here's today's thought. I found a video supporting a repetitious contention that business owners should always use careful discernment whenever implementing advertising & marketing methods taught by uplines or even affiliates (who are less seasoned than we'd think). Some of these methods often produce scant results: i.e. like flyering parking lots, using silly lead boxes scattered among many brick-and-mortar businesses in your home town or using 3-way uplines (hint: this last method is the best way to wreck your expertise and sink your business). I tried those methods in many MLM's but even tested them in my 10-year franchise. The results? Many of these methods (and more) didn't pass the acid test. In fact, they bombed. Over the years, I've learned what works better and even best because I get into the universal business information any business owner can use, regarless of what you're marketing.

Next, I'll show you a 'mockumentary' video hinting strongly that MLM isn't always the big opportunity it's touted to be. I'll admit that MLM's can be some of the best places to generate residual checks, but not all MLM's are created equal. This video talks about 'honesty' in network marketing. It is presented for satyrical purposes only, and I'd like to point out that you are and the CEO of your busienss so anything you implement will always involve your money, your time and your effort. You're the one who should determine which decisions (and actions) pass or fail.

Whether you're working in network marketing or online affiliate marketing, there's one thing you'll quickly learn in order to win the game. You have to find an exclusive way to grab the attention of others, holding it, then finding ways to give people what they need, want and demand.

Humorous Marketing 101 - Helpful Tip

Consider using humor that will attract people to you (even if the topic is periodically or even absolutely unrelated to whatever you're promoting).

Case in point -- pick a site which has had a huge number of hits...and have fun. This usually happens when you're not looking for the site itself because humor has a way of making its way back to you. Make sure it's a tasteful site (no adult content...please). That's a surefire way to wreck your marketing image. Over time, your goal will be to use that humor somehow marrying to the mindspeak of your audience, talking their talk). That way, your marketing messages will follow a natural order. Hint: Google likes messages that blend (but this isn't one of those times). My goal here is to grab your attention or in the very least give you a break from your marketing.

Loss of Fundamental Essentials: MLM & Affiliate Marketing

Ahhh...It's So Easily Forgotten...

Several years ago, one could literally put together a few hotel meetings, make a list of their warm market, etc. and likely generate some great results with their business - and quickly too.
Well…then the advent of the Internet came along and it didn’t take long for the “players” to emerge and begin their testing on direct mail campaigns…but now, using the Internet as their medium to communicate the message. Arguably, the late Corey Rudl was the first (or certainly one of) to begin using squeeze pages (data capture pages) to generate data.

Enter “Planet Technology” And The “Quick Buck” Mentality:

It didn’t take long for this medium to really take off…Internet marketers, affiliate marketers, direct sales associates, MLM’ers, etc quickly fell in love. Who wouldn’t, right?

It was a quick way to engage their audience and solve problems…but on the cheap. Even in the early days…it was a few hundred bucks a year to host and maintain a website (a far cry from where we’re at today…for under $5.00 per month someone can establish an Internet presence).

A Critical “Link” Gets Lost In the Shuffle:

A lot of people lost their tail (and their vehicles, homes, prized possessions, etc) when the late 90’s came along - people literally putting their family’s livelihood on the line and their life savings. With the advent of the Internet, lives were changed…and many for the better. Big time. The Internet has created a massive amount of millionares and “new money”. It also cost countless practically everything they had (and much they didn’t have as well).

Throughout this time, most people completely forgot the critical element that makes most businesses (and especially network marketing) tick and continue building and growing…

Enter “Loss Of Fundamental Essentials”:

Many forgot about the power and the significance of “relationships”. You see it now on a daily basis…you see tens of thousands of network marketers out on Facebook, MySpace…twitter, etc - still in this run. As marketers we must remember one component at all times…

Regardless of how we choose to communicate our message, building a relationship is a MUST in order to build a sustainable direct sales or network marketing business. When we build a relationship, there’s a sense of trust…they’re ultimately “buying” into you and your expertise and leadership.

Whether you’re communicating your message via teleseminar, video, email, website, direct mail, whatever - we’re in control of the % of prospects that become customers or distributors - the better the relationship, the higher the closing percentage is going to be.

When we don’t properly establish our authority or use facebook (among others) to scream, “Buy my stuff from me” - it all backfires. We quickly have our hopes set ablaze…NOT because the medium doesn’t work, but because we didn’t use the tool properly.

If you were a carpenter, would you use a hammer to do the job of a stapler?

It’s not just about the tool…it’s really ALL about the marketer, their skillset and their ability to use the tool properly. Whether you’re building an email list, calling targeted buyer files, selling products online or offline - the more credibility we can establish, the more business you’re going to close.

It’s not about the method of marketing or the “channel” you’re using to communicate your message…it’s about how you’re doing it and how you’re engaging your audience.

Never lose sight of what’s really important…building, molding and allowing the relationship to take place. If you’re looking for the maximum number of closes, there are no short cuts.

It doesn’t mean we can’t or shouldn’t use “hands off” approaches, but it does mean how they’re structured and how you’re using these approaches can mean a world of difference.

Don’t lose sight of what’s important - would you buy from someone who visibly only wanted your money? Your prospects are no different. They want to feel important…not like another number. Make others feel “valued” - as in..., they actually mean something to you.
And remember…doing something, even if it’s wrong, is far superior than doing nothing at all.

Network Marketing Secret #1:

"My up-line was never going to tell me the truth about how he made it to the top." I knew from prior business ownership that growing a profitable organization had nothing to do with bombarding your friends and family, using 3-way calling or talking about duplication. Proper marketing of your business has nothing to do with using the latest hands-off digital marketing system, buying $3 opportunity-seeking leads, or using that goofy "3-foot rule". It is my sincere hope that these MLM secrets now revealed will lead you to question some of the things you're doing persistently, hoping to get different results. Einstein once said, "If you're doing the same thing repeatedly, but you're not getting different results you hoped for -- stop the insanity"!

Network Marketing Secret #2:

When I figured this out, I wanted to kick myself. Traditional marketing techniques are very effective and profitable. The reality is, most unfortunately, they're not so effective or (barely) profitable for you. The company and the up-line ARE THE ONLY beneficiaries of duplication, friends and family, and 3-way calling! Wow. What a realization. First, you have to know how to "put the numbers in your favor". Then, you need to learn how to "create the urgency to buy" so you can quit convincing and begging people. That's not what business has ever been about and that universal law isn't going to change. People buy the same way they always have -- okay -- except for shopping on the Internet now. That has changed the way people approach business, but their buying processes remain the same.

Network Marketing Secret #3:

"Product knowledge and mastering an MLM comp plan will not ensure you hit your mark in these programs, nor will it guarantee you're "duplicate-able". Networking any business correctly is about mastering your marketing and expanding your networks thoroughly. Successful business is about researching the needs of your audience, finding out what people want (rather than putting your head in the sand), asking them what they want, then delivering those results. Hit them at the time when the need is heaviest and bang! You've got it ! This marketing is never about forcing or cajoling but it is about helping people get what they need, when it's their idea. People don't like to be sold but they love to buy! There's a difference. This secret is about putting massive numbers in your favor.

Network Marketing Secret #4:

You must bring 3 key elements to the table, particularly if you expect success in the MLM industry. This is true for ANY business you're operating so this is no new wisdom here, but my point is that your challenge will be to shift your mindset in directions of becoming your own CEO. Once you figure out how this mindset works, you'll be unstoppable. It's hugely connected to motivating day-in and day-out as you're building exposure.

You must be willing to work,
You must have a "big reason why" you're in this business (or any other for that matter),
You must be trainable

Most people spend themselves out of business before they've had a chance to succeed. I've seen more people put themselves out of business by spending their last nickel on every MLM flyer, handout, and DVD imaginable. Sure, these 'business builder tools' are handy, when you know hot to properly promote yourself (not the company). It's about creating messages people want to hear, based on their willingness to do so, not because you or your Grandma resorted to arm-twisting. If your ability to rethink how you're presenting yourself fails, heck, you might as well use these items as doorstops, or in the very least, find a way to turn this liability into a prevailing asset. There is a way, and it's totally on the level.

Now, it's true that you don't have to have a ton of cash to start your business, but you must think and behave using right-minded actions, reinvesting your earliest profits back into the business. This is about building yourself into greater equity. I would ask you to heed the remembrance that there's no such thing as F-R-E-E.

Okay. Here's the bottom-line reality guiding real profits. I'll start by offering a few recommendations that have worked for significant others -- not just 1%.. What Is An RSS Feed?

Hello Fellow MLM'ers and Affiliates,

I'd like to share something that perplexed me when I began to work online. You know those finer "tekkie" points that snag newbies? Well, you know..., the big guys who've been doing this stuff for a while, it's no big deal to them.

But ask someone who's decided to work the business opportunity in an MLM (and they want to go online but might be forbidden to do so). They're caught learning a lot of stuff from scratch or they may be at the mercy of hunting and pecking for help (kinda like I was). Or ..., ask a new affiliate marketer to map out their first month of marketing activity! It's nearly impossible if you're starting your business from scratch.

So I'll cover a small point which confused me.

You'll see these everywhere.

RSS Feeds

What is this thing?

Ask a "tekkie" and they'll either tell you or they won't..., but let's hope they'll answer your question straight-up. If you've heard this saying before, there are no stupid questions but there can be poor answers. It's always up to a teacher, an upline or a mentor to make things clear.

By intuitive definition, here's what it is (so you can correct me if I'm still off-base):

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication", and it's used to describe a technology used in several formats but this technology creates feeds to help you follow news and other interesting tidbits. Now if that's still as clear as mud, an RSS feed can be understood by hitting your help function. If that doesn't work, a feed is a way to read content online without having to log back into a site or a blog. You can either track your own content or you can subscribe to someone else's feed. To do that, you just hit subscribe to feed...and wha-la! It pops up in your mailbox. You have to look at the column inside of your e-mail to read these feeds. I'm giving you the definition as I intuitively know it, without getting into precise terms.

Basically, feeds allow you to not only save time but they can simplify your online navigations.

What a Feed Can Do For You

It can help you connect things together. If you plan to create your own website or blog and more, the feed is one way of putting yourself out there (in cyberspace)...say..., in one fell swoop. But, it's also helpful when you want people to see what you're writing. Hope this makes a little bit of sense. If you're wondering how that's going to help you find more leads or close more folks, well...let's just say that everything I publish has a decent purpose.

Twitter is free! I talked about this free tool in last year's post..., around November. Twitter is one social media tool that's picking up steam and some autoresponder services are synchronizing with places like Twitter.

Publish Your Email Newsletters to Twitter

Now, whenever you create a broadcast message using a proven autoresponder, you can “tweet” that email. Don't worry. If you're not sure who to use, I'll offer a recommendation at the end of this post.

Look for broadcast page in the autoresponder account.

Click on create broadcast.

You should see something like a "Syndicate" checkbox before you save your broadcast. (Here -- you're activating an RSS/XML feed or HTML archive.)

Because some autoresponders work differently so again...check the end of this post for a specific suggestion.

Mark "Twitter" box to update your Twitter account.

Enter login and password.

Then preview your test newsletter in the autoresponder.

When you send your broadcast, the autoresponder will automatically update your Twitter status by a listed title in the subject line of your email. It will also include a short link to an online version of your email.

The Recent Web Trend Is --

1) Squidoo -- just now synchronizing with Facebook.

2) Plaxo --- has been synchronized with MySpace & Facebook for sometime.

Plaxo gives you the option of synchronizing several of your sites with Delicious, Twirl, and Twitter, to simplify the tediousness of posting (at too many sites). Easily post on one site and your business message will appear on another site. The best analogy is to imagine how you can best advertise yourself in several places, all at once.

The main advantage of using these sites is to keep your eye on recent business developments, relationships, collaborations, job searches, & more..., but even better -- social marketing allows you to test your business content long before you create a campaign of your own online. Good Day Fellow MLM'ers and Affiliate Marketers,

In my December 3, 2008 post, I shared Deepak Chopra's wisdom on creating affluence. In his book titled, "Deepak Chopra, M.D. -- The A-Z Steps to a Richer Life", we're reminded that affluence is a state of mind.

A person may possess great wealth in life but they may be poor in mind. Conversely, another person may be poor in their pocketbook but they may be spiritually rich.
The goal of this post (and future posts) is to help you align your spiritual self to your human self.
When both self and soul are aligned, your soul will bring forth 'inherent wisdom' or your inner-knowingness.

Today, I cover Chopra's letter "C" as I weave business information over time with uplifting concepts. Please feel free to check out earlier posts.

The essential quality of "C" "stands for Carefreeness and Charity". Because Chopra states these qualities succinctly, I will directly quote his book. In it he states, "A billion dollars in the bank, without the experience of carefreeness and charity, is a state of poverty. Wealth consciousness, by definition, is a state of mind. If you are constantly concerned about how much money you need, then irrespective of the actual dollar amount you have in your account, you are really poor".

"Carefreeness automatically leads to charity and sharing because the source from which it all comes is infinite, unbounded, and inexhaustible".

Think of the Universe as a mirror. It shows you the results of your inner-most thoughts and beliefs based on actions you take today. These thoughts will reflect your conscious and subconscious belief system. However, if you're not sure what your subconscious thoughts are, the conscious mind receives signals from the subconscious mind. What's neat about the natural law of mirroring -- these mirrorings appear in the form of people, messages, timed events and coincidences.

If you discover a belief is holding you back, you may reprogram the belief by using positive statements called affirmations. I talked about how this process works in the post covering letter "B". In short, if you rewrite an old belief in positive terms, you will begin to program the new belief.

Example:

I am poor.

Replace the new belief with:

I am abundant.

At first, you may not feel this new state of being.

You have to feel the new reality in your body before it appears.

Then by feeling that feeling consistently, you'll tell your subconscious mind the new thought.

The subconscious mind accepts the new affirmation without question.

The key is not to contradict yourself when you're reprogramming an old thought.

The affirmation can be stated out loud or it can be written on paper.

Here's a complete affirmation --

"Because I am inherently complete in the eyes of my creator, I am complete",

It takes 30 days to embed a new belief. You must accept it unconditionally for your subconscious mind to accept the new thought.

To make the first affirmation plausible to your mind, you can embed the first affirmation with the second one by telling yourself.

"I am abundant".

As you move in this direction consistently, you will produce a positive change.

If you use these affirmations but then talk to neighbors or family members about "not being abundant", your subconcsious mind will hold onto this belief. The goal is to be careful about what you say, paying close attention to how often you say it.

A to Z Steps to a Richer Life

Well Wishes Fellow MLM'ers and Affiliates,

During the holiday season, it's most common to reflect on past events of 2008.

If you feel 2009 must involve more change, then we turn to beliefs.

Did you know --

If you clear a belief, you can accelerate your learning?

You don't have to spend years mastering a life lesson.

Extend your thoughts further by considering --

Changes in belief alter your reality. You've heard that saying, "Be careful what you wish for because you might just get it"!

Then...think about what would happen if you could take this new belief further, replacing the old
one that didn't serve you very well. Now, carry this work over to your business and ask yourself..., how would those newly-acquired beliefs impact your business during 2009?

Whenever you change a belief, it has to become conscious. Sometimes this work involves 30 days of testing the waters, to see if you've really altered the thought.

Do you believe you are poor? You will obtain that result.

Do you believe you are worthy of the very best in life, regardless of what others tell you? Of course you are -- without any doubt!

So we address creating the abundance you desire (and deserve), separately from what you've been told.

If you think of yourself as someone who already possesses an internal guidance system, you can tap into this knowledge to bring forth ready solutions.

Today, I talk about letter "B".

It's connected to the essential quality of your Soul reflecting the energy of words called BETTER and BEST. When people read or hear these words, there's confusion. If you're thinking about getting the best of everything but you're doing it at others' expense, this kind of best will yield limited results.

Kindly think in terms of a Universal Good, representing the Functioning Whole.

Think about better or best along the lines of an old but proven Japanese principle martial arts masters call Kaizen. The most spiritually-integrated masters will pair Kaizen with business (using lean processes, Six Sigma ideas, guiding self and others with care and love).

Above all, anything you do in life should include love. This may sound corny but there's no more powerful force than love in the Universe. It's active, it's light -- it's knowledge.

How might you apply this information in 2009?

a) In order to change what may not be working too well, you have to take an honest look at yourself. This process requires time. It means taking some time out for yourself each day.
b) Think about what you want to change the most.
c) Then take a baby step forward. Write the new thought on paper and refer back to your notes often. Then embed the new belief with a new action. Any new step will count.

You must implement the small change often to embed a new reality.

Over time, more change will emerge. Be patient with yourself. Then, once you've made smaller changes, you can tackle the larger changes. If it's business or personal, the changes are up to you but to obtain the wisdom of anything new, you must first walk through the change to obtain the new wisdom.

e) Connect to someone new or known but apply the new change.
f) The cobblestones of your success appear as a new bridge, taking you from old to new.
g) Implement these baby steps without restraint. Don't think too hard. If you have gaps in your knowledge, then search for better information.

Better and best principles are not to be confused with ego. We're looking to discover the greater self with ease; it's that part of you which is very wise. It's always slow to anger and it's always quickest to deliver key insight.

If you find that an area in your life is sliding backwards, chances are that your greater self is trying to show you what must change. This means healing a belief that's holding you back. Maybe the change means going to the doctor or increasing your exercise or altering your diet for the better...or maybe it means you might improve your lifestyle to some extent.

If you can accept that you are inherently perfect in the eyes of God, you are eternal and powerful. If we apply better and best to personal relationships, the finger always points back to you. It's up to you to make the necessary changes. This is true because when you change something about yourself, changes from others appear later.

As you offer others your best, you will see that "people with a wealth consciousness settle only for the best". I'm not saying that you're expecting perfection from others because we know that people can't offer this in return. I am saying that by using THE PRINCIPLE OF HIGHEST FIRST, you'll share solid information. Pull from the strongest resources available but always
use careful discernment because we are entering a special time ahead.

You could say that we're now facing leadership of self!

People who are truly wealthy in mindset continually work on themselves. They never stop. They're always looking to others who mirror back to them pure power!

So you've probably stumbled upon a variety of superaffiliate websites online... stating that you can strike it rich, in 30 days or less. I'd like to inject a healthy dose of reality whenever you embark on the "home-based business journey".

This claim is not true.

The reality is --

1) it takes time to build a business

Times are challenging for many people these days. There are many blessings in disguise but I'd like to offer you something the martial arts masters taught me.

People Excel At Creation, Whether They Know It Or Not

Let's call Earth a planet of Action and Consequence. If you're okay with this idea, then consider the possibility that "This planet is a divine school, and daily life is a classroom. Our choice of teachers depends on what we need to learn", (Millman, Dan, 2008).

Thoughts You Hold Are Powerful But Action Is Required

You could say each person develops his/her creative abilities in a relatively-short period of time called a lifetime. By bringing into reality what is desired most (but based on a set of specifically-held intentions called your beliefs), you will create a new reality. Beliefs guide actions and actions deliver results. If you don't like the results of your reality, alter the belief radically by taking a new action.

Sounds simple. Right? Well -- maybe. Let's assume that humans naturally resist what they don't easily understand off the bat. Did you know that there are Universal Laws put in place to help you see what's not so obvious? Consider natural laws tied to an effect. Call this law the Law of Mirroring. Some people call it action and consequence. What you don't see in yourself directly..., then others will show you. This is important feedback to alter what you like or don't like about yourself. Ignore this feedback and you may get a heavier lesson than before. This is much like learning how to better yourself in say...areas of personal money management. You spend X dollars but take in Y..., but your bank accounts and investments will tell you something else entirely. That's one example.

Now, if you put different actions into place like saving more money than you spend, you will begin to shift towards another reality yielding other opportunities. Pretty neat, when you think about it. So early relationships in life tend to prepare you for the more successful ones later on, depending on how well you think and act.

Why this information can make a difference in your online business -- it's to help you see that the keys to your true success are usually connected to your most honest self. That self tends to reside within this type of mastery I call honest personal assessment and improvement.

Hi folks. First of all -- I wish you the very best, no matter what you're experiencing! Whether you're doing fine and you're having fun -- that's great. If you're like more of us who are feeling this financial meltdown a bit, try not to worry. The thing to do is to keep working with an upbeat attitude. Keep working but stay focused on results. If something isn't working very well, assess what's not working, look for what may work better...and then alter your plan of attack. The best business owners do this!

If you're an MLM'er, kindly don't tell me -- "Well affiliates work things another way. They don't do what we do...so therefore, this marketing stuff won't work, Brinkmeyer".

CHALLENGE:

Okay. Fair enough. Now let me have my say...and let me say it with care and respect...because I believe in my fellow marketers, no matter what they're moving. Ask a few 'major corporations' in your city if you can watch their corporate marketing departments in action. Yeah, they're proprietary and they probably won't let you walk in to see what they're doing. No problem. You can find the answer online.

Pick a company you like. I recommend it's not necessarily an MLM, right off the bat..., not because I'm biased against MLM's but because MLM sites aren't necessarily showing you the full marketing overview. They will show you what's on sale (so you can pay attention to how something is promoted). That's helpful.

Pick a company that showcases a very popular product or service -- one that many people know.
Enter that name in a search browser.

You will see a few things in common, across several best sites. Look for a site that offers reviews and helpful information. Don't just pick a site that lists a bunch of products and nothing else. That may not give you the information we're tackling right now.

LOOK FOR --

1) a website that's interactive -- meaning you can see articles you can click on for research purposes, you'll see videos that educate you, you'll see who to contact for more help
2) you should see an area which includes a place to put your contact information
3) you should see a place where you will receive newsletter tips and updates -- the autoresponder carries these messages to you
4) this is standard stuff
5) you may see 'how to join a class or a seminar'
6) you may see something about how to directly purchase online

If you could see this work in progress..., where you could saunter into a marketing area, you'd see writers and researchers and analysts. You'd see them working on websites, copywriting ...,(writing effective ad copy targeting one audience or two, you'd see the stuff in progress...as it's appears online) as you inquire. If your MLM will let you take a tour of this work in progress, then you want to see what they'll allow behind the scenes. A product tour is great but you want the marketing information! You want to see how they put themselves online. You want to see the CALL CENTER, where people are making calls, handling the sales. This is the real information that's going to impact you.

Now, if you're new to all of this online stuff -- that's okay.

IF YOU LIKE TO TEACH OTHERS --

If you can make money teaching other people to make money, you need to do a couple things.

STEP-BY-STEP --

You need a website, you need to solve problems, you must create value, you must then promote yourself or even advertise through free (self-publishing) or paid means (pay-per-click), put into place a solid sales system, move a quality product, incorporate a fairly decent converting sales letter, include a strong autoresponder series, and drive traffic to your site.

BOTH OPTIONS I INCLUDE TODAY ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS --

If you can do all of those things - why can't you do this in any market? Why can't you apply this stuff to the MLM model? It's because the traditional hats who don't know how to do this stuff, don't know how to do this stuff. So, they tell you what they know. Use 'warm market'. 'It's easier'.

If you're an affiliate and you can't do these things - you shouldn't be selling products - you should be learning how to do all these things.

If you want to take the slow route - go through the steps and learn from your own experience.

If you want to go the fast route - pay somebody a couple bucks for the hours and time they spent putting together the format for you.

Here's where people have trouble with online marketing. No one has to prove to you that money is being made on the Internet.

PROOF:

1) BILLIONS of advertising dollars are spent by major corporations to complete these very steps - that fact alone tells you that there is money being made online.

2) The reason earning disclaimers are created by superaffiliates is because NO ONE can guarantee you're going to go through the system step-by-step.

EXAMPLE:

When people first enter an MLM or join an online Internet Marketing membership site, they expect everything for nothing. They want results without the personal work. But, if you are your own CEO, you're going to have to master your product content anyway (benefits/features/values), not comp plans, not up-lines, not bonus pools (that's applicable if you already have all of these marketing elements mentioned here).

You must be able to direct your outsourced workers you pay to get some of this stuff done, whether or not they're on track with what you demand.

And..., most of all, you must know your audience because whatever they demand is what must be fulfilled.

CONSIDER FRANCHISING AS A MODEL FOR SOLID BUSINESS:

Franchising takes you through steps A - Z, no matter who you are, no matter what your eduation may be. It adheres to a step-by-step model in Internet Marketing. Did you know that?

APPLY MARKETING HAPHAZARDLY:

Let's try marketing in reverse. Join a fast n' easy Make Money from Home Website (with no work on your part) or apply the traditional MLM recruitment model (with no experience needed) and you're bound to hit the wall. Again, this isn't your fault. You've been handed incomplete information!

Let's consider how McDonald's operates. If you can use this general business model then applied to online marketing, you can't expect to pay McDonald's a franchise fee, do nothing yourself, then get upset because customers aren't buying from you - all while your store is still being built.

It's the same with online marketing. Before you go live, you have to set up your store, organize it, test its contents before you open your doors, test all links and test the infrastructure to make certain that anyone coming on board will be able to find and track your words. So this thought brings us to forgetting a negative business mindset that everyone else out there will do the work for you.

HERE'S WHERE THE MONEY IS --

1) Get a website that monetizes products/services.
2) Drive traffic to it.
3) Track your results.
4) Change things every single day to find what works.

So let me ask you if you're able to do those 4 things?

If not, here's a system that takes you step-by-step through the necessary steps.

Do you have a website? Is it monetized (you should have pay buttons and a shopping cart)? Of, if you're a new affiliate, head to www.clickbank.com for ideas. You can easily pick up affiliate products there. Are you driving consistent traffic? Are you tracking all of your metrics? Are you split testing the different pieces of the puzzle?

It baffles me what I read in these online forums - people have systems they're accessing, laid out step-by-step. These sources I'm talking about teaches all these things. Here's my CHALLENGE to ANYONE who thinks this business doesn't work.

BUILD A WEBSITE
DRIVE TRAFFIC
TRACK IT
SPLIT TEST IT

And do it in front of us.

It requires a few to several months out of your life (depending on whether or not you're new or experienced).

Then share what you learn.

Don't hold anything back.

Let all of the experienced and inexperienced people check out your information.

Learn every single step.

Skip a step and your system won't work.

Kindly remember that your campaign must adhere to natural ways people research information, then play consumer to look at things from that perspective. Enter keywords when you're 'only looking'. Find something you really want now. Notice which keywords you enter when you're more ready to hit the pay button? (Hint: people will use specific, long-tail keywords when they're ready to buy. EXAMPLE: research vintage guitars. If you're not buying, you're entering "vintage guitars" in the search browser to see what's out there. Now let's say that you want a vintage guitar. You've seen many models. You've found a website that sells more than 40,000/year. There's a big one that does this. You then go to the site and in their search feature, you enter the make, model and year of that type of vintage guitar.)

WHAT MOST PEOPLE USUALLY DO WITH THEIR ONLINE CAMPAIGNS:

They often start their threads, going about doing it in a step-by-step fashion. Then, not too far into the distant future (most will give it 2 months), they suddenly disappear. To all of those people who are negative about Internet Marketing --

It's not Internet Marketing that doesn't work.
It's not the tactics that don't work.
Perhaps it's you who gave up before you could figure out what and how the main marketing elements fit together.

SO..., EVEN WORKING FROM MY OWN ADVICE:

Never give up. Hit as many brick walls as you need but don't give up during these adverse times. It's your freedom and your finances that could be at stake. If you keep working at it, you'll make sense of these steps. You'll form key relationships online (learning from those who already know).

To Bail Or Not To Bail -- What's the Real Question?

Well, the House of Representatives rejected the $700 Billion bank bailout Monday. The Senate did not concur on Wednesday. Now there's ongoing deliberation later this week to prevent what some claim will be the worst financial meltdown ever. Personally speaking, lets outlaw high CEO (Chief Executive Officer) payouts. This challenge can't be a clear-cut issue.

Implication For Consumers --

goods are carrying a more reasonable price tag...and some items are still 'sky-high'
what are retailers thinking ? -- forget the designers --
cost-of-living increases are almost nill
lenders will tighten credit
any credit secured will come at a higher price
401K's are worth less
some spend no matter what

Implications For Businesses --

You'll be pressured more than ever to find just the right niche (sub-niche).

This brings us to the real question called true profitability --

1) How do you find people who want what you have to offer?

2) Will they buy? (Yes -- you can answer this question without hassle!)

3) Are they ready to buy 'sooner-than-later', even when they're carrying less cash?

IM Checklist, Cont'd: Systemization (Part 7)

Greetings Fellow MLM'ers and Affiliates,

Posting content on a Saturday. Wishing you a happy weekend and a prosperous new week ahead, delivering part 7 of the Internet Marketing checklist. Please allow me to emphasize a few things before you see 4 major points on the list.

1) You are the CEO of your business --

Not your upline. Not your crossline.

If you are looking for help online, be certain to use careful discernment. The Internet is evolving, the economy is unstable, plenty of people are looking for work elsewhere and we are moving into an empowering time.

2) That much said --

... it's a great opportunity for you to finally create your dream job. With sweat equity and a little bit of cash upfront (not tens of thousands of dollars), you can publish yourself into your area of expertise. I will begin to fill in specifics along these lines in future posts. You can move yourself into profit. But, it's going to mean work. It won't happen instantly and it won't happen overnight.

3) The Internet is also a place where unscrupulous people will take advantage.

Please Let This Reasoning Be Your Guide --

In all matters -- whenever you're the consumer, time is always on your side.

Never let anyone tell you "that you have to make an important business decision..., right now..., today...or it's gone". If that happens, in truth -- then that biz opp is GONE. You don't need it. What you want is time-tested information and cutting edge material, and people who will be around for the long haul. These people will answer your questions with respect. As they show you what's out there (without having to reinvent the wheel), they will tell you "this is a standard offer". They won't berate you. Had to get that off my chest because nothing steams me more than human dishonesty.

IM Checklist, Part 7 -- Systemization

7.1 Outsourcing

This is NOT about getting people to do your dirty work. Truth be known --- the best entrepreneurs handle their own dirty work. They don't expect others to slave over what they know they must handle themselves.

This is about hiring people to help you with things you don't have time to master or things you've already mastered so that so you can tackle the bigger stuff, thereby moving your business forward. You pay a fair price. If that work means someone delivers you proper keyword research or a website or solid copywriting (ad copy you see online), they should deliver what you expect.

This is about putting your business on automated processes so you can expand your market reach. If that means managing multiple campaigns, let's include outsourcing as important help. Please don't expect to get it for free.

7.2 Automation

Getting computers to automatically complete key tasks in your online business.

7.3 Building Business Systems

Systemizing business tasks so that all management happens on auto-pilot.

7.4 Customer Service Systemization

Putting systems in place to manage customer support tasks. That doesn't mean you, the CEO, will ignore customer complaints.

Today's post touches on a few advanced marketing concepts. Until you've had a campaign online working seamlessly for a minimum of 3 years (time enough to build a responsive list), chances are you're better off marketing along activity levels mentioned in prior posts. See earlier checklists for a complete overview.

There are various superaffiliates online who specialize in areas mentioned along this marketing continuum. Some marketers are more complete than others so I offer reviews of many, picking only the best (and most proven) ones out there.

As the CEO of your business, you have full choice to incorporate anything you wish into your business, as long as you're not violating corporate trademarks, using specific company materials or publishing corporate content.

Solution: offer neutral information, put your name on everything you do, become a 'go to' person and in time, you'll attract people to you on the basis of your expertise.

Then, offer the values and benefits of your products or services. If you publish even a snippet of corporate information, then include the proper credit, (name and date). That's the best way to keep yourself out of any hot water!

In all posts, I offer recommendations giving you ample means for much less than you'd traditionally think. The goal is to support your marketing, positioning only you as the expert!
