IM Checklist, Cont'd: Product Creation, (Part 3)

Hi Fellow MLM'ers and Affiliates,

Welcome. Offering part 3 of the full Internet Marketing checklist. As more people see an overview, they're able to sift through proven materials from hype, better able to make better marketing decisions. While the Internet is not 'the end all be all', it can be powerful.

There are people harnessing the power online and they represent both marketing realms. The numbers are growing. Those who implement consistently over time eventually develop their own qualified, targeted leads based on the messages they publish. It's not an overnight deal. On average, the best marketers will spend anywhere from 3 - 5 years developing a responsive lead list. That's the norm.

Part 3 of the IM overview expands the blueprint for action, no holes barred. Best news of all -- you don't have to go broke implementing this blueprint because we're talking about developing natural traffic based on what's called achieving an organic listing. For this end-result, it means for average Internet Marketers that there will be a lot of self-publishing..., but it's not impossible.

SO HERE'S THE DEAL IN INTERNET MARKETING

You need time --

  • time to learn and absorb
  • time to research a profitable, sizeable niche (one that's small enough so large companies won't care -- large enough to support you at decent levels)
  • master your first campaign -- rinse and repeat -- develop multiple campaigns online
  • take your mastery to the public

PROOF IN THE PUDDING

  • Look to the actual market trends to see what fellow businesses are doing online
  • See what's happening over time
  • Make up your own mind
  • Everything in the economy is shifting so nothing is static online or offline
  • Add'l tools appear online, as the Internet evolves
  • Research Dan Kennedy, Gary Halbert, Perry Marshall, Rich Schefren
  • Recent IM pressures push marketers to 'be straightforward with customers online' because of prior bad raps...and content is key.

HERE'S THE PRODUCT CREATION LIST, PART 3

3.1 General Product Creation Techniques

Fast, effective strategies for creating your own products to sell online.

Why ? Sometimes it's necessary, in order to differentiate yourself (stand out)

from the larger market. This is advanced marketing, not recommended for

beginners.

3.2 Creating and Distributing E-Books (Electronic Books)

Creating informative ebooks with ease, selling them online. Best labeled as whitepapers

or 'help pdf's', this is a legitimate way to increase your expertise in the eyes of your consumers.

3.3 Creating and Distributing Books(Paper-Based Books)

Becoming a published author by selling your own books online. This is not a 'get-rick quick' scheme. This is an initial way to establish yourself as a credible source, opening the first door to other marketing means (seminars, tapes, educational DVD's and more).

3.4 Creating and Distributing Video Products

Creating video products that you can sell on DVD or directly online.

3.5 Creating and Distributing Big-Ticket Products

These are products that sell for $200 - $20,000.

3.6 Developing, Promoting and Running Seminars

Seminars are big business! You can profit from them too.

3.7 Outsourced Product Creation (Ghostwriting)

Getting the creation of products outsourced.

Covering Section 4 in the coming days ahead.

IM Checklist, Cont'd: Content Marketing (Part 2.3)

Hi fellow MLM'ers and Affiliates,

If Internet Marketing is something you wish to understand, the goal is to complete the IM Checklist in the coming days ahead, give you an overview..., then show you what's possible. You can build a sustainable business online using real data. It's not a shot-in-the-dark some might suspect. This kind of effort requires a dedicated approach. Forget sites promising you the moon, telling you that "no effort" is needed. This is only a losing proposition.

In the coming months ahead, I will deliver resources best answering these questions.

Also, please know that there's no such thing as a 'turnkey system'..., BUT you have the power to pick and choose what you want for your business, readily answering the demands of your clients. We call this 'solution-based marketing'... -- where you find what people want -- then you supply a menu of viable choices. The best businesses do this, without exception.

Part 2.3, IM Checklist --

2.3.1 Article Distribution & Article Marketing

This is the place to start, IF you're building your business on a budget.

  • a solid way to put your name online, for the lowest-cost possible
  • the best way to generate targeted leads for less than pay-per-click
  • ease your way into Internet Marketing without going broke

This marketing method is about distributing articles to attract traffic from third-party sites.

2.3.2 Blogging

Use blogs to attract visitors to your web-site. If you don't yet have a web-site, this is a great place to start when you're new to Internet Marketing.

2.3.3 Viral Marketing

Attracting torrents of visitors using viral marketing strategies.

2.3.4 Video Marketing

Distributing videos on third-party sites (e.g. YouTube) for purposes of attracting visitors.

2.3.5 User-Generated Content Sites

Using sites like Squidoo, Hubpages..., etc. for rankings to attract traffic.

2.4 Social Media

2.4.1 Social Networking

Gathering crowds using social networking sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace, etc..

2.4.2 Social Broadcasting

Communicating with and gathering crowds using Twitter, Plurk, Friendfeed, etc..

2.4.3 StumbleUpon

Attracting web-site visitors using StumbleUpon

2.4.4 Social Bookmarking

Using social bookmarking sites (e.g. del.icio.us) to promote content and improve search engine rankings.

I will offer additional information in the next post. Hopes are not to inundate you. See the overview, choose what you want and choose proven resources.

  • If you need traffic and lots of it -- read on.
  • If you don't want to hire an entire department to do what you and maybe a few others can do via automated means -- then read on.

If you're new -- click the "Take The Challenge" link listed below.

Take the challenge.

If you're a seasoned player, it makes no difference whether you're a marketing rep who's been around the block more times than you'd care to admit or you're a marketing professional who's been walking the the "high-wire" too long. This is about giving you a roadmap that's supported.
And..., you don't have to slug it out in the trenches for 17 years at length, to piece together what should have been delivered, MLM -- day 1 of recruiting or affiliate marketing.

SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION

Here's starter work which helps people find you online. This work gives the search engines Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. demand. Rich content satisfies what people want. You, the merchant..., get what you want -- customers and lots of them. So, we use the search listings.

There are 8 parts to Search Engine Optimization --

A British group of "techno-brains" developed something more workable for "us common folk", like me for one.

Part 1: General Search Engine Optimization Strategies

  • Ensures your sites are ranked prominently in search engines.

Part 2: Achieving Fast Ranking

  • Ensures your sites rank quickly in the search engines.

Part 3: Identifying SEO Keywords for Easy Rankings

  • Find the right, high quality keywords most likely to result in fast top-10 rankings.

Part 4: On-Page Search Engine Optimization

  • Make changes to site content, thereby improving your site's search engine rankings....so people find you easily, for less.

Part 5: LSI/Siloing

  • This has to do with structuring your site effectively, using what's called "latent Semantic Indexing".

Part 6: Link Building

  • Improving site rankings by obtaining links.

Part 7: Creating SEO Optimized Content

  • Writing content with effective keyword placement and density for search engine rankings.

Part 8: Tagging

  • Identifying tags for videos, blog posts and other web 2.0 content.
Take the challenge. They show you step-by-step how to do all of this stuff.

Feel free to post your comments, happy or otherwise. This is about helping you find what you want.
