Answering Q's About Online Business

Hello Fellow Online Entrepreneurs,

I frequently receive questions about the technical aspects of online business such as:

* I'm setting up a blog but it requires manual coding (HTML).  Can I use Blogger instead?

SOLUTION:

Absolutely.  The beauty of blogger is that it has a built-in editor, and this editor will allow you to enter plain text (as you see here) in place of intricate HTML (hyper-text markup language).  Because human eyes don't read HTML very well, it's best to use Blogger as a tool which will create the coding for you.

Step 1)  Add Blogger.com as a free account.

Step 2)  Set up a basic blog using basic recommendations during set-up.  It's okay if you don't understand all of the directions.

When you see during initial template setup something you don't understand, either leave a field (area) blank or enter "xoxo".

Save all settings.

See where "xoxo" appears on your blog.  You can always edit "xoxo" out of your set-up.

Step 2)  When you're ready to publish an article, click on edit "new post".  Click on the tab that allows you to edit in simple text mode.  Save.  Then go back to edit.  Click on "HTML tab", cut/paste the HTML from your most recent article, cut/paste into another blog or website location for your automatic HTML coding.  This is the quickest way to learn HTML.  I've used this method many times in order to see where HTML coding may be missing a symbol.

I hope this helps.

As with online Internet business, you will (if you keep working) find unique workarounds eventually solving these smaller challenges.

NOTE:  Please feel free to post your comments/questions.  If there's anything challenging you online, it's going to be marketing your business/product/service to a select crowd already willing to buy what you offer.  Remember, in all marketing messages, the messages must be about your audience (not you).  You lead with the value of your service or lead with the value and benefits of your products.

Actively Investing In Yourself - Why's

Welcome Fellow Online Entrepreneurs,

In this last quarter of 2012, I post logical findings to support your new business ideas:

1)  Being that you want to go online, but you're not sure who to trust.

*  Keep your credit cards on ice
*  Do NOT pay fast appearing Internet marketing gurus selling you the "latest thing"
*  Learn what's involved first

2) If you are absolutely convinced that an Internet web presence is what you want to create for your business, take it slow.

* Find companies online you regularly order with/from and have success with
* These companies are the best websites to watch
* Notice how they put together "what works" online
* Emulate

3) If you must hire someone to construct a website for you -- you do NOT have to pay $10,000 for a workable website.

4) A Website Contains

*** A place where consumers can get free content from you (to learn what you are about)
*** A place where they can click on articles about your company/products/services
*** Content people can read at leasure
*** Updated content reflecting online changing times
*** Open pricing

5) A Blog That Matches the Website

*** The content will supplement content appearing on the website
*** Look for a company you like...such as Nordstrom...so that you can see their

A)  Website
B)  Pinterest
C)  Facebook

You will see that the content is similar but moves people from one place to another..., to another.

6)  Spend time building your Internet marketing network online

*** You want to know who you're doing business with
*** Avoid Internet marketing coaches...or...if you hire one..., look only for the one who is actively making $$ online.

7)  Do NOT expect to build your online business overnight

A)  It takes years to build a full infrastructure, one that is entirely connected on the front end and back end of a workable campaign.

B)  If you are doing some of the work yourself,  it will involve:

*** A monthly newsletter
*** Use of You Tube Videos
*** A place where you can build your clientelle list safely.

In the coming article, I'll share resources you can trust.

The bottom line is --

In order to invest in yourself and in your business, you're keeping your $$ on ice..., you're finding out what you need (which I've listed here)..., and you're doing the work yourself (studying ad copy -- print consumers read)..., you're writing articles (or paying others to do this), and you're generating your own leads (of inquiring like minds..., or people who already have an interest in what you presently offer).

Commentary Regarding Clear Content of Any Nature

Hello Fellow Online Entrepreneurs & Business Owners,

Today's post is simple.  I answer incoming Q's from others by telling you how things are online.  I don't sugar coat realities at all.

One of my biggest Q's is --

1)  Why others don't print what they preach or remotely (yet alone astutely) believe?

A --

It takes massive education to get to the bottom line.  Most don't know.  They don't take the time or spend the $$ to know what must happen in a specifically set order like:  building your online infrastructure (which I specify below), building your following, then building loyalty & trust, then establishing steady interactedness, and then finally moving products/services the larger consuming public will repeatedly want and willingly pay for.  These steps do not happen overnight.  This success requires that you'll be there for others when they want you and need you.  That's not easy to deliver because it means that you'll have to outsource and hire help along the way.

2)  I am not speaking of you going through this process the way I did.

Because I am transitioning into medical school, I demand an exhaustive approach to anything I do, and in the online environment, there is time-intensive study involved in learning how to effectively promote a product online..., if we talk about you doing the work and not hiring a company to do it for you.  This marketing process can become expensive. when you don't tackle the work yourself.

However, as you transition online, the tools you absolutely need are the following:

* Through the use of blogging
* Through the use of article marketing (publishing...through free means)
* Through the use of a primary website (which attracts attention & tells people what you're about)
* Through the use of public relations (social media marketing...Facebook ...for one).
* Through research...as you watch your favorites...whether those websites watch rock stars or big business like retail online.

**** The key to your success is to find one major online success, look at the campaign, track it closely, see how it fits together, and see how the octopus arms expand outwardly online to "net in" or pull in traffic (inquiring minds).

About the Junk You Find Online

This harsh (governing) reality has much to do with a prevailing notion about what constitutes proper business:

1A)  It's simple.  Be direct about all offers.  Be very clean with delivery of products/services...AND above all...,

1B)  Value human beings.  Be being human first and leader second, high integrity is a must.  You must always make the right decision for your customer/client.  To sell them anything they do not need is the same as shooting yourself in the foot.

1C)  I only share what I do and know.  I don't proport to take any short-cuts when it comes to giving people what they demand.

1D)  I don't assume that I know what people want.  I ask.  They tell me.  I research it, and find the overall finest results they can repeatedly rely on in order to create and experience real value for consumers and business owners alike.  In this way, you create business that lasts...and any wealth you amass is then fully enjoyed because it is had through honest means.

1E)  It's taken me 6 or so solid years of steady research online and (not to mention a lot of $$) to look at what works and doesn't work.  The very simple ingredients working for ALL businesses online is that they must have a strong

* strong web presence;

* one branded name...minimum --

...usually being the website owner's name;

* clear, workable website with content others can follow easily;

* a blog that marries but does not duplicate the website  --

This is for Google indexing purposes...to get a high page rank & Google, page 1 listing so that others can find you when they either enter a problematic keyword phrase (string of words pulling you up as the net result));

* a strong Facebook presence -- with fans interacting on that FB page to an excited extent;

* the connecting tie -- where the blog and the website and the pay buttons all connect together to move products/services;

* maybe some Twittering -- to date, I have not discovered that this generates the traffic one could really use;

* article which capture and hold interest and move people to a blog/website;

1F)  Emulating a campaign that gets solid results

1G)  Finding those you can trust online and offline to help you get the job done affordably.

Existing confusion which prevails as the net result of many infopreneurs just peddling the next thing they feel will trip your trigger by movtivating you to reach into your wallet for greenbacks they don't have.

That's stating matters plainly.

Real Life Marketing At Work Online

Hello Fellow Entrepreneurs/MLM'ers/Affiliates,

In this post, I'll offer you a link to a blog I just formed inside of an Internet Marketing Place of Learning, as it works on what's called "New Economy" reliable learning.

It's called the Open Education Project where you don't have to be accepted to a major university to learn what's required.

http://goo.gl/mpH88

This link should take you to the project.  It is called Wealthy Affiliate...as a learning place for new and seasoned Internet Marketers scratching their heads..., but wanting to know what's absolutely involved in creating an effective marketing campaign.

This link will show you 3 steps involved in a great rock band marketing their first annual Caribbean Cruise, scheduled for March 2013.

http://goo.gl/mpH88

You should see 3 agreeable steps in this real campaign:

1)  A Facebook Page

Where rock band fans visit and share helpful tips involving cruise planning.

2)  The Official Rock Band Website

3)  The Official Cruise Website

Not listed by specific order.  These are the only things you need online to make a go of it..., but note all details on these pages.  See how everything fits together.

It doesn't matter what you move as long as your messages are consistent, and content varies from website to website a bit.  You don't want to website that look identical, according to Google.

500 Places To Syndicate Your Content In 1 EZ Step

500 Places to Syndicate Your Content in 1 EZ Step

Hello Everyone...Online Entrepreneurs/MLM'ers/Affiliate Marketers,

No matter who you are online, no matter what you're promoting, there are a few things you must do in order to freely get the word out about your business --

1) Use free resources to publish information about you and your business ;

2) Pull in places like Facebook & Twitter to attract people to you; stimulate interest, help others see what you can offer (by listing only values/benefits they obtain)...; and

3) Incorporate places like Technorati and Pinterest..., Linked-In, & Plaxo. You name the social arena, join for free, and post your content there....

4) Better still, in order to generate your own steady list of inquiries attracting only those who want what you already have to offer, you're identifying your optimal market segment of willing buyers.

To do that, you're first harnessing the power of leveraged companies already paying for your cyber-space and your online presence.

SOLUTION:

Go Here!

How?

Think about Target or Wal-Mart.

They spend millions each year advertising their products/services online, and they do it in ways you...the individual..., cannot.  I could spell it out in detail, but that's an entire book in & of itself so you'll have to trust me when I say that by linking your website to a "power site", you harness the traffic (indirectly).

You may not necessarily obtain direct sales from a power site.  You will obtain eyeballs looking at your content.  From there, you can mainstream your efforts by drawing in those eyeballs from all over cyber-space.  Now this isn't an overnight-effort.  It takes consistent effort to put yourself online, long enough for people to first see you, and long enough for people to read what you're about.  Then.., it takes a bit longer for those to establish connections with you.

These steps always unfold first before viable sales appear.

Whether you're involved in any form of online marketing, you must be in business for the greatest reasons --

1)  Wanting to alleviate some pain or problem for someone else

2)  Intending to meet that need honestly

3)  Delivering well

4)  Being there consistently & reliably.

I will continue to publish more content in the coming weeks & months ahead.  As I transition into medicine, my home-based business will continue to bring you more online tips, tricks, and helpful tidbits.

Final Note:

If you can remember that online business is best supported by offline business, you will fare better than say...the business only trying of these strategies.

I hope something helps here.  If not, feel free to post your comments.  I do read them and answer accordingly.

Choosing Viable Business First, Success in Home-Based Business

September 25, 2012

Choosing Viable Business First

Welcome Home-Based Business Owners/Online Entrepreneurs,

Some of you are asking me to beef up my content on this blog so what I'll do is strike a balance.  Oftentimes, when people think about starting a business online, they're interesting in one thing:

* quick cash

Sure, that's a reality we all must face because no one can live for free, right?  Right.  However, there's a lot more than meets the eye when you're setting up a working infrastructure online.  You've got to have...

* A viable product or service which allows you to effectively compete both online and offline, particularly if you're going to offset (mitigate) your business risks.  Strictly setting up an Internet business might not be the best solution.  I'll explain further so keep reading, but in order to get into the WHY's it's important to find just the right product, I'll let you in on a few secrets.

There are 3 types of folks who look for work from home, and I'll tell you precisely who they are:

1)  Your Network Marketers who have tried everything their companies have long touted --

a) hitting your friends/family for product purchasing
b) taking friends/family to a group meeting
c) sharing the great products/services many of these companies advertise.

MLM BEHAVIOR:  The challenge is that when you're doing that kind of ad promotion, you're moving corporate materials, not your OWN branded ads, and you're paying hefty money from your own personal pocket to give spreads of corporate ads to everyone you know.  This pays the top 1% Avant Guard big money, and it advertises the company for next to nothing, but it does absolutely nothing for you.  Now these top people have gone through the trenches.  They've used very old business methods, they've clawed their way to the top, and they've spent massive amounts of their own money "just to look good on stage".  There's more.

REFERRAL:  SEE TERRY DUFF.  He's one of the best online, and he'll show you what's needed to make a strong go of it online in the MLM world.  I make this referral because in my blog, I'm only working with products, skills and services people will have no trouble purchasing.  In MLM, in can get murky.

2)  Your Affiliate Marketers who have tried everything different Internet Gurus told them to buy.

It is true, that when you have a marketing infrastructure set up online advertising and positioning you as the sole expert (and this applies to MLM'ers), you will be able to move any affiliate corporate product.  You will obtain varying commissions for doing so...but the challenge there is that when you are solely an infopreneur, you have no specific product you can sell (other than your brand name) UNLESS you know precisely what's going to help many affiliates reach their stride.

REFERRAL:  WEALTHY AFFILIATE UNIVERSITY.  Just Google them. These people teach you what you must do in order to get your online infrastructure set up and going, plus they teach you ongoing Internet marketing as the online realm changes.

3)  Those who are independent in business and have their own thing.

I reference people who are doctors, emergency ski-rescuers, rock stars, New Agers selling their latest product line or new book on "How to Become Your All in 5 Easy Steps".  These people have a product specifically carrying their names, and they market themselves exclusively.

________________________________________________________________________________________________

The main emphasis of this blog will be to share tips, tricks, and online marketing services which teach you the core skills you need in order to build your Internet marketing online yourself.  As with all blogs, you must research sources online. This blog gives you starter ideas.  It does not delve into CFO blueprints, or extensive information doing the work for you.  Yes...I'm making a change because I believe that in order to promote products and services that will do the public good, it has to be totally transparent in its appearance.  However, that's just me.

I do not teach network marketers Internet marketing.  Many times, they aren't sure what this entails...but Terry Duff can do this.

Affiliate marketers have a challenge understanding ad copy (copywriting), seeing how the overall flow of a campaign can work.  Ad copy is the print you read anywhere.  They seem to have challenges in acquiring the basic skills needed to set up a campaign online (keyword research, optimized keyword content in published articles, and more).  I'm telling you about the larger majority.  In all cases, there are exceptions.  Those of us who work a day job and then study Internet marketing at night (attorneys, doctors, & entrepreneurs) will "hang in there" long enough to get the basics going, and when they have the extra cash flow, they'll hire companies to manage their monthly Internet campaigns.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________

WHY'S of Viable Products/Services In Business:

1)  If it's an MLM -- These products are some of the best on the market, AND companies cut costs drastically by leveraging their Distributors (who are also intensive consumers of their products) to move their ad-related materials.  So you must find a way to advertise and market only your name.  People will purchase in the presence of true mastery and nothing less.

2)  If it's Affiliate Marketing -- You must build at least 5 - 10 - 15 - 20 profitable campaigns in order to build a monthly commissioned bottom line.

We're not talking about Adsense.  This type of marketing requires a very different online strategy altogether.  The challenge with infopreneurs is that many of them will build a front end marketing campaign leaving you with very little on the back end.

You're looking for people who have integrated marketing campaigns generating endless streams of leads, filled with people buying a long list of products/services on the back end of that campaign.  That's why I recommend Terry Duff.  He is one of the finest marketers online.  Just Google his name, and you'll see his blog dedicated to both affiliate marketers and network marketers.

CONCLUSION:

The bottom line behind any business succeeding is that it takes persistent work.  That work is not difficult if you love what you're doing.  It does require extensive advertising online and offline in order to generate a steady flow of inquiries.

Stay tuned for more assistance in the coming months.  I am someone who is transitioning into medicine so that's where this blog will head....putting the self out there while building up a long-term online presence.

Internet marketing is not a quick "do".  It takes years to build a profitable campaign.  That's the main jist.  I hope you found some of this information helpful.  In all matters, conduct careful research, interview people who are already successful online, and be diligent. When you intend to create something, there is nothing that will stop you.

Translating Passion Into Success From Home

Hello Everyone,

I'm about to share with you how you may spell out enlightened possibilities involving work from home.  I'm not talking about network marketing although that can be one route.  I'm about to share with you some very profound realities many don't consider.  Therefore, I won't date this post because it is Universal in its information.

Corporate Ideologies

1)  Have nothing to do with sculpting your success.

Why?

They're not set up this way.  In fact, let's take a very expanded approach to conservatively include old mindsets handling quite a bit of business as it relates to the past 150 years, and what you face in corporate America and beyond is an outmoded Industrial-Aged mindset.  This is not a poke at anyone.  It's a persistent reality.  However, apply NOW information (digital aged) content and what you get is a real shift.  So you have to shift your thinking.  I'm about to show you how very easily, without investing a lot of money in a household endeavor.

2)  BUT....

New Realities Governing Your Success Exist Everywhere

Many people have skills and abilities they may not consider...but these talents are dormant until you sit down to examine what you can do.

*** There is a valuable book located at your local library.  It's an occupational handbook for U.S. based work.

*** If you buy this book online, it costs $20.

*** If you even find last year's version dated 2011 or prior, it's time well spent.

3)  Head to your library or order this book at Amazon.com.

It's going to show you from the comfort of your own home how you can look at all of the jobs you had never before considered.  It's going to show you in a heartbeat, and it's going to show you what's possible without forking over a ton of money on new education...or having to buy tools taking you nowhere.

4)  In this handbook, start walking through it to see what lights up your eyes.

This is key information which will show you what you've looked beyond, disregarded, or barely considered.

*** Continue thumbing through the book. You're looking at facts...not emotions.  You want U.S. figures that outline concretely what people are doing in America to earn their livings.

*** Look at all sorts of industries.

*** See what trips your trigger.

*** Look for 5 alternatives you can list on paper that will entirely set your mind, imagination, and feet ablaze.

EXAMPLE:

In my life, I've done a lot of different things but the one thing that really lights me up is the ability to doctor other people not only in medicine but in health, wellness, vitamin therapy, psychology, and just good living.

5)  Make a list of creative activities you adore.

6)  Don't rule out anything.

7)  See if you can align hobbies with skills.

8)  Take some of the wildest experiences you've had with people and find ways to put those experiences into words on paper.

9)  You're looking for an inventory listing of things you've done or have not yet considered as your ultimate outcome

10)  Then...take that U.S. Occupational Handbook you've checked out of the library or purchased (one of the best books I ever bought)...

11)  Now...comparing the list of things you've done or would like to do better or overlooked -- look at the handbook.

12)  Compare

EXAMPLE:

So I made a list of healing-related activities I've done in my past.

* counseling while operating my own martial arts school
* helping people reduce injuries or manage swelling
* running people to emergency rooms
* visiting students when they were sick in hospitals
* helping family members deal with mellow to life-altering illnesses (cancer)
* coping with the unfortunate ending (death)

I looked at the U.S. Occupational Handbook

* spelled out how to get into med school
* formulated a list of what I could do from home once certified
* carry work home
* form a side office
* find concrete ways of listing my dreams on paper to later attract paying clients to the home environment

13)   This is overly-simplified...but I'm showing you possibilities.

If your neighborhood or apartment does not restrict business, you're free to outline what you can and cannot do.

If they do, for future reference list areas of the city where you have more freedom.

14)  My point is -- whatever your mind can create, the U.S. Occupational Handbook will tell you precisely which occupations you've missed, how you can get there, what kind of financing you may need, or how you can work with the tools you already have to create your ideal world.

In America, anything you dream can be created.

Stay in touch.  I will continue to share more MBA ideas at comprehensive levels.  This is the best degree in business I ever obtained because it takes the overview, waters it down into concrete solveable steps, and shows you how to construct new realities based on fact.

Hang in there.  Don't give up.  Many are shifting to home-cottage business because it's convenient, affordable, tax deductible, and very doable.  The Internet is making it all possible.  People are setting up websites using home addresses.  They're protecting their identities using alias emails and business names, but anything is possible...more than ever.  You don't have to work for a company if you don't want to do so..., or better... you can blend work with a company from work at home.  In a physician's lifestyle, they can treat patients in a hospital, but they can followup from home and promote their products on the Internet.

Yours In Business,

Key To Home-Based Business Success Is Passion

Hello Home-Based Business Friends!

Responding to comments from readers, I'll offer this primary insight.  People say that having a home-based business doesn't lend itself to much success.  That's only true when these forces are at work:

1)  You're working your business for someone else instead of yourself

2)  You've forgotten to put that effort forth in the right light.

Right light -- meaning...what is that one fire that sits in your belly?  It should be something that will get you up early enough in the morning to write an article, form a blog post, talk to people, or inspire another action.

Business is about taking one step at a a time daily, connecting, caring, and being yourself.

If you can zero in on the essence of why you're here on this Earth, you will create your business.  It may not happen overnight.  It could take you years of soul searching and even connecting to people.  Still don't believe me?

I'm about to reveal something extraordinary, and it takes some faith to read what I'll now share.  So I meandered for a while putting everyone else's small business ideas to work online.  I was doing everything they said I should do, but then one day I took a very radical turn.

I made a decision that no one approved of at all.  I connected to someone I absolutely adored online.  He's very famous.  He had little to do with home-based business, but anyway, I knew something about Internet marketing.  I went to his website and noticed that there were some things that could use improving.  I offered my two input, and next thing I knew...I'm developing a friendship with this person.

In life, one things leads to another.  So here's my biggest point.  I'm developing this friendship with this person.  He's in the music industry, and he's sold 70 million albums, DVD's, and more.  I spend the next 4 months intensively helping this man..., and he's a wonderful person.  I find out what he really wants.  He wants a decent friend who will just help.  I offer that part.

THEN...out of the blue, I discover my passion!

At Facebook, I start working a new profile based on this powerful content one hundred thousand people on this Earth are clammoring for, but that's the key to your success.  You're looking for something that is so inspirational to you first, and then it will apply to others.

When you find this one thing, it will carry over into many other avenues of helpful success.  You're looking for that one thing that will inspire you through challenging times, where few believe in your ability to create this abundance.

If you're still not sure, think about how many people online are working their businesses from home.  They're really not working MLM.  They are using Internet marketing though.  AND..., once they find that key thing they love being first and foremost (and then doing), they're creating their own success.  We're in the middle of a major shift now, and getting paid will carry different meaning to those who are passionate about what they do.

Internet Marketing: 1 Solid Solution For Home-Based Businesses

Welcome Back Fellow Home-Based Business Owners!

...and MLM'ers.  It matters not what you're promoting.  What matters is HOW you promote yourself online.  I'd like to share a few basics today explaining how many companies expect you to utilize their online marketing services, but what makes this post unique is that you don't have to spend a lot of money online just to build your own qualified, targeted lead list.

I'll explain further.

When I talk about building your own list, you're building the list of clientelle (or prospects) you need in order to promote your thriving business.  There's a tendency for people to get locked into a mindset which says:

"Yeah...Barbara.  I'm in a multi-level marketing program...or I do direct sales".

Online, it does NOT matter.

So no matter what kinds of promotions you're facing (to ultimately move your products), marketing is marketing.  Whether it's offline or online, you need a blend of both.

I'm going to share someone very special with you to show you how online marketing works.  All you have to do is follow this gentleman for ...say...a decent year.  SEE what he's doing.  Don't get so lost in what is being said.  LOOK closely at every small point you see appearing on every site he owns.  Notice how it's all linked together.  See how every website, blog, or forum addresses what's most relevant to consumers.

His name is Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues.  He's the lead visionary and singer of a very established British rock group.

What I want you to do for me are these few things:

1.  Go to You Tube

Google...Justin Hayward, Moody Blues, Forever Autumn

Play the music.  Enjoy.  Relax.  Now look at what's happening.  How many You Tube videos do you find under this name?  This is important because we're talking about establishing a very solid web presence so that anyone can Google your name, find out what you're promoting, and contact you for more information.

2.  Notice -- where does the You Tube lead?

Does the You Tube video carry your own advertised ad?  It should say..."Go to (mywebsite.com) for more help".

Does the video simply build a following or will it begin to build your clientelle (prospect, fan) list?

In early stages of online marketing, that's all you're doing.  You're building a loyal fan base.

In MLM or even when promoting say Zappos (a shoe and clothing website), there are elements of promotion at work.

3.  You want your own Free You Tube account

4.  You will want your own independent website.  Don't spend $$ on corporate sites that do one thing -- move traffic only to them.  Companies do this all the time, naturally, because it's in their best interests to do so.

Now head over to Justin Hayward's website:

http://moodybluestoday.com/

See ...what's on that website.  Look at the smallest things.  What do fans see?  Where do they next go to obtain help on their questions?  Does the website connect to Facebook and Twitter?

Get free Facebook and Twitter accounts.  Form your own profiles at Facebook.  Start a fan page for your own following.  Do this in baby steps.

5.  So...Barbara, what about my company?  They forbid me from using my own website?

My Answer:  What?  Which land do you live in?  If it's the U.S., this is a free country.  As long as you promote neutral products (no company specific information), you're okay.  They cannot sue you.  You cannot mention names, product names, or reference articles written by some company pro.  You want everything written by you.  It's really not too hard...but post comments.  Ask me questions.  I interact with people all the time, helping them set up what they need to independently own their own power (without stepping on corporate toes).

Kindly remember -- a company cannot prevent you from building your own following.  They cannot.

This is about building your own name and image online, called branding.

6.  You're attracting willing buyers who will only want your help -- not someone in the company who could care less about what's really happening.

This is true in an MLM.

It's true for online affiliate marketing.

It's true for an online retail store.

It's true for a British rock band.

7.  Your website does not have to cost you $10,000.

When you're building an online web presence, yes, there are specialty services you may have to outsource.

If you have to hire anyone, make sure they are specialized in Internet marketing.  The writing (ad copy...print you read to move anything) must be written in a certain way to grab attention, hold interest, motivate some inspired action (like clicking one of your articles or joining your website for more information), and eventually lead to a purchase.

There are specific things Internet marketers do that webmasters do not tackle.

For one, Internet marketers are very much like attorneys.  They undergo years of training in order to build a qualified skillset.  Web masters may or may not have any of this training.

So hire a pro.  If you don't know who to access, I have a network and can recommend services delivered by proven individuals.

8.  You want your own free blog.

Use Google's blogger blog.  It's free, but keep in mind that any content you publish on blogger, they own it.  That's because their domain is theirs.  But...as you see me playing with Google, you'll get instant indexing (listing for free with Google).

This is called building your personalized index so that people can Google you!

9.  We're building a webwork.  That's what you're after.

The goal is -- when people land anywhere, they can find your websites, blogs, and more.

10.  Here's more proof.

Head over to my Internet Marketing website.

Don't worry about the content.  Just see that it's there.

http://barbsinternetmarketingmastery.com/

11.  See the linking?

I'm still adding elements as I figure out how some of the technical wizardry works.

12.  Be patient.

You won't build a following over night.  I've been doing this for a while now, and it just takes persistence, love for people, and a willingness to bring them what they need most.

I'll stop there.  This is about building individual success!

How Does Internet Marketing Work for MLM?

Welcome Fellow Network Marketing Friends!

Hi folks!  I'd like to thank you for finding me here at this blog.  You may not know me yet.  I'm still building a follower base...but as this blog has been attracting the largest online audience when compared to standard brick-and-mortar business owners following my content...or even affiliate marketers wanting to know how to set up a successful Internet infrastructure... business online boils down to one concept --

  • You put your name online (not your company)
  • You write from your heart
  • You attract an audience
  • You find ways to communicate with that audience
  • You interact and build loyalty
  • You close the deal.
Does It Have To Be MLM?

If you want.

What About Not Moving My MLM?

If you're passionate about ...say...cooing doves, you can move anything.

What About Both...Moving My MLM and Doing Something Else Too?

Yes...you can do both.

What About...Say...Picking Any Topic For My Success?

Yes...whatever your mind can conceive, you can do both online and offline.

__________

Internet Marketing...Is Online Advertising...That's All It Is

Here's where I've had more challenges working with different people from all walks.  They're operating from what they've been taught...not necessarily by family members (but that can happen)...but by what they've been taught from childhood by companies.

I'm not joking.

THINK BACK....

When you were a young child, do you remember seeing "all of the thrills and laughs" while watching your favorite T.V. ad selling "rock'em, sock'em, robots"?  It looked like a great toy...until you got it home.  Then.. it was most likely thrilling for about about 15 minutes..., playing with a younger or older brother or sister...who most likely didn't play it the way they showed you on T.V. ...., UNLESS you became a major fan of that toy, played within a network of same toy lovers like your friends (who actually cooperated and play nicely), but then you did have endless hours of thrilling interaction.

So what was the magic ingredient?  The company moving the toy did 3 things:

1)  They triggered your desire for "more fun"
2)  They promised it would deliver
3)  They said it would deliver...for a price.

What did they really do?

1)  They promised you would have fun if you bought their toy
2)  They said it would be majorly exciting if you bought their toy
3)  They said it would be heavenly ...and that you would be popular with everyone..if you bought their toy.

See the pattern?

Whether it's your MLM...whether it's dating a long lost love..., or whether it's moving your MLM...or whether you're moving some affiliate product...or whether you're moving your own business outright, it takes work to know and serve people.  It's not really that sexy...it is massive work...but in the final end what you get is this --

1)  Increased awareness or an expanded concsciousness
2)  The thrill that you knowingly helped someone
3)  Fulfillment for doing what you love.

That should be the highest essence behind anything you do.

If you're after the final 3 points...and not the empty promised land...,

So What's Affiliate Marketing? 2012 Update.

Welcome Back Fellow Network Marketing Associates!

Hello.  Happy 2012!

Thanks for visiting me here today.

While some of you are in a hurry to move your MLM, please allow me to share this reality with you.  Take your time.  Find out what your company is really doing.  Set a monthly limit on what you buy from your MLM.  Don't let anyone in your company pressure you into purchasing their 1) corporate websites..., 2) their systems...3) a garage full of products you can't yet move.

One of the biggest questions I get from a lot of people is this --

"Barbara..., So What's Affiliate Marketing?"

Affliate marketing is a way of putting the consumer in touch with a product.  Affiliate marketing is one way of moving products, but there are larger numbers of people who use many different marketing methods.  Methods vary based on the type of audience that's being reached...where that audience predominantly resides (how people tap into information), and how that audience will be grown by individuals/companies.

1)  Affiliate marketing is NOT all there is.

If you are researching what affiliate marketing might mean to you, but you are confused about what it entails, keep your wallet on ice!  Do NOT run a random search online because you'll be found by major gurus promising you the moon.  Some deliver.  Many do not.  I touch on this core reality across my blogs...simply because there are people out there who want one thing from you -- your money.

2)  There are offline marketing methods.

3)  There are offline/online marketing methods designed to advertise...say a movie star or a rock star or say...a department store...or an individual.  Their methods may/may not use affiliate marketing, depending on the way they're growing their businesses moving their wares.  Mainly, those folks create their own products and they create their own affiliate systems to move their stuff.

Companies may not have full market reach so they pay other people online commissions for connecting consumers with products.  That's pretty much the skinny.

4)  Common ways of advertising what you most likely purchase happen through --

A)  paid offline ads
B)  paid online ads
C)  free offline ads
D)  free online ads

It's obvious...and it's not.  If you are a frequent purchaser, and you have not operated your own business before, it can be tricky to shift your mind in owner mindset ways. That's because this kind of thinking usually has to be modeled and taught.

What you're looking at are ads.  You stop purchasing at higher levels to just see what's happening.

5)  To understand what I'm saying regardless of whether it's affiliate marketing...MLM marketing...or just paid ads, spend a year doing nothing but looking at these things ----

*  ad copy -- the simple sentences you see on magazine covers
*  ad copy -- simple content you see appearing in articles
*  ad copy -- store signs
*  ad copy -- book titles and book reviews
*  ad copy -- MLM flyers and other handouts
*  ad copy -- affiliate online headlines

Are you seeing something appearing obviously?

All purchasing is emotional.

So don't get roped into the idea that affiliate marketing is different from MLM marketing...or standard business advertising.

IT'S ALL THE SAME THING

I'll prove it.

How does marketing essentially work?

*  You put your image (photo) online
*  Go into the social networks
*  Pick up a free blogger.com blog and start writing about some subject that really gets your juices flowing (it has to be something that keeps you very excited day after day...and no...I'm not talking about sex).

Your topic could be clothing...or shoes...or a specific vitamin regimen designed to alter acidic PH levels in the body...

Or...refortify calcium levels...

Or...reduce aging and sun-spots...

Or...make yourself more attractive to the opposite (or same) sex...whichever may be your preference....

Or...cure toenail fungus.

_________

The Point Is --

Human beings have needs based on immediate problems.

No matter how you package it, a solution can be re-designed and re-stated...

but it's all the same in the final end... people helping people.
__________

WHAT ABOUT SPIRITUAL STUFF?

That's another topic for another day...but if you sat in your heart for any length of time...you would eventually see that much of what we think is real in this world is actually an illusion....save for true love.

That is a topic that can only be addressed from within.  As far as I know, very few human beings know what this is as long as they motivate from egotistical levels.  Even then, if you master the mindset connected to this audience, you can move true love.

I'll stop there.  There's plenty of content to examine, process, and understand.

Feel free to post your comments, and suggestions.  Because the Internet is a massive subject, there are massive areas of online learning split into mastered arenas.  I can't possibly cover every minor detail on my blogs or I'd be 120 years old.

The main assumption governing all communications will be to mirror back your grandeur for purposes of helping you find your true power.

  • Look within for your highest answers
  • Focus on your most positive side

When you do these things, you will magnetize to you wonderful people.  They now appear more online in an effort to bring forth the highest reality.

If you are here to network, feel free to refer to many of the resources I've established for you. They are here for your safe use.

If you are here to make friends, I have been attracting pure hearts in this place...from all over the globe.  We pull in highest ethics designed to assist you in your upliftment and success.  This is done so in a ready effort to usher in a New Economy (without baloney).

If you are here to research what's involved in potentially starting a business for yourself online, here's what you want to look for:

1)  Drawing to you a decent group of knowledgeable people who will be available and who will mirror back to you your highest self (true power)
2)  Connect with those who will never distort, omit, control, or remove empowered content
3)  Incorporate very high honesty and integrity
4)  Emphasize steady patience ...avoiding short term approaches
5)  Network
6)  Employ ultimate truth...you can feel when something isn't right...so always trust your gut
7)  Access information systems, educational help, and networks who value what they do
8)  Tap into resources passing the test of time
9)  Make decisions leading to you informed choosing and responsible purchasing
10)  Discover/create caring realities designed to bring you sustainability and reasonable business growth.

As in all things, I will never encourage you to work a billion or trillion dollar blueprint.  Pick a level you can sustain, enjoy, and share.

Money is energy.  If you misuse either, it will be taken from you...not by others but by your higher self.

Work together.

Know that any content you access over time is replaced by better content leveraging a higher consciousness.  As humanity evolves, so do business and personal ethics.

Be in charge of your life.  Know that you create your reality by holding a specific set of thoughts, and by taking "right-minded action".

Diligence and a strong, steady belief in yourself are everything.

If you don't feel worthy about one or many beliefs, persist until you find out what the most positive statements will be.  HINT:  Take your negative thoughts and restate them in positive terms.

____________________________

With these statements carefully made, any of my blogs will do one major thing --

Put you in best charge of your future.

Anything you don't like can be changed for the better.  Anytime you hit resistance, it is your higher self's way of saying "push on another door because this one isn't working".  Set your intent.  Take a small step forward, no matter how small it appears.  Tiny steps add up to more change than you could currently imagine.  Your Spirit will always put your best interests at heart.

Please post your comments on any of my blogs.  It matters not which realm of influence you live in. or move from.  The Internet is here, and it is designed to put information at your fingertips for far less than you would imagine.  You will not be limited to an online environment.  What you learn here can translate into offline success.  The two will blend.

I am moving in directions of merging all content online.  Because you have been taught from childhood to view life in one way mainly -- buying...and consumerism.  There are those online who value individual success at highest levels, and we are here to help you shift in creative, producer-oriented ways.  This is a major shift in mindset, in that you must therefore be taught to value what you already know.  It is also very possible to take your most basic interests by turning them into real profits.

The goal amongst some I access online do one thing -- help you find your center and help you create the life you deem most appropriate.

You do not have to be owned by anyone.  You are a free entity...loved in ways you could not possibly see right now.

If you click on some articles and see that they are either missing... they are being updated, require further revision, and are connected to some links which no longer sppear, it is because these links are not sponsored by other individuals, or more.

My blogs do one thing:  help you harness the power of the Internet in ways you could not presently imagine.  What worked 3 years ago does not necessarily apply to today. That is true because Google is changing so much of what it requires.  Some content varies as per individual/group mindset alteration.
