E-Mail Marketing Thru Twitter - New & Seasoned Vets

Hello Fellow MLM'ers and Affiliates,

A great part about the New Year is -- there's always positive change afoot. Ever wonder how the Top Dogs in MLM's or affiliates communicate with a lot of people at once? Read on.
  • Several social sites are now integrating themselves with each other
  • This means it's easier than ever before to use these sites
  • This gives you a better chance to increase brand awareness, when you publish content under YOUR NAME

Translation For Newbies --

If you follow online social marketing circles, you may have read more about or participated in discussions regarding the benefits of social media used to grow a business. This brings us to something I promised to talk about last year and the results are finally in.

What Social Marketing Won't Do

It's not a replacement for email marketing. It can complement your networking by connecting to more people through your site(s) and your campaign(s). If you don't own a website, you can set up an account at Blogger (free) to start your own blog.

When you have a site constructed in your name, many of the tips and techniques I share will work for any product being marketed. Of course, I can't spill all of the beans!

Now, keep in mind -- some corporate sites restrict how and what you publish. Blogger gives you an alternative starting place to brand your name but better still, you can market several products across several companies all in one place. Later on, you can organize your offerings by upgrading to more sophisticated services (self-hosting & automation).

Meet Twitter

Twitter is free! I talked about this free tool in last year's post..., around November. Twitter is one social media tool that's picking up steam and some autoresponder services are synchronizing with places like Twitter.

Publish Your Email Newsletters to Twitter

Now, whenever you create a broadcast message using a proven autoresponder, you can “tweet” that email. Don't worry. If you're not sure who to use, I'll offer a recommendation at the end of this post.

___________________________________________________________________

Here's How You Sync the Two

Look for broadcast page in the autoresponder account.

  1. Click on create broadcast.

  2. You should see something like a "Syndicate" checkbox before you save your broadcast. (Here -- you're activating an RSS/XML feed or HTML archive.)

  3. Because some autoresponders work differently so again...check the end of this post for a specific suggestion.

  4. Mark "Twitter" box to update your Twitter account.

  5. Enter login and password.

  6. Then preview your test newsletter in the autoresponder.

When you send your broadcast, the autoresponder will automatically update your Twitter status by a listed title in the subject line of your email. It will also include a short link to an online version of your email.

What's the Cost?

Imagine growing your business at a much slower pace with this service. Imagine dealing with spam complaints. That's a headache you don't want.

Imagine...for the cost of one pizza per month, you can build a more efficient business with this service.

What's In It For The User?

  • Continuous support 24/7
  • Live help
  • Hundreds of email templates
  • Ongoing tips & tricks to help you create and manage a responsive, targeted list (clients or leads)
  • Help to increase conversions (closings)
  • Identify profitable niches (through targeted market segmentation)
  • Boost affiliate sales
  • Properly visit with subscribers
  • Easy & affordable monthly billing
  • Web form tracking
  • Data management
  • Backup and exported data..., plus more.

For Newbies -- it's plenty of specific help your business can really use.

Common Twitter Email Newsletter FAQ's

A Few Q and A's --

Can I choose which broadcasts get tweeted?

  1. Once you enter your Twitter login and password once, the autoresponder assumes you'll want to tweet all of your broadcasts.

  2. If there’s a broadcast you don’t want to tweet, unmark the checkbox while editing it.

How many Twitter IDs can I link to my account?

  1. Link one Twitter ID to your account at any one time.

  2. You can change which ID is linked to your account by entering the login/password for it in step 4; this will replace your previously selected Twitter ID.
